Fantasic family accommodation.

Spacious accommodation just seconds from the beach. The roof terrace has a bbq kitchen, perfect for family dinners in the sun. The host helped with car rental so we could explore all of LA, highly recommended!

Great stay in Venice beach!

Our group enjoyed an outstanding weekend at Jon’s property near Venice beach. Jon was a gracious host through the booking process and arrival experience and the property itself was just as pictured if not nicer. The group loved the beautiful roof deck and really enjoyed the media room. Property was clean with great proximity to the beach and local attractions. Would highly recommend.

Great Location

Our stay was beautiful and the house is very clean and comfortable. You need to be in top physical condition due to all the stairs and levels. But the roof top patio and location to the beach is amazing.

We booked really shortly before our arrival with our newborn. Jon was an amazing host, he helped us a lot, answered very quickly when we had questions and was careful about our stay with an infant. And overall the house and the location are awesome. We‘ll definitely want to come back

Nice Venice, California Beach House

Jon’s‘s place was pretty much exactly like he advertised it. A group of nine of us was very comfortable. The location was great and the house is lovely. The kitchen/living area and the roof deck are particularly nice. He advertises 12 people can sleep there which requires some airbeds and couches, but he is upfront about that Before you rent and it wasn’t an issue for us at all. I would definitely recommend it as a good place to stay at the beach in LA.

Team Retreat

The Marina Peninsula perfectly accommodated our team of 6 members on a retreat. The home is very spacious and adequately equipped with all necessities. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, the neighbors are friendly. The home is located a block from the beach as well as walking distance to shopping and dining areas. We enjoyed our stay and Jon was available for all our questions and concerns (very helpful). If ever we are in Los Angeles again we will book a home with Jon.

Great home and great location!

Stunningly beautiful home, new and modern feel. Whole place is very nice, the best of all are the spacious and new kitchens and bathrooms, and the roof deck. We spend a few evenings on the roof deck which has nice views and a fire pit. The location is in Marina Peninsula which is perfectly close to nice restaurants, the beach, and the pier, but far enough from the noisy parts of Venice. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe for families. Really recommend highly as a place to stay, and very communicative, pleasant and helpful owner. Our family enjoyed our trip here immensely and we hope to be back in the future.

Perfect spot for visiting Venice/Marina Del Rey

Spacious multilevel home in great location to access Marina Del Rey, Venice and Santa Monica. Perfect for beach walking, enjoyed daily morning walk on the beach with destination of Menotti’s Coffee Stop. Bright, comfortable home, safe and friendly area. Kitchen well equipped and laundry and theater were a bonus. Interesting stroll to restaurants, easy drive to LAX and Getty mansion museum. Jon is a fantastic host! So nice and helpful! Magnificent Marina del Ray beach house

Great location, amenities and host. Jon was a great host and met us to show us the house and sent helpful text messages in advance and helped us with a slightly later check out. The neighborhood is very quiet and the beds were fantastic and the linens were very nice. We loved the proximity to the beach to catch the sunset and walk the few blocks to the Main Street and enjoy the wonderful restaurant and shops. While we didn’t cook meals, the kitchen is fully equipped and recently renovated. We drove to many locations around LA and marina del Ray is the perfect central home base. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and hope we have the opportunity to visit again soon!

Beautiful house, Would stay again

The house is very nice and decorated comfortably. Property was clean and located on a nice quiet street. The host was easy to communicate with and friendly. The beach by the house is gorgeous and was not over crowded given we stayed there in June. There is free parking on the street in front of the house but it was full a lot of the time we were there so our recommendation would be to only rent a small car that can fit behind the house or use Uber. We ended up walking to anywhere we wanted to go in Venice and used Uber / hired a private driver for anywhere else we went. As all houses in this area, the house is tall with many levels so there are a lot of stairs. Not an issue but something to be aware of if traveling with someone with mobility issues. Overall, we loved the house and enjoyed the location. We would definitely rent from this host again.

Very comfortable and beautiful home! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We arrived on our son’s birthday, and were greeted with a cake that our host graciously offered to pick up so that it would be waiting for us when we arrived late that evening! The house had everything needed for cooking, some fun board games, and lots of beach toys. We will be back!

perfect getaway

Great family getaway in an excellent house that has everything to offer for each person staying there. Our family loved the vacation and enjoyed this house as our base so we could partake in all the activities in the area. the Owner was very gracious in learning more about our party and making suggestions, to greeting us at the house when we arrived to show us around. Excellent safe neighborhood and the house is recently refurbished and is light and bright and very spacious. We recommend this to anyone looking for that Southern California getaway.

Right in the heart of Marina Del Rey

Beautiful Italian Villa the layout was perfect, I especially appreciated the TV room with the big flatscreen TV comfortable couches and to my great surprise came with the golf channel and all the NFL games. Master bedroom was magnificent bed was comfortable shower was huge, you could swim in the Jacuzzi tub the layout was beautiful you could have 10 people there or two people there everybody would have all the privacy they wanted the bedroom on the first floor with its own bathroom and private patio a really nice option for a large group. The deck on the top floor with an abundance of quality teak furniture great views, barbecue refrigerator, Grate seating for the entire group the second bedroom with the two beds and his own private bathroom and shower the kitchen had all the utensils everything you need was was there. And the location on a nice quiet street quiet neighborhood, yet a very short walk to the ocean to many really good restaurants, market ,shops everything you want in a quiet relaxing vacation in California. Can’t wait for a return trip

I'm am and engineer, a designer and own a real estate investment company. The WCI Group (West Coast Investment Group) based in Santa Monica. We have lived in the locally here for 21 years. But mostly I'm a dad, husband and coach for my sons youth football teams!

Why they chose this property

We are a little picky on who we rent to. We want to make sure the neighbors are not disturbed so we don't allow parties or loud renters. Its a fun area and a great street. We want to keep it this way. Please Send me a message and 99% of the time it works out!

What makes this property unique

This is one of the best beach houses you can rent. The location is very special. The ocean is on the west side of the house and the Venice Canals are on the east side of the house. So it has water on both sides of the house. The street it is on is one of the best street in all of Santa Monica, Venice and Marina Del Rey. It is clean, bright, quite with no traffic, yet it is close to the action with restaurants, shops and the start of the Venice boardwalk just 4 blocks away. The beach in front of the house is equally wonderful. It is wide enough with ample sand for sandcastle building, multiple volleyball courts ready for action, life guard towers to keep us safe, and a current that is safe but also great for boogie boarding!
