Again my stay in Spearfish was excellent! The cottage is unbeliveably clean and well furbished. Candace, the host, is very easy to communicate with and very accommodating.Hopefully in the future I will be able to plan another trip and stay at "Granny Flat".

Very cool little place to stay. Property was really neat. The only issue was the AC wasnt big enough so it was fairly warm inside. Otherwise I would recommend this place to anyone. The wood fireplace would be awesome in the winter.

Amazing! We are huge fans of Building Outside the Lines and of all who are in the series! It was exciting to see such a unique house in person having seen it on the show. All of the architectural details, not only in the house, but all of the surrounding structures is something that we enjoyed. Walking into the house, you are greeted with the unique adobe art element and open floor plan. Everywhere you look are special details. We slept well on the cozy bed! Thank you for opening up your home to us. We have many special memories from our time in South Dakota!

Unique Stay

What a unique stay! Close to town for dinner. Nice setting for the cold plunge pool, and the bed was comfortable. Enjoyed watching the deer while sitting by the fire.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. You would never have know you are in the middle of the town. I loved how the cabin was built and the compostable toilet. Some tips for others. Not a lot of kitchen items and they have tea pots and a coffee percolator but no tea or coffee so plan on bringing your own. And no spices not even salt and pepper. Just for the future guest just plan I had not but I still made it work. We got creative and made an outdoor space to enjoy our dinner. It is a pretty tranquil place would be nice to have an area where you can relax and enjoy nature. We did throughly enjoy our stay though.

It was a beautiful setting, and the limitations are what you would expect from an off the grid property. The property was stocked well with the usual amenities.

Great place to stay in the Black Hills

My wife and I stayed for four nights. The location is right in Spearfish but the acerage around the house makes it feel like you are out in the countryside. The house and prperty sre a lot of fun.
