Lake Life on Beaver Creek was a great place to stay for our boys’ weekend fishing trip! Our host, Hayley, was quick to respond whenever we had a question or needed anything, which made our stay even better.Being right on Lake Wateree gave us plenty of great fishing options nearby, and The Beaver’s Den is within walking distance, which was a nice bonus.We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this Lake house to anyone coming through the area!

Our stay was amazing! The house was spotless, well decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The lake views were stunning. We loved spending time on the water and enjoying the surroundings. The hosts were responsive, welcoming, and made the entire experience seamless from check-in to check-out. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay!

Enjoyed the weekend at this cute and relaxing home. The home was clean and perfect size for a couples getaway. It was conveniently located within a short distance to a restaurant Beaver's Den. The food and drinks were very good. The atmosphere was family friendly.

I enjoy the backyard. It’s very shaded with tall beautiful trees and a view to the marina. It’s sometimes fun just to sit out back and watch people load and unload their boat boats. Can be quite entertaining.

There was a KAYAK on site which I really enjoyed using. It took a little bit to figure out where to put it in, but there’s an area where the wooden wall is removed so that worked great. The beds were very comfortable in the bathrooms were really nice.

Very cute property at the lake. The house was perfect for our weekend getaway. The host is 10/10. So easy to communicate with and very clear with instructions. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to staying again!

I messaged host a couple times prior to check in and never got a response outside of the automated pre-arrival messages. There were some water bugs inside the house when we got there which I know is normal around the water, but as a previous host, there are ways to combat them a bit more with some better exterminator services. Same applies to the outrageous amount of yellow jackets outside the property. Outside of the natural forces - the property was as described and very comfortable and perfect for our little family plus my baby brother visiting. I’d absolutely book here again and highly recommend this awesome spot for any other traveling family or even couple looking for a getaway!!

I enjoy sitting on the back porch and watching people load and unload their boat boats. Also a great view of the marina. It’s within walking distance to Dock 97 and the Beaver Den bar.

It’s a comfortable cabin for sure. All the amenities that you need my favourite part is that it’s within walking distance to Dock 97 restaurant.

Beaver Creek is our favorite lake area. This cabin was beautiful, met all of our needs, is located in a wonderful and convenient location, with an amazing host!! We will definitely be back.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with piles of leaves on the porch. The screen door leading into the house was broken and full of bugs/wasp nests. Once inside, we continued to find more concerning things. The kitchen floor had piles of debris. A dirty sponge that wreaked of mildew filled the house with a terrible odor. The return vent was covered in layers of dust/mold and dead bugs were littered in every windowsill. The laundry room floor was covered in dust, bugs, and used dryer sheets. Most of the blinds were broken and didn't open/close. The couches were broken and didn't recline (as pictured) and the tv remote couldn't be found. The fans and ceilings were covered in cobwebs/dust. In the bathroom, we found a used contact lens stuck to the side of a cabinet. When we pulled the sheets back, there was a long, black, hair that made us question if the sheets were even clean. The back deck was covered in layers of leaves. Had we not arrived so late, we would have packed up and immediately left. We stayed one night and immediately packed our bags and left the next morning. When we contacted VRBO with our concerns, VRBO was very understanding and apologetic. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the owner. She offered us a one night refund and said that we should have contacted her with our concerns at check in. I'm not sure how the owner would have rectified this situation at 10:00 at night, but no renter should ever have to endure this level of filth upon arrival.

Beaver Creek cabin

Situated right on the lake with great deck and boat dock. Very peaceful and convenient to the town of Camden. The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Great place to stay

Locely little lake house in excellent condition! Everything worked, super clean, great space to relax, hang out, enjoy lake. Close to food and convenience. Hosts always responded quickly and frankly it was just a super easy weekend. Thanks for letting us stay!

We love Lake Wateree and needed a bigger home this trip and this fit our family of 6 perfectly. The view of the lake is beautiful with a quick 2 minute drive to the marina (or swim if you’re interested). The property was lovely with lots of shaded trees. The beds were super comfortable and everything felt clean and tidy.

Cozy with everything you need nearby

I really like this place, it’s very cozy and is a great location on the lake. It’s within walking distance to the marina and also to a great restaurant called dock 97. The restaurant is open Thursday through Sunday and I highly recommend it.
