We had a great stay. Just as advertised. It was a little chilly and we enjoyed the fireplace and the ample wood supply. The house was also supplied with all the necessities. The back deck was great.
Perfect place to stay for Timberline! Very clean and well equipped. Cozy setting, comfortable rooms. We also felt very safe here. Will book again, if available, in the future!
Great place for long weekend vacation. The townhouse was cozy and comfortable. Location was perfect for areas we visited. Host was quick to respond although wifi on mountains is nowhere to be found!! Definitely would stay again!
Kitchen is fully equipped. Plenty of sitting space and room for dinner. It is a beautiful place. It was very nice and clean. We were there for a work training and the wind down space after a long day of training was amazing.
Very easy to locate and easy to check in. Everything was excellent. Not a perfect score in cleanliness only was given specially for the bathrooms.

It was great hosting you, Christina! Sorry to hear the bathrooms were not up to par. I suspect it may be due to the permanently stained toilets from the water quality in the area. We’re planning to replace the toilets soon, so hoping we can have you back and earn perfect marks soon!
Nice condo in a great location, property complex has lots of options for adults and kids outside, fishing, basketball, volleyball, playground. Centrally located from great fishing, site seeing, and food. Had a great weekend! House cleaners could do a better job but nothing grossly wrong.
David is an incredible host! We cannot thank him enough for hosting us for a week! Everything was just as described in the listing. The rooms were comfortable and the layout was perfect for our family. David was extremely receptive to all communication and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time in Canaan. We will definitely be back! *Don’t forget your fishing poles! Our 6yo son caught a huge bass, and two huge trout!
We had the best time at Timberline and Canaan! This condo is conveniently located and suited our group of teens and adults perfectly. It had plenty of towels (and hot water!) and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Thanks for the extra blankets and for the cozy touches that make the space feel like home.
Nice clean property that is close to T-line and Canaan Valley. Be sure to read the directions to get there, my google maps gave me some confusing directions towards the end. If you read the directions you won't have any issues.
This gem is close to the Appalachian highway but nestled amongst trees shading the back deck. I woke to horses in the adjacent field whinnying. Beautiful kitchen. Nice open floor plan that opens to dining and living. Lovely rooms upstairs. The bed I slept in was quite comfy. The complex has a heated pool, a volleyball court, a fire pit, a basketball court, a tennis court, a horseshoe pit and a catch and release pond with gazebo. Close to Timberline and Canaan and only about 10 minutes from Davis.
The unit was in a nice community and the interior of the house was fine. Communication with the owner was very quick and responsive. It had everything necessary though there was no air conditioning for our hot July visit. My fault for not checking or considering that it wouldn't have AC. Ceiling and standing fans were provided. The back deck funishings were rough and minimal, especially considering we were sitting out trying to stay cool.

Thanks Karen! It was a pleasure hosting you and hope we can have you back to earn that fifth star. Your feedback is heard and we've ordered new patio furniture and will have A/C installed by next summer.
Nice place. Very spacious and close to timberline. They had plenty of wood available, but would recommend have some kindling or hatchet available to split. Also, directions should be listed as Deerfield village not circle as it wasn’t clear in directions or map on Vrbo.We would gladly stay again and communication was excellent. Condo has everything you need to cook and have a wonderful weekend.106 Deerfield Village, Davis, WV 26260

Comfortable stay, disappointed with lack of essentials provided
We had an overall nice stay. Great location for skiing at both Canaan and Timberline mountains. When we arrived, we noticed that a main living room window was missing, with only plastic covering the hole. Notice of this from the host would have been appreciated. The fireplace and ample firewood provided were nice and helped with keeping the main floor heated during the snow and single-digit temperatures during our stay with a missing window. We were disappointed with the lack of essential items, such as toilet paper and paper towels. I own a rental property, so I guess I am just used to being more generous with such items for guests. I've never been to a rental that we had to go out of our way to purchase these kinds of essentials because we ran out. Additionally, we enjoyed cooking meals, but were disappointed in the quality of the rusted pots and pans. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, although I think new pillows that are fuller and unstained underneath would be appreciated by guests. We were appreciative of the space at this price point and enjoyed our time overall.

Hi Dallas - really appreciate the feedback. As we discussed over the app, the window is not missing, rather the weather stripping has deteriorated so while we are waiting for the replacement, we did our best to seal the window with plastic to eliminate the draft for our guest's comfort. Apologies for failing to mention this before check in.
Also, this is the first we're hearing of the need to refresh the pillows or the pots and pans and we will address this immediately. The pots and pans are tri-ply stainless with ceramic coated and are only a year old, but if they need replacing, we certainly will!
Thank you for the feedback, and we look forward to hopefully earning those two missing stars from you on a future stay after these issues are resolved :)

I have been staying at various units at Deerfield Village since it opened. We had the most issues with this property. Two of the 3 toilet seats in the bathrooms were broken, the blinds fell on me when trying to adjust them, the oven handle and entire glass face of the oven popped off while cooking, and the handle on the downstairs toilet broke and was unable to be flushed without opening the tank. There was no dish soap or dish cloths to hand wash dishes and only 3 pods for the dishwasher. There was no extra toilet paper, we had to purchase some on our 1st day of stay. We didnt have enough trash bags to last our stay. The supplies were all rationed to 3 each of trash bags, dishwasher pods, and laundry pods for our 5 day, 4 night stay. There was trash on the back porch and burnt wood and ash left on the grill. It really seemed like it was one aggravation after another. The host was responsive when we reached out, but offered no solutions for us. He did say the issues would be addressed for subsequent guests. The place was clean and accommodating otherwise.
