Could not have been more pleased. We had the rec facility 1 block over and the ocean 1 block in front. All the rooms were very comfortable and well suited for a groups of 11 who ranged in age from 6 mos to 95 yrs. We are also a family that loves to cook and the kitchen-dining room was well stocked and suited all our needs.

This house is, by leaps and bounds, the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed in on vacation! Absolutely stunning and super clean! The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need, as was the rest of the house. Soooo many pool/beach towels, beach chairs, beach carts, and toys and games for the kids. The elevator was an absolute life saver for my special needs son and my father-in-law that can’t go up and down stairs very well. We literally unloaded the car into the garage and right into the elevator. It was so nice not having to lug everything up the stairs. The decor was beautiful and so homey. The couches were extremely comfortable and the air conditioning worked great! The outdoor spaces were also top notch. Also, the beds were so comfortable! I’m picky about mattresses and it was fantastic! There was so many places for the entire family to sit and relax as well as eat our meals. I could go on and on about how great this house is. I did NOT want to leave. The only advice I can give is to watch out for sand spurs on your way out to the beach! We thought we were clear to take our shoes off once we got off the grass but quickly learned to keep our shoes on until hitting the real soft sand beach. Stay here! You will not be disappointed! Thank you, Martha, for being such an amazing host! We would love to return.

Extremely nice and well equipped home for our family beach trip. We had 5 adult, 5 teenagers and 1 child and all eleven of us were comfortable accommodated.The beach is only a partial block walk from the home and it was beautiful. We hit the weather just right this time.

Everything was fully stocked in the kitchen and plenty of sand toys and chairs and beach carts to transport the Littles back-and-forth to the beach. The pool was a wonderful plus as well. Extremely comfortable. An absolute pleasure for our beach stay.

Another Great Experience at Ocean's Song

We stayed at Ocean's Song for 2 weeks 2 years ago - and our sons and families joined us. It was so great that we decided to do it again - 2 years later. We recently completed our 2-week stay and could not have been happier. The house is wonderful and laid-out to make it really family-friendly. Everything you need is there, except food and drink; monogrammed beach towels, a well-appointed kitchen, TVs everywhere, great Internet, etc. We really appreciated the pool and the elevator, and the beach was a short walk away. However, the things that most define the house are its quality, cleanliness, attention to detail (e.g., all the light switches are labeled), and the sense that the owners really care about the house and their guests. Perhaps the biggest compliment came from our sons and their families - they asked if we could do this again in 2 years, and we plan to do so.

Excellent place to stay in IOP

We stayed here - My wife and I, our 3 girls, My sister and her husband and their 3 girls, and our parents (6 adults & 6 kids). This house was perfect for us. This was probably the cleanest, nicest, and most well maintained VRBO we've ever stayed in. The kitchen was probably the best stocked we've ever had also.The internet was fast (good for streaming TV and for us to work). It was nice to have a separate office to set my laptop up in to work during the trip, and I could leave it out the whole time and not have to move it.The pool was great for the kids. The IOP park was one block away. Even with 12 of us in the house all taking showers in the evening and doing the dishes after dinner, we never ran out of hot water. The garage was very clean and it was great to have all that space in the garage to store things including the bikes we had rented for the week.It was a one block walk to the beach access and the chairs and wagons provided worked great for our beach visits. The only downside I can think of was that the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom were on the top floor; so that was 2 flights of stairs up. But there is an elevator if needed. We used the elevator to bring up groceries and suitcases, but most of the time just used the stairs. Highly recommend this house for a family or group of friends with kids.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean's Song. The location was excellent with easy access to the beach. There was a park/playground within 2 blocks that our 6-year old really enjoyed. The grocery store and numerous restaurants were within a 5-minute golf cart ride that we rented for our stay.The house itself was very clean and organized. It was furnished with everything we needed for any cooking we wanted to do. We spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch on the 2nd level. Everyday started with coffee and breakfast on there and we usually enjoyed at least one other meal on it as well. What a great space!The host was very responsive with any questions we had. We would definitely stay again.

5 years of family fun!

This was our 5th year in a row of vacationing with family at Ocean’s Song. This property never disappoints and Martha always makes sure all our needs are met. There is plenty of room for the 12 of us including our Boykin Spaniel this year. We look forward to returning next year! Thanks Martha for sharing this wonderful vacation home with us!

Perfect Vacation

This was the best house we ever rented. Martha definitely goes out of her way with all the little touches from the little soaps in all the bathrooms to the stuffed turtle our grandson fell in love with in the kids bedroom. The house had absolutely everything!!! The ice machine was very much appreciated as was the screened in porch.Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a stress free vacation!

Wonderful week in IOP

We just spent a fantastic week in IOP. The weather was great, but the comfort and location of this house was what made it special. The home is beautifully decorated with a beach theme, but not over the top. The house was clean, the appliances were in good working order, and the layout made our family of 8 have the ability to be together without feeling crowded. Harris Teeter was within a 5 min drive, and the recreation dept park was only 2 blocks away. We went to the beach every day so the chairs and sand wagons that came with the house really simplified things.I would rent this house again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful home in a great location

The house was beautiful and immaculately kept! A perfect place for extended family to stay together. We loved the proximity to the beach and the rec center (playground and dog park) as well. Martha was super helpful and communicative for any questions. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent Home for Family Reunion

A very special home on the Isle of Palms. Clean with every amenity available. Being January, we did not use the pool or outside areas. The elevator was a great help for our group, some who had physical impairments. The porches were very comfortable. The kitchen well stocked with very nice appliances. Living room furniture is very comfortable but hard to get out of being so soft. Loved the details this owner addressed like labels on every light and fan switch, wonderful soap, decor very coastal and attractive. Thank you for sharing this lovely home with us. Would definitely return again. 5 star home all the way.

Wonderful memories

Family vacation with grandparents, aunt and uncle, house was gorgeous and well taken care of, elevator was perfect to help grandparents get up and down, master suit was beautiful, host was great at staying in touch before and throughout our stay, young children (3 and 5) loved the closeness to the beach and park, we also found a great playground at park circle in North Charleston tgat is highly recommended, would definitely recommend the property and stay there again if we ever have the chance

Beautiful Home

We were in town for a family wedding. The house was everything and more than expected! The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable! My large family had so much room to spread out! The pool area was awesome as well as the short walk to the beach! Would definitely stay there again!

Hello! We are The Pleasants and The Sowers. We purchased Ocean’s Song in July of 2017. We found the previous owners (Linda and Bill Letson) to be very meticulous in everything regarding the management of the property. We are keeping very busy with the high standards that were set and adding a few nice touches that we believe renters will enjoy.
We have been vacationing on Isle of Palms for decades and felt it was a perfect time in our lives to take a leap of faith. We are so glad we did because this house is phenomenal with its convenient location to the Rec. Center, Grocery store, downtown IOP, Wild Dunes, golf courses, fishing, and the beach.
Our hope is that you will get the same enjoyment out of staying at Ocean’s Song as we do. It is truly set-up to be comfortable and spacious for individual families or larger family gatherings. Anytime of year is always a perfect time to put your toes in the sand and to relax…life is always better when spent on the beach with family and friends. That is why we purchased this upscale property.

Location, Location, Location!!! One short block to the beach and one short block to the Isle of Palms Rec. Center**!! AND 20 min to downtown Charleston and 25 minutes to Charleston International Airport. ** The Isle of Palms [IOP] Rec Center is one block away and has a gym, exercise room, outdoor tennis, basketball, baseball and soccer courts, and a playground area for smaller children. There is also a fenced Dog Park, with separate areas for large and small dogs.

As owners, we care VERY MUCH about our guests!! We personally manage every detail -- very much UNLIKE a professional "Rental Agency"!!

This is reflected in the wonderful amenities in the house and the overall décor! In renting Ocean's Song, you will arrive to a SPOTLESSLY clean home with everything ready you for your visit!!! We 'micro manage' the home to ensure that things are as lovely as possible, and that you have the supplies you need for your stay -- you will not have to purchase anything extra, it is all there, plus many extras!!

And if any problems should arise, I am available by phone 24/7... I have an entire crew of professionals who can handle any situation/problem, within a few hours!! So..... no need to worry that we are in North Carolina.... you, and your problem, are never more than a call away!!
