Relax at the Lake Cabin! Lake front and private dock for the Resort. Free WIFI! Restaurant bar and grill with family dining options just steps away! Beautiful views of the lake! Fresh air and trees around a very beautiful freshwater lake fed by two creeks and a naturally occurring Hot Springs! One of the warmest lakes in western Washington! Public boat launch and parking lot just 500 feet away down the road. Dock your boat at the resort's dock, eat lunch and go back out on the lake for more fun! Water Skiing and tubing are very popular. Swimming off the dock (no life guard) or put your own kayak or stand up paddle board in the water!
One of the best bass-fishing lakes in western Washington, Nahwatzel Lake is open year-round for fishing, and is stocked each spring and fall exclusively with larger rainbow trout averaging a pound a piece. But it also receives larger rainbows from 3 to 8 pounds each, making it a great destination for quality trout fishing! Please no fishing off the Resort dock.

Cabin and lake access was awesome. The resort was very good also. Seemed understaffed on Sunday as we were heading out leaving long waits and a bit of cold food but they were trying. The housekeeping staff for the cabins was phenomenal. Will definently go again.

Relax at the lake

Quiet time at the lake. Restaurant is great. Everyone is super friendly and make you feel very welcome. Kinda hard to cook in the small cabins but doable. One of my favorite places to fish and relax.

Fun little cabin on awesome lake

Cute little cabin, with everything you need for a few nights. Quick walk to lake, with dock. Kids had a great time on the lake in kayaks and paddleboards. Great for fishing bass. The restaurant was not open while we were there, so can't comment on the food. We made all our meals.

Clean Cozy Comfortable Cabin

This cabin worked well for us as a place to stay while visiting relatives at the lake. The host was quick to respond to questions and the check in process was easy. It would also be a good place to stay near the lake for someone who needed to be able to cook their own meals as there was a good sized refrigerator, plenty of pots and pans, and a hot plate for cooking.

half of the dock would get washed over when a boat wake came, not enough flotation, very little water pressure in shower the highlight was internet and tv, couldn't do a campfire because of burn ban, not much to do in the evening other than watch tv or go to the bar and grill on property

Great time

I think it should be stated on the listing that to access the dock it is a very steep walk. And also that the only way to get to the bathroom is thru the bedroom. Over all we had a great time and would return.

Our stay was fine, but the property is very different than portrayed on the website. The cabins are literly in a parking lot and the lake access for resort visitors is no more than 25 feet wide, barely enough roomforone familyor group.

Such a treasure

Great little cabin on a sparkling lake, with good food and a friendly welcome in the restaurant on site. (Don’t miss the biscuits and gravy!) Had all the creature comforts I needed. Note that the “fireplace” is electric, not a wood burner. The kitchen has been enhanced with a chef’s cart, pots and pans, and a two-burner cooker. Also not pictured are the table and chairs and little hibachi outside. Coffee, cocoa, tea, and charcoal were provided.

Cozy Cabin

The cabin was cozy and comfy for 2, definitely felt over crowed with 4 adults. Beautiful area. Gwen was SO nice to communicate with and responded promptly. We would stay again if needing lodging in the area.

We stayed in cabin #2 and went to ride the railway a few minutes down the road. All in all the resort and restaurant are amazing. The staff and locals are very friendly. Our only complaint is the double bed.
