Los cabaña cuenta con 2 dormitorios, 1 baño, sala de estar con una chimenea caliente una cocina eficiente (completamente equipado). Cada habitación tiene una cama de matrimonio y el baño cuenta con una bañera con patas con ducha, así como una lavadora y secadora. La casa se encuentra en Santa Ynez y reside en una bonita zona del valle que se siente aislado, pero todavía es conveniente para los pueblos de los alrededores. El centro de Los Olivos es de aprox. 4 millas de distancia, el centro de Santa Ynez es de aprox. 4 millas de distancia, y el centro de Solvang es de aprox. 7. 5 millas de distancia. Fireplace was awesome. Vey clean and well furnished. Single bath worked ok for 2 couples. Awesome place. Close to lots of great wineries and restaurants.

Charming and peaceful

This cottage is adorable. So comfortable and clean. Has all you need. Quiet and well located near everything but feels a million miles away. Hosts were great and it was all that was promised.

11 nights stay; Flies, Dust, Mold etc. Uniquely undermaintained.

They built a nice casita-then let it slip into disrepair and neglect.Good design and building materials, tasteful furnishings, very good cutlery, bedding and appliances. It is isolated and quiet.However: There were/are dead and alive flies in every room, including the kitchen and bath. There are dead flies and insects between the screens and the windows. The widows are dirty.Owner responds that he cannot solve the fly problem. There was dust on the floor, shelves and sills. There was dried mold in the wine decanter and water with mold left in the water kettle. Food particles were stuck inside the kitchen sink. Interior walls need paint. Chimney wall shows dark smudges. Couch is badly stained. Entranceway/terrace has dirt, leaves, dried olive pits. A left over sock was in a decorataive fixture. Misc. debris.Bedside table is broken, lock mechanism on window has fallen off, interior door handle is only taped in place. Missing weather stripping around door leaves a substantial gap to the ourtside. Welcome book badly needs updating.

Home Away from Home

Dana and Craig are gracious and charming hosts. The property is equally delightful. The lavender field and olive grove makes us feel as if we are back in Provence. We will be back again soon!

Nice hideaway in the hills

This is a petite cottage in the hills of Santa Ynez. Fun to stay and experience the calm of the countryside. There are nice amenities on the property, to include a wonderful porch to eat a morning meal. The place is outfitted with great bedding and a cozy feel. Great for a couple or family of four. I would recommend giving it a try.

My wife and I returned to Petite Maison and found the cottage and surroundings to be just as charming and delightful as before. The new brick path to the front door is a nice addition. Looking forward to our next stay.

Country Getaway

We had the most amazing time in La Petite Maison. It was really what we needed. We took long walks along the country road and spent most of the time in and around the cottage. The cottage had everything we needed. The cottage was charming and we especially took full advantage of the fire place inside and having the heater outside allowed us to eat outside on the cool evenings. The welcome amenities were a nice touch. Lovely place to getaway in the Valley.

Wine Country Cottage

Le petite Maison is absolutely charming. We loved the quaint touches throughout the cottage. The large connecting bathroom is spacious with plenty of room for toiletries. The location is amongst a grove of olive trees and french lavender which adds to the charm. We hope to return in the near future!

Just perfect

I have to be careful in terms of how much Praise I offer as it could have the effect of making further bookings more complicated – but just have to say, this is an absolutely perfect location and home for a wine country getaway north of Santa Barbara. Dana was wonderful, easy to communicate with, the location is absolutely fantastic With proximity to everything nearby. Definitely will stay again.

Prefect little spot

Found the cottage to be the perfect place to stay in the valley. Equal distant between Santa Ynez and Los Olivos and a short drive from Solvang. Beautiful quiet location and charming decor. my brother and I were very comfortable

This charming little French cottage on a lavender farm did not disappoint. It’s tiny but has everything we needed and set in a beautiful peaceful location. Spent 3 nights relaxing on the property, lying in the hammock looking up at the stars, going into town (Santa Ynez/Los Olivos/Buellton etc). The beds are very comfortable and the decor is charming and tasteful. Love the clawfoot tub and the host’s Lavande bath and body products throughout the house to try and purchase. I wish our stay happened before the lavender was harvested so we could experience the smells we read about, but that’s not a complaint. Next time we will try to schedule our stay to be there before the lavender is cut. Just a couple things needed but nothing a dealbreaker: more hooks to hang towels and I’ll bring a lighted mirror next time, since the lighting in bathroom is a little dark. Just small things. We love it and the hosts were lovely and communicative.

It was a beautiful stay on a beautiful property! Only needed some dusting and had some items left over from a previous occupant. They left us a lovely note and bottle of wine though and had coffee and water bottles which was a super sweet touch! Would definitely stay again. :)

Picturesque Setting

A little bit of Provence in Los Olivos …. Exceptional communication, and gracious host. Stylish artistic comfortable décor with everything you will need!! We were in a wedding at a winery near by. Wish we would have had a little longer to enjoy this charming cottage!!

Lavender cottage

Perfect Retreat

The wife and I wanted to get away from it all to decompress. This cottage was perfect in it's location among lavender fields. Neither of us had ever experienced silence like this before. Stress simply drained away. Wife is still dreaming about the serenity there. Thank you Dana.

Peaceful Bliss

Quaint French cottage surrounded by beautiful lavender plants, birds & bunnies and very quiet, which we loved! Home is beautifully decorated and feels very cozy. Enjoyed some wine on the front porch surrounded by so much beauty. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we only wish we could have stayed longer!

We now own and operate Lavande Farm with La Petite Maison as our little jewel in the midst of the lavender field.
