Woodlane House is located in Columbus, NC just a short 10 minute drive from Tryon International Equestrian Center. It has a spacious living / dining room, a kitchen (with natural-gas range, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator with ice-maker), a mud room (with access direct to the carport), a separate laundry room (with washer & dryer), two bathrooms (one with shower, one with tub / shower), and four bedrooms. Two of the cozy bedrooms have queen-size beds and the other two have full-size beds.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Check-in at Kangaroo Golf (next door to Woodlane House) during normal business hours (open M-F til 5pm ET).
If you are not checking-in during normal business hours you will need to call or email ahead so we discuss key pick-up.
When you check-out, leave the key on the inside table by the carport door then lock the bottom lock as you leave.

Great stay for a couple nights

GPS took us right to the property, check-in was easy-peasy, house was as described online, very clean and well-kept, fixtures and furnishings are dated/vintage but all functional and fine. Nice cool AC (summer stay).

Accurate listing

We needed to attend a function in Columbus and didn't want to drive 20 min or more to get to an acceptable hotel. This house was so convenient. The 4 bedrooms allowed everyone to have their own space. Beds are comfortable. The house is an older home so it is dated but had everything we needed. Also loved the carport so we never got wet loading and unloading our car.

Great Proximity to TIEC

The house worked okay for our group for three weeks of horse showing. It is an easy drive to TIEC. The house is very old, and the pictures do not show just how old the house is. The TV is tiny and of poor quality. The oven looks original. There is a poor selection of cooking utensils/pots/pans. There were mice in the house that kept us up a few nights. As long as I did not try to get a hold of the owner on the weekends, she was very responsive. I got no response over the weekends. The house is okay but not great.

house was older than i expected. we enjoyed our stay, this house worked well for our family of six. felt things were fairly clean, except for the mouse dirt i found where the towels are stored. also i felt there could have been more towels and washcloths for the amount of people that stayed there.

A great place for our group to stay

This quaint older home was quite spacious. Our group was in Columbus for a clogging competition at Polk County High School. This home was in the perfect location (less than a mile away) and also close to a couple of restaurants. The home provided plenty of parking and room for the five of us to spread out.

We were horseshowing at TIEC so didn’t stay or cook at the house very frequently other than to sleep. AC froze up the first day and was fixed the next day. Home could use larger more comfortable sofa other than that it suited our needs for the week and was close to the horse park.

The location of this property for TIEC was perfect.

From the house it was a 8 minute drive to Tryon. 3 minutes from Food Lion, CVS and a gas station. The house was configured so that everyone had plenty of privacy. When I had a small problem, Jessica was there that day to take care of everything. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot close to Tryon Equestrian

Property is just as described in photos. Set back off a main road (but we did not hear traffic noise) and there was plenty of parking away from the road. We stayed for two weeks to compete at the Tryon Equestrian complex and it was a quick and easy drive. Nice grocery store right down the road. Property Manager was very accommodating with schedule changes as dates were available (we added 2 days on front and 1 day on end).
