We stayed for three nights. We did not rent a car. We used Uber. They were usually at the house in 3 minutes. No issues at all. Use the pin you were given to find the property as your location for the driver. We saved hundreds of dollars doing this and did not have the hassle of finding our way around. Pool was great. Took pictures of birds every morning in the shrub outside the back door. Thanks for everything.

The location was great! Quiet neighborhood! The shower didn't produce hot water- maybe we weren't operating it correctly and if that's the case, maybe they can leave instructions on how to get it hot. Needed a few more wash clothes but other than that, all was great.

There was not a private pool , like the picture was showing. There was a pool but had to be share with others. On top of that, it was only available for the first 2 days. It was out of service for all the other days of the week. I chose this cabin especialy for the pool. Very disapointed.
No water in the pool. Could not use it.

We would My wife and I enjoyed five nights at the villa. Pre-arrival coordination was excellent. I requested a WhatsApp phone number to use since VRBO email is clumsy and Angie provided a number we communicated with throughout the stay. Here is some input to help future potential renters. The shower, mentioned in some past reviews, has an electric shower head heater…barely turn water on to get warmest water…the more water is turned on the cooler it will be.The villa has hundreds of TV channels…best of any VRBO rental we have had.The high efficiency stacked washer/dryer worked fantastically!!! A collapsible drying is available to air dry clothes if desired.The carport has an electrical outlet available if you rent an electric car.The glass top stove with oven worked perfectly. We baked pork chops and chicken breasts…we brought a baking pan and left it for future renters. The A/C units worked perfectly to remove humidity and cool the unit.The villa’s compound has an episodic daily armed security guard presence. We felt very safe at the villa. The villa has many 110V outlets.We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Gem!

We had a fantastic stay here. Super clean, safe, easy to get in/out and close to town and all there is to do in the area. We don’t use the pool (too busy) but it was clean, and close. The view of the volcano was superb and it was a very quiet place to stay.

Great Place

We loved this property! Very clean and comfortable. Saw a sloth and a toucan about a block away. The sounds of the wildlife at night were an added bonus! Had no problems but when we had questions they were answered promptly and completely.

We are a family that loves to travel to charming places and especially to enjoy nature. When traveling we like to find the necessary comforts and services for a good stay, that is why we offer our guests the comfort they deserve.

Why they chose this property

My family and I were looking for a property where we could vacation surrounded by nature, with a swimming pool nearby, away from the noise of the city but at the same time close to the center and tourist places.

This cabin met these requirements. Little by little we were adding some other comforts and giving it a more welcoming style. We loved the end result, that's why we didn't want to keep this beautiful and quiet place just for ourselves, so we decided to share it with tourists who also want to enjoy a cozy place with all the comforts while enjoying the natural beauties of La Fortuna.
We will soon add electric charger for ecological cars and thus give an option to tourists who seek to reduce their ecological footprint.
