About this property

Teton Tiny Home Summa

Summary:
This is a tiny home located 21 miles from Jackson, 24 miles from Grand Teton National Park, and is in a convenient downtown location. This home is next door to a large, beautiful park, close to a grocery store, gas, and several great restaurants. Update 9/24: We now have fast internet (372mbps)!

The Space:
Picked as one of the 9 Gorgeous Airbnb's near Grand Teton National Park on the tripstodiscover(dot)com site, here is what they have to say about the Teton Tiny home. "This tiny home is all you need, plus some when planning a vacation to Grand Teton National Park. Located close enough, but not too far away, the newly constructed abode is in Victor. Encapsulate yourself within the fragrant cedar walls, enjoy endless cozy nights in the loft and appreciate the subtly lavish kitchen."
This gorgeous, one of a kind tiny home was built in 2018-2019. It was tastefully designed with rough cut 1"x8" cedar walls. There are a variety of finishes to the cedar to give it a truly unique look. The kitchen has quartz countertops, under cabinet lights, a uniquely compact oven, and has some mid-century modern designed appliances including a record player with an assortment of records. The flooring is a luxury vinyl that is waterproof and very durable. All the furniture is mid-century modern, including the sofa which also pulls out into a twin bed. Overall, the floor plan is a studio. There are 2 lofts with queen beds, so a total of 5 can sleep on beds. The bathroom is small but fully functional. The kitchen has a small fridge, microwave, toaster, oven, toaster oven, hot plate, stove top, coffee maker, rice cooker, pots and cookware, and has dishes and silverware. Although the home is tiny, there is still a 50 gallon water heater! There is wifi on the property. This tiny home is for the adventurous. You need to climb ladders to get into the lofts. The living space is only 320 square feet. If you want a unique, one-of-a-kind experience staying in an adorable, tastefully decorated tiny home, this will be perfect for you!

Guest Access:
You are able to access everything that is within the tiny home.

The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is in the quiet town of Victor, Idaho. It is very safe, very small, and very cute. The house is next door to a large park with a playground, bike park, dog park, paved pathway, ice rink, and (in the winter) a groomed nordic ski track.

Getting Around:
The tiny home is actually very close to the public transit station where you can take the START bus over to Jackson.

Other Things to Note:
The tiny home is located behind the home that is at 160 Elm St. You park on the same driveway to the far left and there is a walkway that takes you directly to the tiny home

Interaction with Guests:
We live in the area and try to quickly respond to any questions you may have. Also, I am well versed in knowledge about the hiking, biking, skiing, etc, in the area if you would like any advice. I can also give you restaurant tips for both Victor and Jackson.

Cute place
We were surprised by how roomy the home was and liked the ease of parking, check in, and check out. Everything went smoothly other than there was no ice melt on the sidewalk outside of the home so several of us slipped many times. My husband slipped and fell pretty hard again when we were leaving.

Great location/house, needy host
We had a good stay at this tiny home. Ideal location for visiting Jackson and Teton national park without having to pay for the closer accommodations. Some oddities about it, but it's as pictured and described. It's nicely built, has a decent amount of space in the common area, included parking, and had plenty of hot water. As the downsides, it is compact: shower required tight maneuvering and the lofts wouldn't work well for a larger person. We certainly hit our heads a few times on the ceiling. As far as the host, I certainly appreciated the local recommendations and the quick/easy tips for the place itself. What I didn't like is the incessant messaging leading up to our stay, followed by the 4 follow-up messages soon after we left (while we're still actively on vacation) to leave them a review. I would have likely given a 5 star review, but I won't when I'm sleezily requested too.

Stayed here two nights while we visited the grand Tetons. It is the closest you can really get if you don’t want to spend Jackson prices. The host was very responsive. The tiny house is little and is a little hard to get up into the loft if you’re not skinny. Really to only thing that was say about the place. They even provided bear spray which was very nice!

Quiet and peaceful location.
Very nice property. Accessing the lofts does require some agility which might be a problem for some. Loved the porch and use of the grill.

Perfect!
The Tiny house was absolutely perfect. We stayed one night on our road trip and I wish we could have stayed longer. The house is adorable, the host was great, and communication was great. You can easily walk from the house to the Main Street for breakfast or dinners. Highly recommend staying here!

Host was super nice and responsive. There was construction going on at the property and for safety reasons, Sven moved us to another location a few minutes away. The alternate property was amazing. Really appreciated the consideration for our safety.

So much attention to detail in this little place! The house was simply and beautifully decorated and so clean. The tiny kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner and breakfast (cutting boards, knives, pans, bowls, forks, a few spices, microwave, etc) and there was plenty of seating for our 5 person family at dinner and relaxing TV time. There is a park right next door plus a walking trail and both were perfect to get some energy out after a long day on the road with 3 young kids. At bedtime the kids were excited to crawl up in the loft and our parent loft above the kitchen felt very study for 2 adults. The beds were also very comfortable. The premises was a little torn up as they are currently expanding on their land but it didn’t affect our stay one bit. So glad to have found this quaint place and we highly recommend it!

Wonderful!
This tiny home was so cute and in a convenient location— with Jackson WY only 35 minutes away and Grand Teton just under an hour. The drive is scenic and Victor— along with the few other surrounding towns— offer a perfect mountain feel. We stayed for 3 nights and had absolutely no issues. Affordable, clean, and just what we needed!

Super cute house
We loved this tiny home! It’s in a great location. We were able to go to the Tetons within 30 min. The house is very well stocked and a lot of thought was put in to decor and essentials. It’s surprisingly roomy except for the shower, which is very small and has a rain shower head. So if you don’t wash your hair every day bring a shower cap or do some gymnastics. Still 5/5 would stay again!

My partner and I stopped here for 2 nights during a cross country move - what a great place! Perfect home base for a visit to Grand Teton. Loved the local shops and restaurants, too. The door code we were given didn't work when we first arrived, but Sven got us access within 5 minutes. Thanks Sven for a great stay!

Tiny House for the Win!
We loved this place. Really nice, cool tiny house in Victor, close to lots of backcountry experiences. The house is walkable to Victor with a few restaurants and bars to choose from. The house itself is cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were a little concerned that staying on another property would be weird, but we found it to be quite the opposite. We had a nice little corner to ourselves. I will stay here each time I come to the area. Thank you for a great stay.

Tiny House was a Blast
The home was exquisitely decorated, staffed with everything we needed, and super comfortable. We had a designated parking spot and the location was private. We loved experiencing the loft beds. The host was wonderful and returned texts and calls. The small town of Victor is quaint with a small market and restaurants are within a few blocks. I'd recommend this VRBO highly.
