Your OWN Private Refuge ON 10 Acres IN Santa Ynez

Enjoy your own private residence set on 10 acres centrally located to all of the Valley's finest restaurants, wineries and activities in this 2 bedroom 1 bath casita. Serene country setting set among horse ranches with striking mountain views, and yet just 1/2 mile from downtown Santa Ynez.! Country in the "city" -- the perfect location.
We are 3 miles from Los Olivos and 4 miles from Solvang.

All the comforts of home await you in this Spanish-style home complete with plaster walls, vaulted ceilings and terra cotta tile. It is completely private and separate from the main house where the owners reside with their 2 beloved dogs who are fenced in their own private yard.

The great room features a large picture window affording spectacular views of the property, a large gas fireplace with hearth and numerous windows to enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds. There is a 43" Smart TV with Netflix and Prime Video, DirecTV service and a DVD player with a wide assortment of DVD's. High speed WiFi recently added. A secretary desk is the perfect place for your computer work.

The primary bedroom has a very comfortable King size bed to guarantee a wonderful night's sleep. Windows on either side of the bedroom provide views of the beautiful landscape. The second bedroom offers 2 twin beds which can be separated or combined to form one King size bed.

A fully stocked kitchen offers everything for the most industrious cook. Grind your coffee beans and enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch or on the back patio. Full spice rack and cooking oils make it easy to prepare dinner at home.
Dining for 4 in adjacent breakfast area.

A lovely patio includes a table for 4, additional seating and an outdoor grill. Your covered carport houses a sports locker of sports equipment and a basketball hoop sits across the driveway.

This is the perfect getaway for families and couples.
Comfortable, convenient and tranquil........all the makings for the perfect vacation stay.

We are dog friendly with a 2 dog maximum for a flat fee of $30.00 paid at time of booking. Please bring your own beds/crates. NO CATS

Wonderful location and cute home. The beds were comfy and the house had everything we needed. It was so nice to be able to walk the dog down the long country driveway and look at the mountains in one direction and the sunset in another. It is also very close to everything yet it feels like an oasis. The hosts are respectful of guests privacy but they were so hospitable and friendly and warm and ensured we had everything we needed. Hope to come back and stay again!

This place was perfect for our needs. The property sits on 10 private acres, so it felt incredibly private, quiet, and safe, which we really appreciated. The home is single-level with no stairs, which made it ideal for my elderly parents and little blind dog- that alone makes this place a rare and special find. The house was secluded yet close to great retaurants, solvang,casino, wine tasting. Id like to go back soon.

4th of July Getaway

Love going up to the Santa Ynez/Los Olivos area! Such a relaxing quiet place to go with lots of fun wineries to try when we want to go out and about. This is at least our 3rd time spending the 4th of July holiday up there away from all the loud illegal fireworks in our area that terrify our dogs (they love it up there too!).

My husband and I have lived in the Santa Ynez Valley for over 30 years. In all of our travels, we have found few places as beautiful as our own little Valley. We feel very fortunate to live in such a special place and look forward to sharing our experience with our guests.

Why they chose this property

The Santa Ynez Valley is the perfect retreat. A tranquil, gorgeous setting offering many activities and yet just a 30 minute drive to the beautiful city of Santa Barbara. Enjoy wine tasting at the numerous wineries in the area, shopping in the quaint Danish village of Solvang, a stroll through charming Los Olivos with numerous tasting rooms and shops, or dining at wonderful local restaurants. Hiking biking or boating/fishing in Lake Cachuma.
For golfers, the River Course at the Alisal in Solvang is a great public course. Monthly golf packages available.

What makes this property unique

This is a wonderful combination of privacy and convenience. We are situated on 10 acres, yet we are a very short walking distance from downtown Santa Ynez. A beautiful setting with a detached and very private second residence. Vaulted ceilings add spaciousness and charm and the large fireplace is both sophisticated and cozy. We've furnished it with everything you will need for your stay!
