VILLAMARE IS AMAZING!! 3 Million dollar pool and hot tub renovation is complete. . 2 pools and 2 hot tubs oceanside. All new furniture in both bedrooms and in the living room. Everything is now new and beautiful and very comfy.

Villamare is a beachfront, oceanfront complex in prestigious Palmetto Dunes between the Hilton Beachfront Resort and Spa and the Disney Beach Club.

VILLAMARE COMPLEX
- You will be in easy walking distance to the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center which has 18 clay tennis courts, 4 of which are lighted for night time play and 24 PICKLE BALL courts all of which are lighted for night time play.
For the golfer there are 3 magnificent golf courses right in the community, including a beautiful Robert Trent Jones course with a fairway along the ocean.
There is an indoor pool and spa.

CONDO
- lovely ocean view from the master bedroom and the living room
- we're in building 3 which has 2 elevators
- the unit is a quiet unit on the top floor (no noise from above)
- linens and towels provided (including 8 beach towels)
- Master bedroom, en-suite (2 sinks) with a king size bed and good separation from the guest bedroom
- Guest bedroom, en-suite, with 2 queen size beds
- Updated bathrooms
- 50" smart TVs in the living room, and master bedroom
- a balcony, shared by the master bedroom and living room, is furnished with a small table & 4 chairs with a view of the gardens, pool, beach and ocean
- a second balcony with 2 chairs and a view of the gardens and lagoon is off the guest bedroom
- a very well stocked kitchen
- internet keyless entry
- free internet and cable
- magnifying mirrors and hair dryers in each bathroom.
- plenty of hooks and hangers for your towels and clothes

Renovated since November, 2021:
EVERYTHING - floors, kitchen, stainless appliances, quartz counters, paint, furniture....

Please note: there is a fee for each car to enter Palmetto Dunes (Villamare is within Palmetto Dunes.) For everyone's safety only registered guests are permitted inside the gates. For a 1 week rental the fee is $35 per car.

No better host. So responsive and so very helpful. Very clean, beautiful condominium. Incredibly well stocked. Lots of things that were special like a huge basket of beach towels, beach cart, boogie boards.

This is a GREAT condo! Everything on this listing, even more, was accurate. Quiet location in the building, easy parking. Pools were close, beach just beyond them.

Listed as oceanfront-not! Distant small view of ocean at a distance. Trek with multiple gates and codes to crowded beach. 2 elevators in huge complex didn’t work majority of time requiring trudging up and down airless steps. Dishwasher broken when we got there. Owner tried to get it fixed but couldn’t find repair person for a week. She was responsive and good to work with but villamare and vrbo? Never again….

Hi Diane,I am very sorry that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. The Villamare resort is listed as oceanfront. My condo is listed as ocean view. The complex has three buildings. My building has 2 elevators. The other two buildings have only one. One was always in service during your visit. Unfortunately it is very busy over the July 4 weekend so the beach was crowded as is the entire island. The gates are to keep people who are not renters out of the complex and pool area. As for the dishwasher it is only two years old and not something I have control over. In fact you shared with me that your dishwasher at home had broken the week before your vacation. Also, we gave you a $200 Amazon card to compensate for the lack of dishwasher. I have never had lower than a 4 star review and only 2 of them over 5 years.

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay at Villamare. The location was perfect, just steps to the pool and beach. The condo was fully stocked with everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out were easy.

A great place to stay in HHI

Very clean, nicely decorated with a bright color scheme, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and a nice view of the ocean in a very attractive complex in security minded Palmetto Dunes a few minutes away from the ocean. Add in a very attentive, service minded host/owner and you have a great place to stay in HHI.

We just returned from a great stay in HH and this condo was perfect for us. It has everything you need, is very comfortable and great decor. Judy was an excellent host and so easy to communicate with. She gave us lots of tips..we have stayed in Palmetto Dunes before but this location is now our favorite - easy walk out to the beach and great pool with new lounges and umbrellas. Would definitely recommend.

My husband Ken and I purchased this condo in May, 2021. We currently live in NJ but are planning a move south after our grandchildren are out of high school (we don't want to miss a single softball or hockey game.) We decided to purchase a condo to sample a little bit of SC beach life. We'll decide in a few years where we want to retire permanently. In the meanwhile we're fixing the condo into a place that feels like home. We hope that you will love Hilton Head as much as we do and be comfortable in our home away from home.
