Beautiful oceanfront home with front row views. The best views on Maui with incredible sunsets from the Lanai (balcony). Upgraded unit with granite counter tops and glass back splash. This air-conditioned unit features a cal-king bed in the bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa and TV in the living room. The ocean waves create a symphony of sounds. This is one of those units you will want to visit over and over again. Book now and for the future. The resort is one of the finest on Maui. Want a quick night cocktail or dinner? The on-site boutique restaurant is a great place to relax after a day soaking up rays. On-site activity desk is ready to schedule your every desire while on your trip or to rent you a stand-up paddle board. Luaus are recommended to be booked prior to travel. Sugar beach is located on the longest beach in Maui. Morning strolls along the beach are common for many in the area. Sugar Beach resort is complete with a large swimming pool, hot tub, putting greens, barbeque, restaurant, activity desk, massage parlor, real estate office, and formal ware clothing store. Nearby the Maui Ocean center and all that Maalaea has to offer is just a 4-mile drive. This Kihei location is also close to all Kihei, Wailea and Makena have to offer. One of the few beachfront condos in South Maui. Less than 20 minutes to the airport.

The unit is well stocked with kitchen ware and appliances, we also provide:
- beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, sorry no snorkeling gear,
- a toiletries starter kit sufficient for short stay,
- a starter kit of laundry soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and kitchen cleaning supplies,
- drip coffeemaker and some coffee to get the trip started
- linens, towels, etc.

Totally enjoyed our stay!

Location especially was amazing and condo was very comfortable. Our only complaint was kitchen supplies were very limited, such as no dishcloth, one dish towel, and other non food supplies were lacking.

Oceanside paradise

This property is ideal for listening to the ocean waves crash and watching the most beautiful Maui sunsets. Being on Sugar beach provides amazing morning long walks in the surf. I couldn’t recommend this lovely property more!

I can’t say enough good things about this property. Clean, quiet, and the view cannot be beat. A very short walk to the private beach was perfect and easy to access. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a laid back location with the best view available.

We booked this place for the view, and the view did not disappoint. Centrally located, it made getting around the island very easy. Super close to the airport too. Bed was not comfortable, but I like a firm mattress. Would 100% stay again and recommend.

Great location.

Loved the location and the view. The only complaint was the mattress. It is well past its prime and needs to be replaced. Also, it would be appreciated if the cleaning people left at least one spare roll of toilet paper.

We have stayed at Sugar Beach 3 times and find the facilities adequate for our needs. They always have parking and it is centrally located. The shower could use a good scrubbing. Stove knob was broken off, but the ice maker did a great job. The front door automatically locks to quickly only allowing one person out of the door at a time.

We loved everything about this property EXCEPT the bed! It sagged badly and disrupted our sleep badly! We would stay here again IF the bed was replaced.

This condo is awesome. We loved everything about this place: the location, the view from the unit is amazing (whales, turtles and other marine activity right from the balcony), the kitchen has everything you’ll need, the beach is right there, pool area is perfect, the communication ahead of time was awesome and on and on. Thankfully, a prior comment let us know about the light that infiltrates the bedroom at night so we brought sleep masks to cover our eyes which worked ok. That is the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars.

Nanas maui

We had a wonderful time at Sugar Beach Resort. My wife and I used to travel to Molly for the last 25 years of her life. It was her favorite place to go. I took my three daughters my daughter-in-law and my two granddaughters to go and see what we used to do. When they first walked in to the condo they came to me and said wow it's right there! I think I'm in heaven. The lanai has a wonderful View of the ocean and you can hear you're the waves as they lap on the shore. The condo was so cozy and the decor was perfect for our gatherings to discuss the adventures of the day each night. God willing my family will be back. Aloha

Amazing Location

How can you go wrong with waterfront ? The location is top notch. Breakfast and Coffee on the lanai, centrally located to get to anywhere on island for food and fun, the best sunsets, all the supplies you need to prepare meals, great grills - beach chairs - just a stellar location. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your space! Only complaint is that the bed is DREADFUL - and needs to be changed ASAP. Huge cavern in the mattress - very uncomfortable (the rating does not reflect this concern but I did email the agency directly about it and the slow draining bathroom sink).

Overall it was a nice visit and experience. The icemaker never did work eventhough the maintenance worker tried. There were other issues that required attention such as light bulbs and a balcony door handle. That said it was a nice condo with a great view.

The view is spectacular and the sunsets even better! It was wonderful having our meals on the balcony! The kitchen is equipped well, but we had to purchase a can opener, which we left for others to use. We also purchased salt, steak seasoning and some condiments, which we left for others to use as well. The place isn't fancy (a huge stain was in the carpet when we arrived), but it was clean and comfortable. My husband found the bed too soft but I slept like a baby! It was definitely worth every penny we spent on renting it for a week and would recommend it to anyone looking for a spot with a grand view of the ocean! Loved Dina's Restaurant on the grounds- food there is so good and we recommend the potato soup! Thank you for the use of the beach towels!! Your place helped make our 5th wedding anniversary one to remember!

A great stay!

We’d happily stay in this condo again! Great views from the lanai, and wonderful access to a beautiful beach right out front. The condo was well stocked with kitchen stuff, a washer and dryer, and with beach towels & chairs, etc. The place was clean and comfortable. A few drawbacks: as others have mentioned, the ice maker wasn’t working. Since this has apparently gone on for a while, a few ice cube trays would be nice! Also, as others mentioned, the bed sags and this is uncomfortable. Finally, if you’re a light-sensitive sleeper, be aware that in the windows along the back of the bedroom, light leaks in all night from the exterior lights. We stayed 5 nights in late April/early May 2023, and if we’re ever in Maui again, we’d definitely book this condo again.

Location is the best part

The location is fantastic and the view was amazing. The unit itself is a bit shabby and not clean. Our first night we discovered the sheets had not been changed, evidenced by slept-in wrinkles and body hair. Since it was after hours, we ended up stripping the bed ourselves and washing the sheets. The bed is very old and has large divots from a lot of wear. The shower is grubby, the carpet had clearly not been shampooed in ages, and there’s a general buildup of grime in every corner. If you want a beachfront location with convenient access to all Maui has to offer and are not so concerned about where you lay your head, this is a good option. If you’re hoping for more luxurious (or even clean) surroundings, keep looking.

Sugar Beach Blues

Unit is in need of an update badly. Bed needs to be replaced. Bed lines's and blanket needs to be update. They are of poor quality. Bathroom shower and sink, old looking. Fan in shower sounds like a car with a bad muffler. Living room carpet need to be replace. Ice making not working. Called first day. Never fixed. Balcony carpet dirty/moldy, Balcony furniture pads need to be replaced. Curtains stained, and need to be replaced. Living room furniture needs to be replaced. If your looking for a bargain place to stay, and are not looking for a nice place. This will do. We tried to upgrade to a nicer place when we walked in, but everything was rented already. Pool and hot tub were in good shape. Beach erosion was pretty bad.

An upset guest who wanted a discount and didn't get one. The unit is exactly as pictured. The beach is not eroded, in fact it's one of the best on Maui. Linens, blanket, and towels get replaced every with new ones every few weeks. Unit is cleaned and inspected between every stay.

The overall building property is well kept, clean and quiet. This one in particular has some peculiarities about it like the mirror wall. At first it surprised the two of us to see someone there when we walked in the first time which we both had a laugh at and quickly got used to it and was not a big deal. The a\c works well but is a bit loud but is quiet enough in the bedroom so it didn't bother our sleep. The sink and shower are both small and feel a little cramped but for a few days it's no bother. The kitchen was well equipped with plates, cups and whatever utensils you might need. One thing I found bothersome was the lighting outside the bedroom. The bedroom curtain is two layered with one being a blackout type. The problem is that it doesn't fit into the window but rather hangs a couple inches from the wall causing light to leak in, what this did to me was to make me think it was early morning any time my eyes opened at night. I found that to be quite bothersome. Other than that this is a very nice place. The sunset views were awesome and worth the price of admission. There were plenty of places to shop for whatever you wanted within a short drive. Overall the apartment is nice with good access to the local community
