This fully renovated, spacious coastal retreat sits just steps from Sound View and Miami beaches, offering an open floor plan designed for family comfort and entertaining. The property features ceiling fans in every room, an outdoor shower, a private fenced courtyard for outdoor activities, ample off-street parking, and outdoor security cameras. Fully furnished for immediate vacation use, the home includes all essential supplies such as linens, towels, blankets, pillows, beach chairs, paper products, and cleaning pods. It is conveniently situated five miles from a Big Y supermarket and close to regional highlights like Chamard Vineyards, Mystic Aquarium, Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets, Clinton Antiques Center, Foxwoods, and Mohegan Sun.

The local beach community offers free outdoor concerts, children's crafts, a carousel, bingo nights, movie nights, a pavilion, a nightclub, and Kokomo’s restaurant and beach bar. Nearby cultural landmarks include Goose Island, the Florence Griswold Museum, the Connecticut Impressionist Art Trail, and local sculpture gardens. Guests can also purchase premium add-on experiences, including custom chauffeured luxury vehicle tours of three to five wineries or breweries across Middlesex and New Haven Counties. Available offshore adventures feature high-speed boat rentals, tubing, waterskiing, and private day or sunset charters to Newport, Montauk, Sag Harbor, Block Island, Duck Island, and Greenport.

The rental operates under strict seasonal booking frameworks, with cancellations governed by the attached lease agreement. The summer season runs from May 14 to September 30, enforcing a one-week minimum stay that must begin on a Friday; stays shorter than seven days are permitted but require a direct inquiry for non-standard pricing. Discounted long-term and academic winter rentals are available from October through May, with posted rates reflecting short-term winter pricing only. Guests must submit an inquiry before booking any reservations shorter than seven days or lasting 30 days or longer.

We had an amazing week. The house was fantastic. A block away from two local beaches that the owner had beach passes for the guests. Wagon with beach chairs were put to good use. Could not have asked for a better place. Located conveniently near Niantic and Old Saybrook.

Superb Property!

What a fantastic stay. he home was beautiful and modern with new furnishings. The host was great and responsive to our needs. There was tons of stuff to do and the host also had a list of activities that he offers. Book this property it's worth it.

July 4th vacation

Gorgeous remodeled property short walk to beach with fully equipped kitchen for a comfortable stay! Highly recommended this rental property, and Donnie was very responsive to inquiries about private beach access. Paid Parking for extra vehicle is across street and pricing can be high on a holiday week.

Not the best stay

The property manager reached out to me after I booked online ( but before my booking was confirmed) to increase the nightly fee, because we weren’t staying a week. As this was a last minute stay, I didn’t have time to procure another booking, but I thought this was a shady practice, because he can control his settings in Vrbo for changes in daily rates. He could have also noted this in the info about the property. The property was clean upon arrival, but it became clear they have an ant problem. We found ants in the downstairs bathroom, the living room floor and on kitchen counters. The patio can only be accessed by leaving the house and entering through a rear gate, but the fire pit and furnishings are the highlight of the property. I also think it’s odd that the owner doesn’t provide bath towels. We were traveling from TX and had to buy towels upon arrival. I left them there, so hopefully another guest won’t have the same inconvenience.

Beth, we are sorry you felt that way. However maybe you did not remember our conversation we had about the rate and towels before booking the reservation. We made it clear that the towels were not included and the rates listed were based on a 7 day minimum as posted in our advertisement before you booked the reservation . As far as the ants we never received any call during your stay nor have we ever had an ant issue at the property. Further more we had the property inspected after your stay and there were absolutely no signs of an ant problem or existence. perhaps you added that to further your negative review. We have always been transparent about our rates and things that are not included in the rental. We have never had a negative review from any customers who rented any of our properties.

Great Ocean View Property

My family and I were impressed with this property. The home was modern and very clean. The air conditioning was great and the house was very comfortable. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. Overall I would book this property you will not be disappointed.
