We booked this house in early March. Then 28 days before we were to check-in which also happened to be the day our last payment was due the property manger calls and cancels. They tell us that the owner was doing extensive remodeling that was going to take 6 months to complete. They only offered a condo as an alternative and said they could not help us find another house. Luckly we did find another house on such short notice. This house was not under any kind of construction, we in fact saw there were others staying in the house the entire week of our trip. Not sure who the poor buiness of this was on either the owner or the property manager. Vrbo was great at returning our potrtion of money that was their fees with no problem and in a timely manner. Which the property manager said we were responsible for contacting Vrbo to get back. I do NOT recommend using this property owner or property manager.

For the price, I expected morr

Gorgeous home on a quiet and beautiful stretch of beach near the amazing Gulf Shores State Park. We rented bikes and had a terrific trip! This is a pricey house. For the money, we expected more than one trash bag, paper towels, any laundry or dishwashing supplies and better bed linens. Comforters are thin and itchy. The front porch stairs are splintered so don’t go outside without your flip flops! Note there are no beach chairs, so bring your own or walk some distance to the right or left down the beach to rent some. Buying chairs added up quickly. Loved the 93 year old neighbor next door! So sweet!

Family Vacation

Great beach home. Loved the neighbor that permanently lives there full time. Lots of good beach time. Swam with stingrays on our last day there. Would not recommend for larger families due to only 2 bathrooms. We had 6 people staying there for the week at it was very tough. Decorations were lovely but would upgrade the kitchen cabinets or give them a good paint job.
