Not exactly accurate…safety issue in bathroom

The property is tuck away behind a restaurant. There are no windows on the first floor at all. Makes you feel as though you’re in a basement. Also…made me feel a little unsafe if there were ever a fire or emergency. There is an upstairs area that seems like you are in a greenhouse with a couple windows, but are just a roof. My biggest concern is the bathroom. The flooring is very dangerous! It is just tile with no traction or any non-slip surface. My father fell in the shower. I contacted the property manager and they completely ignored my concerns about the shower. The listing also states 3 toilets. Make sure you understand there is only 1 bathroom and then another very small toilet off the bathroom. We did know this before going only because I asked after seeing pictures showing only 2 toilets. It was supposed to be corrected. The pictures are also deceiving. They show 2 different tables…there is only one. The couch is not the same. It is not leather. Ok for seating, but not as large and comfy as the picture seemed. Beds were comfortable, but again, no windows and feel very enclosed. Closets are great. I was also annoyed because I wanted a little heat and didn’t understand how to work it. I texted property manager and they told me to turn it on!?!? Seriously? I’m not an idiot. It had several functions and everything I tried didn’t work. They didn’t seem to care to share instructions with me. They had no info in the property on how to use anything or check out policies

You only left this comment because we refused to refund you after your stay! Our apartment fully matches the description provided on VRBO. All information is accurate and verified, as evidenced by previous reviews from our guests, who generally enjoyed their stay. Bathroom Safety Regarding bathroom security, we have not received any communication from you reporting a problem during your stay. We would have immediately taken action to resolve any dangerous situation. We added a non-slip surface to the bathroom to improve safety, so we don't understand how this could have happened given the safety measures in place. Location and layout of the apartment The apartment is actually located on the ground floor, and this information is mentioned in the description. There are windows on the upper floor which provide natural light. Number of toilets The listing mentions 2 toilets, but we have clarified this information following your prior request. Heating and instructions We also regret that you encountered difficulties with the heating and that our explanations were not clear enough, despite having received all the necessary information before your arrival.

Overall the stay was fantastic. We were initially concerned because the entry way to the apartment was a little sketchy but were pleasantly surprised once inside. There was plenty of room and it was in a fantastic location with nearby metro stops. Only complaint was the difficulty finding parking. We were able to find a garage but it was a 15 min walk away with all our bags. All in all, that was a minor complaint in an overall great property.
