It's a 3 bedroom 2 bath brick home With pool, pool table, outside kitchen, a small put put corse and veranda. Wonderful and relaxing.
Beautiful lake view boat dock and fishing. Breathtaking sun rises and moon rises

Our property is situated on the main channel of Lake Wateree near the state park. We live on the premise to take care of maintenance of pool, grounds, and any other thing that might have a problem or break. We love having you visit and hope you will enjoy your vacation. We try very hard to keep our distance from our guests unless otherwise invited.

We also offer food delivery and stock the fridge service. Please look over our menu.

Loved loved loved it!!! My sisters and I went on a girls trip with our 89 year old mother. It was the perfect place for us, so much so that we didn’t even leave the house - not one time! Hope and Marty are lovely hosts! We would go back here in a heartbeat!

Our family had a wonderful experience at Lake Wateree. The house was clean and had everything we needed. One of the features we enjoyed most was DocksideDivaDarlings! Theresa stocked the fridge for us and made delicious meals for our family of 5 (big eaters)! Hope was very responsive and kind. She answered every question quickly and even allowed us to have a delivery sent to the home (dorm move in) to ease our 800 mile drive! Thanks Mary and Hope.

Absolutely Outstanding In Every Way!!!

This house is simply incredible in every way! Hope and Marty absolutely know what they're doing with a rental property and are delightfully wonderful people to get to know! I would highly recommend renting this property from Hope & Marty with 5-Star ratings in every single category! We would have zero hesitation is renting this property again!

Wonderful extended weekend getaway

Such beautiful scenery! Sitting on the porch with morning coffee overlooking the lake made a perfect relaxing morning. Home was everything we needed and expected based on description. We had 7 guest and plenty of room for everyone. Owners were super friendly and made everyone feel welcome. You look forward to another trip in the fall.

Amazing Property

Hope and Marty were the perfect hosts! They’ve thought of everything to make this property the perfect home away from home. We celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday just the way he wanted; in a private swimming pool, lakeside, with breath breathtaking views and total relaxation. The private dining experience was the cherry on top! Absolutely delicious food and an elevated way to celebrate such a milestone. We thoroughly enjoyed sharing cocktails on the back porch with our hosts and look forward to booking again in the future. Top notch!

Amazing relaxation

This place is perfect if you want to get away and not be around people. The neighbors are amazing, and there's also a wonderful chef that's right nearby that will provide food and even shop for you. This is the first place that we absolutely going back to. If you want a relaxing place, beautiful views, and good people, this is the place to go

Relaxing Lakehouse

Our family had a wonderful, quiet and relaxing time in the lake house. The lake house has all this amenities to make our stay comfortable and fun. The hosts, especially Marty, are very welcoming. We had a small BBQ party with few families came over to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Everyone adored the lake view from the property. My kids enjoyed the pool while hubby enjoyed fishing. We will definitely plan to come back here. Thank you Hope and Marty.

Family Vacation

This vacation was one of the best times my family and I have had. We got to enjoy a beautiful lake house with tons of things to do at the place. Hope and Marty were wonderful hosts and the neighbors near the property were a very fun time to hang with after we met some of them. If I could give 10 stars I would. I will be back as my daughter and granddaughter live an hour from this property so it gave us a great place to vacation and be able to spend quality time together.

Best Lake vacation spot ever!!!!

This house had everything we could ever need The views were amazing the pool was perfect. The outside kitchen we so enjoyed the amenities pool table putt putt horseshoes outside rv sitting area Great fully stocked house all we needed was food . The owners brought us fresh vegetables outta their garden they cleaned the pool every morning. Such nice people. Plenty of parking We will be back .. we have been renting vacation homes on this lake for 25 years and This is our New Favorite spot!!!

The bathtub and sinks in master bath were not clean and the counters in kitchen needed wiped down.

It was beautiful but no instructions on how to work TV's or where to find anything.. couldn't find bean bags for cornhole and there was no kayak which was lusted

great family getaway

This was our 1st family getaway since Covid and I have to say, it was wonderful. The pictures of the house online do NOT give it justice. It is really pretty inside, very clean and absolutely has all your needs. The pool was truly awesome and very large. We enjoyed it tremendously. The guys enjoyed fishing morning, afternoon and late into the evening. There was something for everyone. Hope and Marty are nearby but never once intruded except to bring some yummy veggies from their garden, Very welcome treat! We will definitely put this house on our list for another possible vacation getaway.

Great Clean Place On the Lake

This was a very relaxing vacation. There was no pollution, and also no noise pollution. The night sky was so very clear, it was amazing just to look up at the sky at night. The lake was very nice and clam. We had an 180 degree view of the lake from the pool/back of the house/backyard. The house was very well equipped and well stocked with all the necessary amenities. House was very clean. Jetski(s) and pontoon boat(s) are available for rental at wateree marina (in Camden, SC), remember to book ahead since they sell out during the summer/school holiday season. Overall we had a great time, kids had fun in the lake. Did I say relaxing !!!

Peaceful and pleasant getaway.

We had a very pleasant time at this home. The house was clean and welcoming and the outside deck, games and pool were nice as well. The owners were very helpful and friendly and the area was peaceful and private. They do have little dogs but kept them mostly quiet during our stay. Bring your own groceries! There is not much in the way of shopping in the immediate area. There is a convenience store/gas station/bait shop where you can pick up a few essentials and a pizza or two. There are also a couple of restaurants. Lake Wateree State Park is right down the road for hiking, swimming, boating, fishing and camping. The State Park also has a convenience store with drinks/toys/ice cream/essentials. Most of the nearby-ish excitement is in Columbia, where we visited the Riverbanks Zoo. It's just under an hour drive from the house.

Peaceful Bliss

My family and i had a wonderful stay. Off the beaten path for sure, which is what we wanted. Goes without saying the backyard including the outdoor living room, pool table, kitchen, POOL, deck, grill, etc etc was where we speant pretty much all our time. Lake view was amazing. Got to go kayaking, fishing right off the dock, and saw lots of wildlife. Neighbors we briefly met were super friendly and so were Hope and Marty. We didnt get to mingle with them as much as others did unfortunately. Some some things of note for future guests: closest grocery store is a minimum of 20 minutes away, along with any local town. If you plan to use their kayaks - i would recommend bring your own life jackets. They had a some there but were are for sure for smaller adults (lets just say im a big guy). And - in case it mattera, no tv's in the bedrooms, not that we needed them. Thanks Hope and Marty - we hope to be back soon.

Great! Except one thing…

We had a great time and the fun amenities were just as expected and kept us and our guests entertained all weekend! The kids had a blast in the pool, Pitt putt, horse shoes, fishing etc and the adults had fun late into the evenings. Hope and Marty are great people and made it even better. The only thing was it was not made totally clear that they live in a (almost) connected home. Their home does connect to the pool deck. I did some research online before booking and figured that out on my own. Asked direct questions and didn’t get quite direct answers. Not until after I had it booked. So, we booked it knowing this because it wasn’t critical to us having fun. Afterward, we feel like we made some new friends in Hope and Marty! So, a huge relief that the owners are super cool people! But, we do feel like this is a fact that should be known ahead of time for others to consider. Thanks to Hope and Marty! We would definitely rent this house again!

Amazing vacation

If you are looking for a home where you never have to leave, this is the place. The view is breath taking! We enjoyed every moment we had and wish we had of have more time. I can’t say enough about the owners and their kindness!!

To give an example of why we feel we should live on the premises, the other night the pressure switch for our pump quit working. We were able to get it fixed without causing too much trouble for our guests. Over the 10 years we've been renting our place there have been several times something has broken that needed to be fixed ASAP.. This is why we are here. Hopefully you as our guest will understand and realize we want your experience to be a wonderful one..
