The historic home is upgraded, beautifully decorated, and meticulously cleaned. The space is designed for family-friendly entertainment with two spacious porches and open spaces.

Great Getaway

We decided to take a last minute trip to the beach. This property worked perfectly for us. Lots of room for our family and walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants!

Cute house that needs attention

The property needs attention. The pics are misleading, the deck is old and we could not hang out there. The HVAC is so inconsistent, hot and cold. Owner should have an instruction book for the house. The location is great for events.

The perfect getaway spot

This cozy bungalow has the perfect location.. walkable to the Seawall and short drive to all the Galveston attractions. Has all the comforts of home. I know where I want to stay on my next visit to the island!

Short review

Overall great place, just wish it was a little cleaner for anyone allergic to dogs/cats either owner or previous occupants had a pet. Pet hair was on floor/couches. Overall, for an overnight stay was not bad. There is remodeling being completed.

Beautiful Home

We had a great time at this home. Location was great. Amenities good. The only issue we had was with a tricky door -- where we needed to pull the door toward us for 3 second while we waited for the deadbolt to turn. If they get that fixed -- it will be perfect. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Owner was very accommodating. Easy to communicate with. House was perfect. Great location to Seawall and the Strand for our visit to the Lonestar Bike Rally.

Didn't meet expectations

The cleanliness of the home was the biggest disappointing factor. The bathroom faucet had toothpaste spit, the toilet had an orange ring around it, and mirror/counter/toilet needed wiping. The kitchen counters were dirty. The garbage disposal was smelled horrible. There was an infestation of fruit flies or gnats. My husband and I went to the store to get cleaning supplies (because we didn't find appropriate cleaners in the house) and cleaned before the rest of the family got there. We didn't turn on the ceiling fans because they were so dusty and dirty I felt it would spread dust around if we turned them on. We put baking soda down the disposal to help with the smell. There was only one extra roll of toilet paper, so I bought some more just in case. In addition to the home not being "meticulously clean", I would not call it fully upgraded either due to the bathtub which is old and caulking is failing. We did like the bath towels and that there was a gas stove. The location was very good and as described.

Cute house near the beach

This was a great house, with a super short walk to the beach. The host was really good at communicating and very nice. The beds were comfy and the balcony was a favorite place of ours. My group had a fantastic stay at an awesome house!

Great little stay before Cruise

You won’t be distance

My family and I enjoyed our stay here.; the beds were so comfortable. The beach was about 4-5 blocks away. I had a few questions about the property, and the response time was rapid. I would book again.

Great property for our group of 7 adults

One bathroom made us a little nervous but we all really enjoyed our stay and it worked out good. It was nice having 3 bedrooms for the 3 couples. If you have adults staying on the couch bring extra blankets for a little more cushion but would be great for kids. Even room for an air mattress or something else in the living room or in bedrooms if needed. Also there is only a coffee press which was not nearly enough for us. I ended up stopping and grabbing a coffee pot on the way down after my parents arrived and we realized that’s all there was. Again though location was great and so was the property manager. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you
