Welcome to Lazy Oaks, a 28 acre cattle ranch

Relax & unwind on 28 acres of our working cattle ranch. Comfortable one-story house with modern amenities out in the country, perfectly situated between Fayetteville & Round Top and close to Fayette Lake and La Grange. Plenty of antiquing & restaurants within 10-15 min drive from house. Perfect for romantic getaways, friends trips, or family vacations. Feel free to bring the dogs who will be safe in our completely fenced in large yard with plenty of room to run. Enjoy coffee or wine on the spacious porch, sit around the cozy living room or make dinner in the fully appointed kitchen. There's always plenty of room at the table.

There is a well & septic system. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed - please dispose in trash can.

Great stay in between Fayetteville and Round Top

We had a great girls’ trip this weekend. Beautiful (and quiet) setting, and it was a perfect spot for shopping the Round Top antique show. Will definitely keep this spot in mind for future stays!

We loved staying at the Lazy Oaks while we were attending our niece's wedding in Round Top. The house sits on a lovely property -- we enjoyed the beautiful oak trees and the porch late at night and early morning. The house was perfect for our needs, really clean, and well stocked. Our communication with the owners before, during, and after our visit was amazing.

We had so much fun. We loved the space and the property was so pretty! The back porch was awesome and the beds were super comfy. Would for sure stay here again! Also loved the oversized towels!!

Perfect Round Top Girls Getaway

This house was perfect for a girls weekend spent in Warrenton & Round Top! 5 girls with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living area. Close to both Warrenton and Round Top but with a country feel and host was amazing with our needs:)

Fantastic location for our trip to Round Top. Could not have been more pleased with the location and the home. We were a party of six adults and the house worked perfectly for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing getaway

Peaceful, relaxing getaway. 5 mins from the lake. Very well stocked-kitchen, bathroom and items for dogs. Loved the pond and patio too. Makes me want to live in the country.

Really Pretty, Easy Weekend Getaway

A perfect halfway meetup point between Houston and Austin! The property was great and clean with just a few more bugs inside than we were expecting. They catered the stay well to dog owners (we both brought our dogs). Looking forward to returning!

Lazy Oaks Ranch

We enjoyed our stay at Lazy Oaks. It was well appointed and perfect location for our excursions to and from Round Top. Everyone was comfortable and we loved seeing the cows and deer grazing the pasture. Could not have asked for a better weekend. Thanks Eric and Laura for sharing your place with us.

Quiet and Serene

My girlfriends and I loved the location. Less than 10 minutes to Warrenton shopping. The home is located in the country so we enjoyed a glass of wine outside in one of the sitting areas on the property wihle enjoying the views. Will definitely lease again while in the area.
