Amazing wedding weekend!!

I rented this house for my adult children and baby grandchild to stay for the week to attend a family wedding. The place was immaculate and clean. The host is super responsive. The location is A+ and right on the water. Thank you for the amazing stay and hospitality!!

Nice second visit!

We love this lake -- friends used to own a house on it. This was out second September stay at the cottage, and it was delightful once more. Great little house in a fantastic location; easy access to Lake Geneva, Kenosha, and hidden gems like Northwind Perennial Farm.

Cute house, great view of the lake

Wonderful Sunsets is a good name for this place. Watching the sun set over the lake from the patio or porch is so relaxing! This cute home has three bedrooms with comfy beds and a nice clean kitchen for making snacks and meals. Owner Sue is a wonderful host. We've been here before and will come back again.

Bohners Lake

I came to this lake as a little boy and some of my happiest childhood memories we’re here. Renting at this lake gave me an opportunity to give my grandchildren some memories for them to cherish. The week could not have gone better. The house was clean, well supplied and Sue is a great host.

Delightful and Serene

We’ll definitely be back next year and are already looking at dates! Sue is a lovely person; very helpful and kind. We’re fortunate to have stayed at many Vrbo’s over the years and Sue’s home is one of the most beautiful – she’s included every comfort with thoughtful details and a delightful beach resort style; such a pleasure to be in this welcoming home. From the well-equipped kitchen and comfy beds to the beautiful dishes and great linens, we felt well taken care of and pampered! The area is quiet and some of our favorite moments were having morning coffee outside, enjoying the serene lake, heavenly. The kayaks were really fun too. Thank you Sue!

I was not sure what to expect from this property but it exceeded any expectation. It was bigger and nicer than I was expecting. Very lovely decor. Big kitchen with a table that sat 9 when we had our local relatives over for dinner. My son was able to cook a 3 layer cake in the over. It only has 1 bathroom, but we knew that. 2 lovely queen bedrooms and 1 bunkbed bedroom (with possibly an additional daybed, I didn't explore too much. 2 family rooms and 1 back porch. Far exceeded my expectations. Not sure how I got it for the price I did.

HIDDEN GEM!

We have been "Lake House Weekend" renting in the south-eastern quadrant of Wisconsin for 15+ years. Every trip we do a different location, house, lake. This location, lake, and house is by far one of the best we have ever been to! You will not be disappointed! The location is amazing. Everything we wanted or needed is within 10 minutes. House is perfect for a smaller group. And if you like lakes, this lake is a hidden gem! Somehow in all these years we have never been or found this lake. It is a great swimming and boating lake. Looked like and heard from the neighbors that the fishing is good too. Water is clean and clear off of the dock, sand bottom and no muck!... Don't believe me, read your bathymetric maps! Or better yet, see for yourself! House is even better than the pictures show and a lot more roomy than it seems. Everything was extremely clean and well kept up, everything you need is there and if you have any questions, Sue is lightning fast on responding to you. You cannot go wrong! Thanks Sue! B.F.D. Gang

Great Stay!

We just got back from this property and it was great! We got lucky getting in here for the long 4th of July weekend after someone else cancelled. The house is even better and bigger than the pictures describe and very clean. It is located in a very peaceful neighborhood. The view of the lake from the back porch and patio are beautiful! There were 2 kayaks and a paddle boat for us to use. My husband caught a few small fish in this lake. We brought our own floats to use in the water and it was so relaxing. The water is very clear and is not mucky on the bottom but does have some seaweed floating around but didn't bother us. There is no sand by the beach. There is a separate small "beach area" you can use down the way a little and if you have your own boat/wave runner you can bring also. Sue was a pleasure to work with. She recommended a place for great burgers and hand cut fries called Fred's right in Burlington that we tried. Definitely go there! We were 15 minutes from downtown Lake Geneva which was great to walk around with many restaurants, shops, clothing stores, boats and just a great vibe to get out a little especially in the evening. While in Lake Geneva definitely take the walking path around the lake to view the million dollar estates....you will literally be in the backyards of these homes and they are spectacular!! In Lake Geneva we ate at Oak Fire restaurant which was just ok and also Sopra which was pretty good. We would love to visit here again!!

Wonderful quiet, vacation get away

I stayed at this wonderful lake house in Sept 2022 with 2 of my friends. We loved the décor and each of us having our own bedroom. We brought firewood and enjoyed sitting around the bonfire both nights. It is a beautiful lake and very quiet and peaceful. We had a great time and would return in the future.

Cozy get away right on the lake

Plenty of space for 5 guests, the shared living areas were very comfy. We spent a lot of time on the back lawn overlooking the lake. With enough furniture options to sit in the water or on the lawn in the shade or sun. Happily surprised to know there were two kayaks to use, too.

Wonderful location and beautiful cottage

This was a beautiful cottage to stay at while we were visiting family in Burlington, WI. It is located right on the lake and has two kayaks to use while you are staying there. The lake wasn't too busy while we were there and the water is actually pretty clear. We tried to do a little fishing, but that is kind of hard when you are on kayaks. Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet little get away with friends or family. Thanks!! We will definitely think about staying here again when we come back to visit family.
