Condo was clean, nicely decorated and spacious. There was plenty of room for 4 people and a few more with the pull out sofa bed. Condo was close to the beach, a 5 minute walk and the Wild Dunes resort for activities. Host was great and answered all questions timely. The only hiccup was the oven door handle was broken but this was minor as we didn’t do any major cooking.

Easy to find, safe area! Walk to the beach was an easy 5 minute walk. Beautiful area to stay. We had an issue with the dishwasher but the host was notified and was easy to get ahold of! Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Lovely location

We love the Charleston area and Isle of Palms is the best. Excellent location for beach, attractions, etc. Perfect rental for a family. We will be back.

Nice visit and the place was clean. Had some issues with the heat staying above 64 but they attempted to fix it. No success but they were quick to respond. Dishwasher also wasn't working when I went to turn it on upon check out. Rental company quick to respond and was great in helping me when I needed to stay an extra 2 days. Overall, happy with visit. Thanks.

Small family

We come to Isle of Palm for the past 3 years. We love the easy access of the Villas in Wild dunes. Easy to unload close to the beach and ways to store our bicycles.

Property was clean and did not disappoint. Ned’s were a little hard for us, but so are many hotels. Kitchen was amply stocked, but no spices. Beach is walkable to get there, and area was clean and safe.

Overall decent stay. There is lots of space and location is decent, though the walk to the beach was rough with a baby on extremely hot July days. We thought there was beach access closer based on proximity to the ocean, but you need to walk to the hotel area. Two issues for us: 1) The overall cleanliness — nothing was super gross, but towels and sofas were dingy/had spots, floors left your feet/socks dirty, shower curtain liner had some mildew, shower floors are stained/dirty, the carpet is old and not ideal for beachside living 2) we went on about the hottest weekend ever, but the A/C in the king bedroom had trouble keeping up, so it was hot at bedtime. Apartment could use some updates, but has what you need. If you plan to cook, bring your own knives and wooden cutting board.It would have been nice to have a pack and play and a few beach items rather than having to rent separately, but understand not everyone provides that. They do have lots of games that would be great for older kids.For the price, I would expect cleaner and maybe newer/nicer.

We had a great week staying here! The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of cookware and dishware, and there were laundry and dishwasher pods available which was so helpful. Check-in was a breeze and they were very accommodating! The pool is just across the parking lot and was nice when we wanted a break from the sand. Great paths for biking and really just a lovely spot for our little family. There were games and movies to keep the kids occupied, access to Netflix and Disney and it was about a 10 minute walk to the beach. One thing I want to mention for those that have allergies/asthma: Lots of humidity is very typical of beach houses and I know that there can often be a slight damp/musty smell, just part of the deal, but I will say that one of the bedrooms had quite a strong musty/mildewy smell and did affect my daughters allergies/asthma. And the blower is so loud. The manager was very responsive and came immediately to check everything, but was unable to do much at the time. The king mattress is quite firm, which is dependent on personal preference of course. We had a very nice stay and loved the location but will probably look into another unit due to allergies.

Great Older Condo, Excellent Property Management

We planned a last minute IOP trip for three of us, and although we typically stay beach front, we found this property available at the last minute and decided to try it. For the price, you absolutely cannot beat it in Wild Dunes. It is an older unit that could use some fresh paint, but it was clean overall and well maintained (the counters were still a little dirty upon arrival but that was all). There aren’t as many kitchen items as I expected (no Keurig, limited cookware), but it has the majority of what you need for a short stay. It’s antenna tv so that was annoying, but the Roku in each room worked great. The walk to the beach was not bad at all - it’s actually closer than some of the beachfront condos we’ve stayed in since the walk once you’re at the sand is much shorter in that area (just go down Seagrove right across from the Villas and you’re there). The property management was AMAZING - they emailed all the info a week in advance, texted the day of to let me know when the unit was ready (earlier than expected too!), and they immediately helped when we got locked out of the condo - and had a maintenance person there within minutes to help us. Can’t say enough about how great they were! This is a great unit for a small family or girls trip, and we’re happy to have lucked out and found it!
