With such a perfect location, you will have no trouble walking to the warm sand ton listen to the sound of the waves as you break open that new novel you have been meaning to get around to. If you feel like staying a bit closer to home, head out to the shared terrace or your very own private balcony at each of the apartments and sip a favorite drink in bliss as you look out to the water. After you have had your fill of salty air and sun-kissed skin, head inside to kick back in the living area for a movie night or show off your culinary skills in one of the full kitchens! With three separate spaces, you can bring the whole family or your closest friends with ease while each party can get their own privacy at the end of the day.

Pretty Good

The rental is in a GREAT location. Close enough to everything to save a long walk, but just far enough off the main road that it's not loud at night. Onsite staff was wonderful. Just be aware that the living room and kitchen/main house areas have no AC and some bedrooms don't either on the second floor.

It's also wonderful to know that you found our onsite staff to be wonderful. We apologize for any discomfort you experienced due to the lack of air conditioning in the living room, kitchen, and some of the second-floor bedrooms. We understand how important a comfortable temperature is for a pleasant stay, especially during warmer months. Your feedback is valuable, and we will look into ways to improve the cooling options in these areas to enhance the comfort of our guests. Thank you again for your review. De Real Macaw was a great fit for our group of 13 during our 2-night stay in Caye Caulker. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Bev, one of the housekeepers, and her sweet 4-year-old daughter, Emberly. Although we arrived a few hours early, Bev quickly finished preparing the rooms and made us feel welcome right away. Since her family lives in the downstairs apartments, someone was usually nearby and happy to help with things like extra bath towels and local recommendations. We were lucky enough to have some mini play dates with Emberly too! We really appreciated their kindness and hospitality throughout our stay.
