Charming Spanish Casita located in the Village of La Jolla. Walking distance to world famous La Jolla Cove, beaches, shopping, art galleries, museums and restaurants.
The Casita/Guest House has 1 bedroom, living room, full bathroom, kitchenette with new microwave, coffee maker, sink, induction cook top, compact refrigerator. There is a large patio/deck with a new Viking grill, freezer, outdoor heater and outdoor table, lounge chairs and 3 market umbrellas.
The bathroom has been remodeled recently with Marrakesh Tile flooring, a new vanity with marble counter top, new shower / tub with new shower head and fixtures.
The Kitchenette has also been upgraded with a Quartz counter top, new sink and faucet.
The property is located at 7701 Ivanhoe Ave East in the Village of La Jolla. The location is in a very upscale residential neighborhood that is easy walking distance to all that the Village of La Jolla has to offer (Beaches, restaurants, museums, art galleries, night life, shopping).
For those that may be sensitive to noise we have an Adaptive Sound Sleep Therapy System that has 10 soothing settings such as Ocean Waves, Rushing Brook, Rainfall, Fireplace crackling, Crickets in a Meadow : which will allow you to sleep comfortably.

Kitchenette with coffee maker, new microwave, sink, new induction cook top, compact refrigerator. Desk in bedroom with wireless internet connection. Original paintings by local artist Fay Richert.
Living room has a full size bed (not a sofa bed), new carpet, a large leather couch and leather love seat, Dish Network internet compatible HDTV , DVD player. The entire suite with bedroom and living room is approximately 700 sq. ft. Original art work by local artists.
Large patio deck has Spanish pavers (400 sq. ft. approximately), new Viking grill and table with 4 chairs for relaxing after a day at the beach. There are 3 large umbrellas and outdoor gas heater to make sure you are comfortable regardless of the weather.
The location is 3 blocks from world class shopping, restaurants, art galleries and museums on Prospect St. and Girard Ave. Beaches, Scripps Park, The Seal Rookery, and the Cove are all within easy walking distance. We provide 2 beach chairs, beach towels and cooler for your use while staying at the Casita.
We have lived in the Village of La Jolla for many years and absolutely love being able to walk to everything. There is always something interesting happening in the Village. We hope you will love the Village of La Jolla lifestyle as much as we do.

We came to golf and the Spanish Casita met all our needs. Its location is perfect. Walking distance to La Jolla
as well as grocery and wine stores.
The patio is outstanding.
I fell in love with their dog.
No issues. Owners are friendly and engaging.

The Spanish Casita in La Jolla was a perfect location for our visit to San Diego. The Casita was walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and coastal area in La Jolla village, and we also walked to La Jolla Shores one afternoon along the coast. We were visiting family in the area, and they were able to stay over one night in the Casita. The accommodations were clean, with a small kitchen that was perfect for our 5-night stay, and a deck that has a gas heater for the cool nights. Prior reviews commented on the traffic noise in the area, but we did not have a problem with this noise. We had an excellent stay in the Casita and would consider this location again the next time we stay in La Jolla.
Great location central to everything in La Jolla. We did a lot of walking and only used the car minimally. The owner's gave us their rewards number for the local grocery store which saved us a bunch on food. For that we were very greatful. They have a nice grill for outdoor cooking and a great porch to hang out on, which is good because the kitchen area is very small. Our only complaint was that the house sits right at the corner of a busy intersection so it was pretty noisy most of the day and night. If I had to make a suggestion I would say that a small table and chairs indoors would be helpful for food prep, serving and eating. While eating outside was nice, it could be a little chilly in the morning or late in the evening.
The Casita was perfect for our weekend in La Jolla. It was clean and perfectly located within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. I would highly recommend staying there to anyone visiting the area.
My husband and I came here for a baby moon and couldn't have enjoyed it more! Great location. We had a blast walking to great brunch and dinner spots, the La Jolla open air market, shopping, and the cove. It was clean and decorated nicely. They had fresh flowers for us on arrival. Wonderful owners that were very hospitable and helpful. Love La Jolla and this cozy vacation spot!
The Spanish Casita was perfect for a weekend get-away. Comfortable, convenient, and everything we needed. walk to beach and enjoy La Jolla!
My husband and I stayed at the Casita from March 30-April 3, 2013. The location of the Casita is wonderful for walking all over La Jolla. Of the 25 other reviews, we are baffled why no other reviewer has mentioned two things that we felt could not be overlooked- this property faces the incredibly busy and loud intersection of Torrey Pines Road and E. Ivanhoe Street. The house has single pane windows that did not block out the noise and rattled as the cars, buses and trucks drove by. We did not use the patio because of traffic noise which was a shame because it was very pretty. Additionally, the kitchenette is in the bedroom which you cannot tell from the photos. Because of it being in the bedroom, we ended up not really using it and ate at restaurants instead. We are sorry but cannot recommend staying at this property.
