Charming and cozy getaway on 14 private acres in the Pennsylvania Wilds with all the comforts of home. 3 large bedrooms and 2.5 modern baths, a large family room with the most comfortable couch in the world, a dining area with views of a private pond and forested mountains, and a wraparound deck. Idyllic setting with woodlands and a private pond stocked with largemouth bass, excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing, and stunning night skies, plus modern amenities. Fully stocked modern kitchen, large capacity washer and dryer, internet with WiFi, satellite TV, ecologically sensitive heat and a/c. The house has a Ring doorbell in case you have any trouble getting in and have no cell reception—just ring the doorbell and we can help! The A-frame is close to Cherry Springs, Sinnemahoning, Ole Bull, Prouty Place, and Lyman Run State Parks and Susquehannock State Forest. It is also near ATV and snowmobile trails, and convenient to the UPMC Cole Hospital and the amenities of Coudersport.

Beautiful home in a beautiful secluded setting with pond and hungry fish. Immaculately clean and beautifully theme-decorated. Plenty of outdoor seating on a spacious outdoor deck overlooking the valley. Perfect for viewing the night sky and the Milky Way in a very dark, lightless location. Herb gardens were an added bonus to enhance dinner flavor. Comfortable beds. Great communication with hosts. Perfect for a quick mountain getaway. We will return.

Beautiful house. Photographs dont really do it justice. We didnt have great weather to start but still really enjoy the beginning of our stay. Noelle was very responsive and everything in the house has labels to help you throughout your stay. Clear skies on the final night and the view was incredible. My son (8) loved the card and board games and feeding the fish. Would love to stay again.

We had an amazing family trip! My kids, my wife, and my mom loved every moment. We enjoyed feeding the fish, spending time by the lake, and the incredible star views at night. The house was beautiful, peaceful, and felt very safe. Noelle was a fantastic host with great communication. Highly recommend! If you're looking for an amazing getaway, definitely book at the A Frame you won't regret it!

The A-frame is a beautiful home in a peaceful setting. I honestly can't say anything negative. The house was so clean, the kitchen well stocked, the beds were comfy, so many special touches throughout ... the online photos don't do it justice! We spent time on the deck, time around the fire, walked the property and fed the fish. Our dog, Esme, had a blast!!! I had a few questions for Noelle and Jonathan prior to check in and they responded very quickly with detailed/helpful info, not just a brief, one line 'here's your answer', definitely premier hosts. I hope to be able to stay at the A-frame again next year!

I’m not sure where to even start. We are astrophotographers, and it was my first time seeing the Milky Way with my naked eye and it was the most incredible experience. This house is perfect, the view of the sky is perfect, and the communication with the owners was flawless. I wish I could give this property a higher rating. Hands down, one of the best trips in my life. If you’re looking for a spot with amazing views of the night sky, this is your place. The house was super clean, everything is well marked, and the beds were comfortable. Thank you Noelle!

I traveled with my parents and brother with special needs to celebrate my parents' landmark birthdays this year. The hosts were really accommodating for my family's specific needs and communicative about changes in their procedures for check-in and check-out. The property itself is BEAUTIFUL and we were able to enjoy the pond with the fish (my dad's highlight) and seeing the Milky Way from the deck (the first time for both parents!). It was easy to get to and from Cherry Springs. We didn't have any trouble in our minivan. The little frames with instructions and the little labels for all of the light switches are hilarious and cute and very real. The little drawings are fantastic! And I love the culture of the digital frame! Thanks so much for having us!

Very cool property if you are looking for something in the middle of nowhere. The road to get to the property is long and winding and not much fun for a minivan so be prepared for that. Unfortunately had to cut our stay short.

The property was beautiful, as advertised. The large pond was well stocked for some light fishing. Star gazing right from the property was possible although a nearly full moon washed out the dark sky. Cherry springs state park was a short 12 minute drive away, but pets are not allowed. The property was well stocked with amenities. Bring a full size coffee maker if you are a coffee drinker. If you want to experience the sounds of silence and have a relaxing day in a hammock, this place is for you. We only had three adults and a small dog, but the A-frame could easily accommodate 6. Excellent hosts. We will definitely consider visiting again.

Great place to stay with a great view of the stars and a few restaurants close by. We were on Motorcycles, and it sure was fun getting there!

Beautiful property. Very private and lots of land with great view. Loved sitting out on the deck and enjoying the surroundings. It’s a great place for stargazing. Added bonus: The beds are really comfortable with high quality pillows.

The A Frame is a Relaxers Paradise! The house is gorgeous and absolutely spotless( thank you Janet and Noelle ), and the grounds are beautiful. Everything you need is provided, just come, kick back, respect the home and property and have a wonderful time

We wanted a place to escape to enjoy solitude and communion with nature. We enjoy wildlife, and the property teems with all manner of wild visitors. We enjoy mountains and water, and love that the house is nestled in the midst of forest, with a private pond and a stream passing through it. We also love the incredible views of the night sky that are available by either a short and easy drive to Cherry Springs State Park, or by taking a glass of your favorite beverage onto the expansive balcony and looking up.
Finally, while we wanted to be in the midst of nature, it comforts us to know that all the trappings of civilization are just a few minutes’ drive away on paved and well-tended roads.

A stay at the house is an opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, whether it’s a hike in the woods, fishing in your private pond (or just feeding the fish), or watching the deer, turkeys, foxes, and maybe bears and elk that happen by looking for a bite to eat and a cool drink. It’s an opportunity to gaze at the night sky the way it appeared to our ancestors, before the modern world’s light pollution made most of the stars impossible to see in most places.

And at the end of the day, it’s an opportunity to take a hot shower and climb into a comfortable bed with high thread count all-cotton sheets.
It’s the best of nature coupled with the comforts of a modern, updated home.
