I live in London, England from a young age. I have been spending lots of precious time in Jamaica where I was born.
I first visited Duncans Bay in 1999 with my 2 children and we were walking along a lane which has some quaint cottages and directly in front I could see the ocean appearing through branches of almond trees which lined the banks in front of the beach. It was such a beautiful sight.
The cottage is surrounded by a beautiful garden with tropical plants. A mango tree with long limbs spreads across the garden which is ideal shade to relax with a book.
The living room opens out onto a patio area which makes it light and airy. All the bedrooms have louver windows bringing in fresh sea breeze into the rooms.
There is a green lawn area that stretches along the beach with many trees for shades. This area is great for children to play. My children love this green park area along the beach to play on when they were young and they now bring their children to play there.
This area is ideal connection to many attractions and Montego Bay Airport is just 45 minutes drive.

I love the idea of strolling to the beach early mornings with a cup of coffee and take in the views and if energetic go for a swim.
The neighbourhood is a seaside village, flushed with greenery, unspoilt, and most days it can be very quiet except for some weekends it can get busy with visiting guests and local families. The beach is good for sun bathers, swimmers, snorkelling, fishing. Swimming though is restricted to particular areas. The beach stretches a long way so it’s great for those who like walking. The adjoining beach is the fishermen’s beach and there are two restaurants/bars some craft kiosks along that beach.
GETTING AROUND
from the villa a short walk to the Taxi Stop. All taxis from this stop will take you to Duncans Town in less than 5 minutes. Here you can get local taxis which will connect you to most places. Please be careful not to travel alone at nights. If you are a group of 3 or more it is best and much cheaper to charter a taxi to take you where you want to go.
MontegoBay and Ocho Rios are approximately 45 /50 minutes by transport.

A cook is available at the premises to cook breakfast and dinner only, if required, and her services are included in the price. Meals are cooked daily, (but not on Sundays) only on special request and for those arriving on a Sunday)
guests will choose their menu and is responsible for the cost of the grocery. We encourage guests to either bring in groceries or they can shop at the local supermarket.

Shops, supermarkets, fruit and food stalls, convenient store, churches, a restaurant, Pharmacy, and a taxi rank are local and nearby.
