Welcome to Happy Days, a thoughtfully designed coastal retreat offering unique finishes with its own private pool. Start the day with a sunrise walk on the beach or a relaxing cup of coffee at one of the local cafes. While at home, gather with family and friends and enjoy the refreshing private pool and additional features inside the backyard oasis. Enjoy the ease of vacationing in a single story home that’s re-designed with the perfect blend of leisure and convenience.
The Space:
The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for gourmet family meals. There are two bedroom suites offering privacy on opposite ends of the home with private spa-like bathrooms. There are two guest bedrooms in the middle of the home, one with two twin bunk beds, and the other with two twin beds. A conveniently located hall bathroom is accessible across the hall for twin and bunk rooms. Numerous technology features exist throughout the home including Roku smart TV’s, smart thermostats/accessibility, and the fastest fiber optic high speed wireless internet.
When you're not cooling off in the pool (which has the option to be heated during October-April reservations for only $70/night!) or enjoying our beautiful beach, enjoy the numerous eateries and dining options just a short golf cart ride away. The recreation department is one block away and offers an array of activities including tennis, basketball, soccer and baseball fields, and a great playground. Our home is stocked with basketballs, baseballs, soccer and footballs, tennis rackets/balls, and other fun family items.
Isle of Palms is a top choice for domestic and international coastal getaways offering a unique blend of a quiet beach getaway coupled with nearby historic Charleston which is widely known for its rich history and sought after dining.
BEFORE BOOKING, please contact us about your pet. Happy Days vacation home is a the perfect place to stay with your family or friends. We are ideally situated on the quiet side of Isle of Palms, with convenient access to the islands best offerings. Make memories while enjoying a cool re-freshing swim in the private pool, outdoor or indoor games such as corn hole and ladders, or a day at the beach.
Happy Days vacation home is pet friendly and provides space for up to ten guests. The living room features a huge oversize sectional sofa for movie night and is stocked with numerous classic board games. The home features a fully equipped kitchen perfect for preparing meals. Hotel quality luxury linens are provided and professionally laundered after between stays. One side of the home features a private bedroom with king size bed and a spa like en suite bathroom including a stand up shower. Two additional bedrooms are located on this half of the home, one bedroom features two twin bunk beds and the other bedroom two twin beds. A guest bathroom with tub/shower is located across the hall from these bedrooms. The opposite side of the home features an additional private bedroom with king size bed and spa like en suite bathroom including a stand up shower. Please note, that due to our extensive cleaning process, we are rarely able to accommodate early check in times. Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am.
The Neighborhood:
Ideally situated on the quiet side of the Isle of Palms, the home is approximately 300 yards or a 1.5 minute golf cart ride to beach access points. We are one block or a 1 minute golf cart ride to the recreation center. The island grocery store and multiple dining options are a 4 minute golf cart ride. The marina market is a 5 minute golf cart ride. Golf carting is the ideal way to navigate the island, various golf cart rental options exist throughout the island. Downtown Charleston is a 25 minute drive.

The Happy Days home is professionally managed by Nest Isle of Palms Vacation Homes, a local boutique vacation home management company based on Isle of Palms.
If your group is looking for a party house or plans to be loud and disruptive, this home will not be a good fit.

We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for parties or loud gatherings of any kind.

If excessive noise or disruptive behavior is reported by neighbors or detected, guests will be subject to immediate eviction without refund.

PET POLICY:
****Prior to booking a message including breed, age, and size of dog/s must be submitted****Well-behaved dogs are considered at designated pet-friendly homes. A non-refundable pet fee of $200 per pet applies. Vrbo includes one pet in the initial booking; any additional pets will be billed after reservation confirmation.
Pets must not be left unattended at the property and are not permitted on furniture. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets during their stay.
No cats or other animals are permitted. Failure to disclose a pet will result in a minimum $1,000 charge for deep cleaning and restoration. Any pet-related damage is the guest’s responsibility and will be billed accordingly.

This property was incredible. Perfect for our family vacation. One of our best vacation rental experiences (and we’ve had many). Nick made check in and check out painless (even light management of rental deliveries for transportation, childcare, and equipment for our children). Walking distance to the beach and short golf cart ride to the shopping center with grocery store and everything else you’d need. Would highly recommend and hope to get a chance to visit again. The property was amazing! Even better than the online photos show. It was very clean and included everything we needed for our stay and even some things we didn’t know we needed! The property owner stayed in touch during our entire stay, so we knew if we needed anything it would be addressed. The property owner suggested that we rent a golf cart for our stay and we are so glad we did. This property was perfect for our multigenerational family. We would definitely book this property again.

Great stay at Happy Days. My wife and I were visiting our daughter in Charleston and planning her wedding for next year. We opted to stay out in IOP vs. our normal hotel downtown. This turned out to be a great move. Nick and Stacy have curated a 5-star experience in a beautiful residential home. The house is spotless, well-appointed with everything you need for your stay. Some small things I appreciated are that all tv's are equipped with a Roku and are controlled with one remote...all your personal streaming services are only a few clicks away. There is a nice klipsch speaker in the family room that can easily stream music from your phone, which we used often while playing cards or eating dinner. The pool is comfortable, private, and quiet. Nick is very responsive to any questions or concerns. My wife left some medication, which Nick overnighted to us right away free of charge. Happy Days is the equivalent to staying at a top Charleston hotel, but you have the benefit of an entire house as opposed to a 500 sqft room. Highly recommended and we will likely be repeat customers.

Nick’s home was the perfect getaway. Everything was smooth, the house is perfect for families, the beach is 5 minutes away and the yard and pool were very relaxing. Every beach need is houses in the small shed in the yard. I highly recommend Happy Place and would love to come back again.
The house itself was amazing and had everything we needed. Great signs and instructions throughout made living easy. fully stocked from top to bottom. The host were a 100 out of 10. Great communication and so easy to deal with and so informative.
My family and I (mom, sister + husband and puppy) had a wonderful stay at Happy Days. Nick was extremely communicative from the time of booking throughout our stay and the house is even better than pictured. Everything was spotless and we had everything we could possibly need for a week's stay, from towels/linens, to laundry and kitchen supplies. Not to mention the amazing pool and backyard complete with plenty of pool and beach toys. The backyard and pool were so nice we barely spent any time at the beach, but it's only a short 5 min walk from the house as well. Grocery store (Harris Teeter) is a quick drive along with plenty of restaurants on IOP and it's easy to get over to Sullivan's Island and Charleston as well if you're looking to explore further. There were some Wifi challenges to start, but Nick had advised us of this before arrival and quickly got us the code to a backup Wifi network that was strong enough for streaming TV, Zoom calls for work and surfing the Internet without issue. Thanks for a great stay, Nick!
This place is an excellent spot to enjoy some beach time on Isle of Palms. The owners have done a great job of transforming this unassuming ranch into an amazing spot. So beautiful inside and out and there was plenty of space in the kitchen/living area for all of us to spread out yet still hang out with each other. There was plenty of bed space for the seven of us with 3 extra beds to spare. If you plan on cooking some meals during your trip, this kitchen has just about everything you would need and plenty of space to do it in. There is also a bar/coffee area with a built-in wine cooler. My kids (teenaged) loved the pool and honestly spent more time at the pool than they did at the beach. There are plenty of chairs, pool toys and other beach items on site.
Nick (the owner) communicated with us about some potential internet issues that were going on and had worked on it prior to our arrival. He checked back with us to make sure everything was okay. With Nick's recommendation early on, we reserved a golf cart for the week with a local place which was a game changer. If you are staying on IOP, a golf cart is the way to go. Only a couple of minutes drive to the beach and there are places you can park the golf cart. We even were close enough to use the golf cart to ride over to the local grocery store when we needed a couple of items. This is overall a great place to stay. It is close enough to the beach and the other restaurants/businesses on IOP but still far enough away from the beach traffic that you can relax and have some peace and quiet.
Everything is as stated in the description. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The accommodations are extremely clean and comfortable. The pool was a perfect place to come back to after sending a day at the beach. The host were also very responsive and accommodating. We look forward to our next stay at Happy Days!
