The Luck Dragon Loft combines luxury and convenience in a unique space. Experience Earth, Sky, Space, and Time.
The space
The Luck Dragon Loft is our home away from home. We live here part-time, and the space is fully equipped and styled with personal belongings.
Please take care of our home, we are NOT a hotel.

The full cleaning fee amount is paid to our cleaning people. We believe in paying a living wage.

This unique home is close to EVERYTHING, making it easy to plan your visit. Walking distance to Busch Stadium(Cardinals Baseball), Enterprise Center (STL Blues Hockey), St. Louis Library, City Garden Sculpture Park, The City Museum, Union Station, The St. Louis Aquarium, St. Louis Arch, Gateway Arch National Park, National Blues Museum.

Water Cooler: You are going to love this water. The reverse osmosis filtration membrane within the system removes unwanted particles such as lead and sodium from your drinking water.

Use the instant Hot water to brew your coffee in the provided Chemex 8 Cup Glass Pour Over Coffee Maker. The filters and coffee are in the pantry cabinet.

“I have been referred to as a “water snob.” I wont drink out of the tap and usually order water bottles when I travel. But then I tasted the Wellsys system at a hotel and I had to have it in my home. Eliminating single use plastics is a huge plus. I vouch for the Wellsys System completely.” - Tcharlie

Parking is city parking. Best for car-free travelers. The Metro and rideshare options are easy to use.
Other things to note
You will need a fob key to use the elevator after 8 pm. If the fob is left behind or lost, you will need to use a code (given with check-in info) take the stairs to the second floor, then take the elevator to our level.

Best Stay in St Louis

This is officially our home away from home. I am so pleased we found the Luck Dragon Loft. Tcharlie is the best host and has continuously gone above and beyond to accommodate our stays. Already have our next trip on the books.

Fall break 2021

We had a great time in St Louis! The Luck Dragon Loft was perfect in every way. The projection TV was awesome for movie night after spending the day discovering the city. Great location and very comfortable - home away from home!

Home Away From Home

We had a wonderful stay. A last-minute trip to the city turned into our most memorable family vacation. The home was clean and spacious with a perfect location for everything. The owners made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay and communicated quickly. I seriously can't wait to stay here again because it truly felt like I was staying with family.

Family weekend getaway

We had a great over all experience. We arrived by vehicle later at night so figuring out parking, and unloading was a little bit of a mess… but the owners talked us through and made sure we were settled in before they even went to bed. She checked on us throughout our stay. The home was way nicer than we expected or advertised. The bed was the BEST, and the water was amazing! :-) Very large and spacious.

2nd stay was even better

This was my family’s second stay at the Luck Dragon Loft. After having such an awesome first stay, I was curious to see if it would live up to my memory. I’m shocked to say it was even better than last time. Our host made us feel like family, and even set out legos for our 7 yr old. It’s official, I am buying a Puffy Mattress, our host was kind enough to tell me the brand is in The loft because it’s the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. We come to St. Louis a lot, I don’t want to stay anywhere else. It’s the Luck Dragon Loft for me and my family.

There is a reason we keep coming back.

Well, all the reasons. This is not a typical VRBO rental property. The owners have furnished the property with all the comforts of home. It’s so nice to sleep on luxury sheets. Any requests I’ve had, Tcharlie (host) has been able to accommodate or recommend a solution. The Luck Dragon Loft has become the destination. I look forward to my work trips to St. Louis now.

Looking for an excuse to go back!

This place set an unrealistic expectation going forward for all other rentals I’ll use in the future. My family kept asking if we can just move in permanently. The owner must be an interior designer, because the space is unique and beautiful. Location is great if you’re looking to do any of the tourist stuff, but especially if you plan to visit Busch Stadium/Arch area. It’s all within reasonable walking distance and a 20 minute Uber ride from the airport. Host is very communicative, accommodating, and helpful. We legitimately loved this stay and were sad to leave.

Awesome experience in a downtown loft

We had such a great experience from beginning to end. The property owner was extremely helpful with any questions and made sure that we were comfortable with everything that needed to be done. The beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in and the loft was beautifully decorated. Although not that big of a deal, there is no TV in the main common area. We made it work but it’s something I would’ve like to know beforehand. Overall we had a great experience and we definitely will be coming back to stay soon!

3rd stay, proof of excellence

This is our third stay at the Luck Dragon Loft. I'm already planning our next trip. I finally had the chance to experience the moon bath in all its glory. I used the provided bubble bath and messaged Tcharlie to make a lighting request. The tub wasn't even full yet, they were so quick to respond. I choose the moonlight serenade at 30% brightness. haha no really, it was serene. This place is so much more than a "vacation rental." its an experience! 6/5 stars

Even better than advertised.

I can't say enough great things about this property. Tcharlie (our host) provided exceptional service before and throughout our stay. It's rare to show up at a short term rental and it look even better than advertised. Our 7 yr old loved sleeping in the Sky room. Family movie night was epic snuggled up in the Space Room watching Disney+ on the BIG SCREEN. I had to ask what type of mattress they have because it was like sleeping on a cloud! Oh, and the drinking water system they have REALLY is that good! Speaking of water, the water pressure in the Moon Bath is amazing. I suspect we will be visiting again in the near future.

A rare gem!!!

The Luck Dragon is a wonderful home away from home. The loft is very very clean with several upgraded amenities. Perfect location in the downtown area. Short walk to the Convention Center, restaurants and grocery store. Really appreciated the extra security measures of the building. The host was very easy to communicate with and made us feel very welcomed. Would highly recommend this property!!!!

Great space & location!

Staying at the Luck Dragon Loft was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway! We have stayed at different hotels every time we’ve come to STL but I know next time, I will check the availability in hopes to stay here again! We were within walking distance of everything- food, bars, etc. The owner made themselves available for our entire stay if we had questions or needed help! I can’t wait until next time!

Our host Tcharlie goes above and beyond and has done so, every trip. We are so glad we found the luck dragon loft. Always our first choice when staying in St. Louis.

Lofted Convenience

Property was in close proximity to many family attractions, some within walking distance. Loft was spacious and comfortable. Very clean with ample amenities. Would definitely recommend as downtown accommodations for any length of stay.

Good location, Fantastic Homeowners

We had a great vacation and enjoyed our stay in “The Luck Dragon Loft” The property was great, homeowner was very nice and always replied to our questions. As a fellow multi-property owner, I was very pleased with the fact that if we had questions about anything, before or during our stay, we were able to text the homeowners, and they are very quick in responding, extremely nice and more than willing in answering our questions. The property was very clean, comfy beds and well equipped with everything that we needed, plus some, during our stay. It’s a nice size loft and ideal for a couples get away or a family of 4. The property is located in a convenient area, with many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. This is definitely NOT a negative towards the homeowners, but be prepared to pay for parking. This was not a deal breaker for us, since the parking was located directly behind the building. After all, most all areas in the vicinity, of downtown St. Louis, have their challenges with parking. Whether visiting attractions or having to drive to dine out. Taking that into consideration, I found that the overnight parking was very convenient and well worth cost. All-in-all, you won't be disappointed in choosing the Luck Dragon Loft.

Hometown Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend stay at The Luck Dragon Loft! Great downtown location, extremely helpful host, exceptionally clean and spacious home. From the comfy beds, to the Moon Bath, to the drinking water system (yes, it IS that GOOD!), to the large projection screen...we will definitely visit again and recommend to everyone!
