This spacious vacation home is right in the heart of Gulf Shores! 3 minute walk to the beach, and 10 minute walk to The Hangout and the Shrimp Festival! This home comfortably sleeps 8 guests with a king bed in the master, a full bed and extra-long twin bunk in the guest room. A queen sleeper sofa is located in the spacious living room. We provide a fully stocked kitchen. Drip and Keurig coffee makers available, stainless appliances, and plenty of granite counter space.

Beach access is just across the street. (0.1 miles), Public Beach and the Hangout (0.5 miles), Waterville (1 mile), The Oyster House (1 mile), De Soto's, The Steamer & The Shrimp basket are within in walking distance. For a treat, "cherry on top ice cream" is just down the street. If you forgot a swimsuit or boogy board, Alvins Island is within eyesight! Souvenir City and Surf style are just down the road. Gulf State Park and the Fishing Pier (2 miles), Foley Tanger Outlets (9 miles). Be sure to try insta-cart from Rouses if you need groceries quick !

Linens provided, but please bring your beach towels.
Starter pack provided of laundry detergent, dish soap, and a trash bag. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap in each bathroom.

Three adults and a small dog

The unit is conveniently located and very clean with nearly all of the anticipated furnishings. Ideally for us, the amenities would include additional TV’s. My group included my mentally handicapped son who enjoys television and we were indoors due to weather for a couple of days so the situation was exacerbated. Two of the octogenarians found the entry steps challenging but admittedly this comment may influenced by our ages.

Great Home, Great Location

My husband and I had a great stay here, celebrating his recent retirement. The home is clean, comfortably furnished and very conveniently located near the beach and many shops and restaurants. There were plenty of dishes, towels, blankets, pillows, etc. We loved that it was in a neighborhood setting, making it easy to get out and walk the dogs and not have to worry about heavy traffic. We would definitely look to stay here again, the next time we are in Gulf Shores!

Close to everything close!

Very clean and close to everything since we enjoy walking. All the restaurants around there have great food too!

Great Location & Clean

Very nice home and very clean! Withing walking distance of everything. Although we did not cook there was sufficient amount of cookware and dishes! If we come back to the area we will see if there property is available. Thanks for letting us stay at your home!!

Perfect location

This house was exactly as pictured! We were able to bring both of our for babies and have the best time. The house was equipped with everything we needed-we love staying in this area

Wind and Sea

The property was just as seen in photos. The kitchen was adequately stocked for home cooking. Air conditioner worked too good! Hosts were responsive to the sticking door issue that has appeared in several reviews. They had handyman there in less than 24 hours. Bring your own blow dryer and hand soap. Washer and dryer work nicely as does dishwasher. Home is well kept considering it's age. Thanks for a pleasant stay. Door sticking is why check in got 4 stars.

Wind and Wave Is a Great Spot

This is a great property, conveniently close to all of our favorite Gulf Shores locations and just a short walk to the public beach (Literally, over a half block and up one block to safely cross the main street at a stoplight / crosswalk). We stayed at the end of the summer season in August, so there were a few wear and tear things that were likely just a matter of being used all summer, but otherwise, it was perfect for our family. Fantastic communication, easy check-in / check-out, and a great experience start to finish.

Great location

Great location, the house was big enough for our family of 5! My only complaint is the trash can was left full downstairs so we could not use the downstairs amenities because it smelled of rotten food and Extra supplies were not provided. Toilet paper/trash bags. One trash bag and no extra rolls of toilet paper we’re left for us! We ran out and had to go to the store to buy extras. Overall our stay was pleasant!

Great place for friends or family trip!

The property is located within walking distance of the beach but is tucked away from the busyness of the large condominiums. The interior is comfortable, AC was cold, and the hosts were responsive and helpful. Our group has been taking trips together for 6 years in a row now and this was the most hassle-free, relaxing, and enjoyable place we have stayed! Highly recommend.

Amazing!!

Stayed here for a girls trip, amazing location - walking distance to a lot of resturants, everything was clean. The only problem we had was with the front door getting slightly stuck on occasion which was no big deal at all. Will definitely be staying again. :)

Family vacation with our pup!

The house is very easy to find with great access to the beach, restaurant and shopping. Very comfortable size and plenty of items to cook with for those that don’t want to eat out every night. The neighborhood was quiet which made it nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Everything was in walking distance including the beach and if not within walking distance it was only a short drive away! Pictures are slightly different than in person but overall very happy with our stay here and would look forward to coming back in the future !

Clean and convenient

Property was very clean. Furnishings were nice and as pictured. Location was also convenient to beach and dining. Front door stuck upon opening, which was a little inconvenient. More toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags would have been appreciated.

Perfect

This house did not disappoint. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We were able to walk to the beach with ease. We were close to everything. The upstairs deck got plenty of sun and underneath the house was nice and breezy. The only issue we had were the amount of towels. It was not a major problem since the washer and dryer worked perfectly and we just washed them. We would book this house again and again. The hosts answered our emails immediately.

Ideal Beach House

My family stayed at this house while our daughter competed in a Beach Volleyball tournament. We chose it due to the ease of walking distance to the beach and the quiet neighborhood. We would gladly stay here again due to the location, comfort, spaciousness and overall satisfaction of working with the owners.

Great location and Awesome host!!

From the moment we booked this house the host were super informative and responsive. They even allowed us to check in early which rarely happens when we travel. The house was clean, cute and cozy. My fur baby loved the back yard and my husband loved the location. It was around the corner from the liquor store and across the street from the beach. We will definitely stay here in the future.

Great location, good value

It was great having restaurants in walking distance. Publix was just 10 min away. The only downsides were the front door, which only open halfway and outlets in the bathroom don’t support a blow dryer. There are some cosmetic issues with the ceilings in the bathrooms. Wish we knew how to use Roku to get local channels,

Great spot

It was very easy checking in and out and out. My dogs liked the back yard and it’s two blocks from the beach. Plenty of kitchen and living room space. Outdoor shower is useful for the dogs and the sand from the beach. A couple of very minor cosmetic issues (like the front door isn’t perfectly squared) but we never tan out of hot water (a big deal to me), and we all had a great time
