We spent my father-in-law's birthday in Maine, and this house was absolutely perfect. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon over the summer and wanted more of our family to experience this house's serene beauty. The house is incredibly clean and cozy and has beautiful views. Samantha was an amazing host who communicated wonderfully when needed throughout our stay. We are planning on staying here again!
Wonderful stay in Cushing. The home was as described, with a master bedroom upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs with a bathroom on the main level. The house looks over a working lobster dock which provides endless entertainment to watch. You can also purchase lobster right off of the dock. The house does not have air conditioning and has minimal fans. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need ( as well as two grills). The sauna was a big hit and easy to use! The only issue we had was there was no soap or shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms and the host did not respond when we texted them about it (we purchased for ourselves). A great stay and highly recommend.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the home and your stay! I am very sorry for not responding, but I never received any message :( We don't typically provide all of that as we've found people usually like to have their own brands they prefer and bring, but I certainly take guest satisfaction very serious and most definitely would have replied quickly and accommodated any needs you had during your stay had I known so I do apologize for whatever happened in the message not going through. Thank you for your review and recommendation though, I appreciate it and we'd love to welcome you back again anytime, as well!
This was the perfect spot for a Thanksgiving get-a-way with my family. The property was just as described and the views were magnificent…I only wish we had warmer weather to spend more time on the deck. The furnace stopped working towards the end of our stay, but it was fixed VERY quickly…the communication could not have been better.
Overlooking a working lobster pier and the beautiful Maine coastline, the house had everything we needed and was in great condition. Sami the house manager was a pleasure to work with and very responsive.
This property was just what we were looking for. The sauna is amazing! Everything was very clean. The view of the harbor is beautiful. We are already planning another trip. Archers on the pier restaurant has great food and only about 20 min away. Thanks Samantha for as wonderful experience!!
The location is stunning--right on the water and next to the Olson House where Andrew Wyeth did much of his painting. The house itself was impeccable and thoughtfully outfitted with super comfortable furniture and beds. The sauna was a wonderful way to relax after long days exploring the area. The well-appointed kitchen was the best I've ever encountered in a vacation rental. Overall, a very special place that we hope to book again in the future!
This property was everything we were hoping for and more. The location is secluded and quiet and offers amazing water views. The house was newly renovated and very comfortable. It’s right next to a lobster wharf where you can purchase your own fresh lobster, which we took advantage of. We enjoyed grilling almost every night (except when we made lobsters in the giant cooking pot they provided). We had 2 people working remotely during the week, and the WiFi was strong enough to support all of our needs. The property manager was very kind and extremely responsive. Five stars - would definitely stay again!
