Great getaway

Perfect stay for a small group or family looking for a low key and fun time at the beach! Less than 5 minutes walking distance to the beach and Main Street, also very close to asbury park via the boardwalk. Great location!

Stayed over July 4th weekend

6 of us stayed in this unit and we all had a place to sleep! It was a perfect size and very close to the beach. Clean, good communication, etc. Would totally stay here again

Great location. Clean & comfortable facility. 1 block from a beach! & charming neighborhood. First room you enter functions as bedroom with trundle bed with a door. Other bedroom has large bed, more private. Cozy living room, kitchen well stocked, washer/dryer, remodeled bathoom. Nice enclosed front porch is shared with other guests. Pleasant stay.

Great location

The apartment is small but would be very comfortable for a couple or small family. The kitchen is well stocked. Communication with the manager was excellent. The sofabed is not great, but the two real beds are comfortable. And the location is fantastic -- a block to the main street and two blocks to the beach.

Great location

Overall this was a good place- fantastic location, lovely front porch, great communication and check in/out process, great amenities (beach passes, towels, toiletries). Cons were that the apartment needed minor repairs, kitchen was usable but not fully stocked, and overall it was a bit small (shower is small but nice, but bathroom is tiny). Location to the beach and town were just what we needed for our short stay.

Bridgefest 2023

I booked at the Allenhurst for Beidgefest 2023. Apartment #1 was perfect for my family! Ample space and so close to all of the weekend activities. The unit was extremely clean and the manager Danielle was a doll. We will definitely be staying here again!

Pieces of fans missing so difficult to turn on. Refrigerator leaks. Small amount of cooking pans. TV operation confusing. Dirty floors. Loved the front porch! Bathroom good! Kitchen good.

Short stay in Ocean Grove

After traveling to a meeting in central New Jersey we decided to spend two nights at the shore, our first time in Ocean Grove, a delightful shore town. This property is very nicely located, a short walk to the beach, to downtown, and to some of the best restaurants. The apartment was clean, quiet and comfortable, Room air conditioners kept the apartment very comfortable. The bathroom is quite small, but has a shower, a sink, and a small toilet, therefore adequate at least for the two of us. The TV offered the Hulu channel and one could log onto one's other app accounts with proper log in information. The furnishings are, again, comfortable albiet a bit worn. Overall we had a good stay and especially enjoyed the location of this apartment.

This was a very poor rental experience.The unit was clearly not cleaned before our arrival. There was urine on the bathroom walls (appearing to be from a dog), the microwave was full of food crumbs, and the stovetop and counters were dirty. The furniture had visible stains from spills that had not been wiped down, and there was even a random dog bone left on the floor, which was concerning since I had my own dog with me.Basic necessities were not provided, no hand soap in the bathroom and no detergent for the washer/dryer.We notified the hosts immediately and sent photos. A cleaner was eventually sent, but she barely addressed the issue, quickly wiped part of the wall, showed clear attitude, and tried to leave. We had to stop her to wipe the microwave. Even after that, there was still urine left on the wall that was never properly cleaned.Communication was extremely poor. Messages were ignored or met with generic, copy/paste responses, and no meaningful effort was made to fix the situation.Overall, the property felt neglected and poorly managed. The beds were rock hard and the entire setup felt like the absolute bare minimum.I would strongly advise avoiding this rental. It is not worth the risk, spend more and stay somewhere that is actually clean and properly maintained.

We had a great time! The place was clean, as advertised, and very quiet and peaceful. The location was excellent, half a block from Days and Nagles, and so close to the beach. Would stay here again.

Great place with a dog

We stayed with our very senior dog and it worked out very well. Access to the screened in porch was great for all of us. Lots of dog owners in the building made it very comfortable. The apartment was fine, although it is advertised as a 2 bedroom but one of the bedrooms is a walk through from the porch to the living areas, lack of privacy. I'm always hot and ended up sleeping in the walk through bedroom because the air conditioner worked well there but main bedroom was too warm for me. Rental comes with great beach chairs, beach, umbrellas and towels making it very convenient. Kitchen could use more dishes, bowls, glassware and plastic ones for the beach would be great All in all, would stay there again.
