Conveniently located in the Cypress Cove Marina. This houseboat is a 3 bedroom/1 bath/ and comfortably sleeps 6. The kitchen comes equipped with a refrigerator with microwave, gas range, and coffee maker. Towels and linens are provided. The large outside deck has a BBQ grill with nice patio furniture to sit back and relax after a long day of fishing.

The pictures on this ad are very dated, most of the a/c units in this houseboat do not work. The one unit in the top deck does t work and you cannot use that part of the houseboat, it’s just too hot. It has a bbq pot but it is rusted through. Me and my guests worked on this thing for an hour or two before our stay could even start. Owner was very responsive and did send out an A/C guy but all he could tell us is “it’s broke”. I voiced my concerns after it was all said and done but the owner was not interested once I was no longer staying there. I would def not re book this property nor any other property owned by these folks.

Fun Houseboat

We had a great time staying here. There were 6 adults and we all fit very comfortably. Spent most of our time on the upper deck outside. There was a couple of hiccups, but the owner was on the spot getting us settled.

Great Fish Camp

Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults. Neat experience sleeping on a house boat. Canopy weathered but we still have a great time visiting top deck. Wild life was fun to watch!

Perfect fishing get away

The interior is surprisingly very clean/modern. The 2 couches pull out to comfy beds. The upstairs patio is perfect for a day after fishing. Just a few minute drive to Venice Marina, however both our inshore and offshore fishing captains conveniently picked us up directly off the back porch on the boat.

Property needs some serious maintenance. Mold and water damage to the ceilings and walls. Missing almost all the couch cushions on the bottom floor. The bbq has almost dissolved into the deck.

Loving the House Boat life

The house boat was as advertised!! Everyone had a great time and plenty of room. Top deck was the place most people gathered until the skeeters ran us in. Highly recommend

My reservation was for one night for 6 adults. We fished all day on 5.16.26 and checked in that evening and fished the following day as well. Once inside we first noticed the upstairs A/C was not cooling, and the main living area A/C was only moderately cooling. That left one bedroom unit to cool the entire place. It was pretty unpleasant! Next we noticed only 4 towels were provided by the host, and again I say there were 6 adults that all needed showers. Noboby wants to share a towel....eww gross!When preparing to get situated in beds, the top bunk in the rear bedroom was found to be missing MULTIPLE wood slats so the person attempting to get into it almost fell through the unsupported mattress, so that bed was deemed unusable. I slept on the couch in the living room which was my choice, so nothing negative to speak of there, but we all noticed the houseboat was listing to the port side which was really annoying for the equilibrium.Also, several days prior to check in I sent the owner/host a message about an ice machine. I didn't see one listed in the description, but the reply I got from him stated that there was indeed a new ice machine for us to use. There is NOT AN ICE MACHINE so that was an extra 50 in ice for Sunday that we did not anticipate having to spend at the fuel dock.....dishonest or oversight?I messaged the host and asked him to call me after I checked out, but he never called so here is my review since I couldn't tell him directly.

What an experience!

I went with 3 other friends to go fishing in Venice, Louisiana and had a great time. The houseboat was very clean and since we were going to be late, we got a code for where the key was at. Although the weather took a toll on the awning, the beds and patio were amazing. All the comforts of home and we were there for 4 days. We caught a lot of fish which made it even more of a successful adventure. I recommend staying here and enjoying all the amenities that this houseboat and area have to offer.

Very disappointed

Overwhelming cigarette smell. Had to buy air freshener to be able to stay inside. WiFi never worked the entire stay which also meant the TV didn’t either. Light switch and ceiling fan in the back bedroom didn’t work. It might be a good policy to make sure everything is working before someone rents this property. Very disappointed.

Great weekend getaway

Check in was easy and boathouse was perfect fit for what we wanted. Fish cleaning station is very close to boathouse which makes it very convenient. We were catching redfish within a 10 minute boat ride from the boathouse. Upstairs deck was very nice with a good bbq pit also. We will be staying here again in the future.
