Pool heating is available during the months of November-February. There is a nonrefundable pool heating fee of $150.

Requires 48 hours’ notice to reach full temperature

Please request in advance if you’d like it warmed before your arrival. Pool is set to 85 degrees when heated.

Great property! Very well equipped. We had 14 people and we had plenty of room for everyone. We never felt crowded. The owners were very thoughtful providing games and toys for the kids and a very well stocked kitchen. Plus beach towels and floats, etc. The view from both decks was amazing. Highly recommend this home!

Beautiful property just a short walk to the beach.Gorgeous view of the ocean and sunrise from the upper deck.I would have given 5 stars, however, we had no hot water for the duration of our stay. The property management company was not very responsive when reported.Still highly recommended.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay at the Sand Castle! The pool and living spaces were a hit with our family. The beach view is great, and it’s on a quiet residential street. The only negative about the house is where the bathrooms are located. We made it work but have seen better layouts. The property management group communicated very well with us. All in all, we enjoyed it and would stay there again.

Great location and view. Balconies, kitchen/equipment outstanding. Great place for toddlers in spite of stairs- gates are in closet. Plenty of child toys and games. Best beach with access via walk across magical dunes. Pool was refreshing and perfect size for kids. Only distractions were loud volume from living area into bedrooms due to open floor plan (and we are not a raucous crew) and 2 Bedrooms with no BR access on their floor- took some trekking. The multiple stain glass windows are beautiful. The bidets on every toilet are a nice amenity. (Except for some first-timers!)We would have booked for next year at same time but already reserved!

Everything was great. The only thing that to be improved would be washer and dryer. They took forever to run a cycle. The timers said 54 min but would take a hour and a half. No sure if it’s a sensor issue or what.

Comfortable stay

This house was very comfortable for my family and me to stay in for a weekend getaway. We each had our own space and it was able to accommodate 9 people comfortably. The bathroom situation is a little odd. There are three bathrooms, but two are in bedrooms. There is no bathroom on the entry level.

Great family getaway

This place was the perfect spot for the whole family to get together. Such easy beach access and the kids loved the pool and playing in the large living room. Amazing sunset views from the two huge porches. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a house big enough to fit the whole family!

Location, Location, Location!

This was a perfect home to spend our week in St. Augustine! The views from this house are incredible and only steps away from the beach itself! The distance to downtown St. Augustine was about 15 minutes, which made the neighborhood nice and quiet as its away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. Property management was very prompt in responding to questions!

Lovely time

Beautiful time staying at this property. We loved catching up with family sitting on the deck listening to the sounds of the waves. Quiet neighborhood great for walking. The beach was perfect with only a few others enjoying the sand and surf.

This house was perfect for a group of moms getting together for the weekend. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools, the beds were really comfortable, the living area and spaces were set up nicely for group chats and hang outs, the beach access was close, and everything was thought of (from ice, to toilet paper and soap). Fantastic Host, Fantastic House!

We shared this home with another family and it was perfect. Clean, big, bright and the best-equipped VRBO we have stayed in. Tons of towels, beach items, and kitchen equipment. Everything is labeled and organized. We would definitely return!

Fantastic Stay!

Had a wonderful experience at the Sandcastle! Plenty of space for our group of 10 adults, especially the common areas, kitchen and balconies. Loved the vaulted ceilings and views from both outdoor spaces. House was sparkling clean and Jordan was very responsive. East beach access and a short drive to restaurants and downtown St. Augustine. Would have been nice to have one additional bathroom/half bath on the 1st or 2nd floor, but overall was a wonderful stay!

Make sure to request specifically for the pool to be heated. Owner and property management seem to co-manage the property, neither professionally. Nice location and very spacious common area. Kitchen is well stocked. Bedrooms are very nice

Relaxing and Fun Girls Trip

We had a wonderful time relaxing with friends and family at the Sandcastle. We had 15 adults and with the trundle bed we had enough bed space for everyone! The pool was nice and the location was so great to be walking distance to the beach. We brought some towels with us but there were plenty of towels and some beach chairs available too. The only minor complaint was that the toilet paper could have been a little better quality but otherwise the house was well stocked with kitchen supplies, cooking dishes, and glassware. Would definitely stay in again!

AMAZING PROPERTY!!!

This is by far the most amazing property that I've ever rented. The owners have gone over-the-top to consider every convenience imaginable and have stocked the house to the fullest! They have labeled all kitchen cabinets and drawers to eliminate searching for items. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need to prepare meals for a large group. The consideration and detail that was given to furnishing this house was definitely evident and appreciated. The owners and property manager were very responsive and took care of our every need. There were so many extras in this house, it would be impossible to list them all. The decks were fully furnished and provided great views of the ocean. The beauty and comfort of this house was enjoyed by our whole group. This property has it all and I would definitely love to visit here again! Cathy Baggett

Sand Castle Retreat

The Sand Castle had all the amenities a group could want. It had plenty of towels, linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper products, Wifi, beach chairs, beach towels, baby gates, plenty of glasses, dishes, silverware, and kitchen utensils. They had games for all ages to include toys, books, puzzles, and foosball. They had everything you have in your home and more. The air conditioners were more than adequate for the house and there were thermostats on each floor level that maintained the requested temperature. The washer and dryer looked brand new. The only issue we had was a reboot of the router which was corrected promptly. Don was very punctual and accommodating with any question we had. We would recommend that the placement of the shower on the side of the house be highlighted. It was a very luxurious home in which to vacation.
