COASTAL HAVEN is a charming home just a few short steps from the entrance of North Chesterman Beach. This home is surrounded by a half acre of coastal forest and a beautiful rhododendron garden. It has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, BBQ, private hot tub and an outdoor shower. Two of the bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the main floor and up a flight of stairs is the third bedroom. This is a loft style space with and ensuite and a sitting area to watch TV or to unwind with a book. There is also a laundry room on the main level with a washer and dryer, perfect for groups that stay for a longer visit!

After a surfing session or a long beach walk, a hot tub awaits. The kitchen will inspire your cooking or baking skills. The large dining table will be the central spot for everyone to gather and spend time together. Relax in the garden by the fire pit surrounded by cedar benches to experience starlit evenings. Enjoy post dinner board games, a quiet evening in the library or playing the piano. The acoustics in this room are awesome! Chesterman Beach is named one of the best beaches in Canada and a popular spot for locals and tourists alike! Nestled off the road you are close to the action and minutes from listening to the crashing waves

The Wickaninnish Inn, a short walk either by beach or by road, has a five star restaurant for any meal of the day. The beachside cafe is a lovely spot for morning coffee or visit the fabulous Ancient Cedars Spa which sits on the rocks at the edge of the Pacific Ocean.

Take a short drive or enjoy a leisurely 45 minute walk into the village of Tofino, where you will find world class restaurants, surf shops, boutiques and art galleries.

Host Rules:

Renter's Agreement: Guests must sign the Renter's Agreement to confirm their reservation.

Age Requirement: Guests must be 25 years or older to make a booking.

Guest Limit: In accordance with Tofino regulations, short-term rentals may not accommodate more than 6 guests, including infants and children.

Peak Summer Season (July and August): A 3-night minimum stay is required. All bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps. We do allow a 2-night stay only if there is a 2-night opening. If you receive a "host unavailable" message despite seeing availability, please contact us. Our booking system has specific rules and may require manual adjustments.

Canadian Statutory Holidays: A 3-night minimum stay applies for all Canadian statutory holidays (Must be Friday to Monday).

Discounted Rates: We offer discounted rates for month-long stays only during our low season (January-March 15).

Pet Policy: We are dog-friendly with a maximum of 2 dogs, subject to the owner's approval (sorry, no cats).

On-Site Tenant: A long-term tenant lives on-site in a separate caretaker suite, as required by Tofino Bylaws.

Quiet Hours: Strict 10 PM – 8 AM policy. Please respect our neighbors and the local community. Any noise complaints may be subject to additional fee's.

Cancellation Policy: We offer a 30-day cancellation policy. If you cancel with 30 days' notice, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made without the required notice will not be refunded. We do not move or adjust reservations within the 30-day notice period.

Accidental Damage Protection: Accidental Damage Protection is included in the total cost of your reservation—there is no additional fee after booking, as it is automatically applied at the time of purchase. This coverage protects against accidental damages up to $1,000 that may occur during your stay.
Please note: This protection does not apply to damages caused by parties, unauthorized events, or negligent behaviour. It is strictly intended for unintentional mishaps that may happen while you're staying in the home.
