We dug into the details on our end, and during your visit the A/C unit froze, which required the building HOA facilities team to enter the condo. That type of situation is considered an emergency, and per the rental agreement, we do reserve the right to enter if immediate action is needed to prevent damage. We absolutely understand the importance of communication and guest privacy. While we always notify guests about any scheduled maintenance, this wasn’t a scheduled event—it was a time-sensitive issue that couldn’t wait without risking further problems in the condo. We have automatic notices that go out with the bookings to allow guest to get detailed confirmation, make changes or cancel within the 24-hour penalty free time. You chose not to move to a different condo after viewing the construction notice, so the construction was as expected.
