Very spacious and well appointed cabin. We had a very enjoyable stay. The beds are very comfy. My favorite part is the porch and just sitting outside. My two young adult daughters and grandson loved the game room. Great laundry access too. Host Michele is amazing and provides great communication! Overall 5 stars!!

Very private home in the mountains

Great communication with the host. There were no surprises. Very reasonably priced for a 3 bedroom cabin. Loved the hot tub. Comfortable master bedroom & en-suite on main floor. Great that we could bring our 15 year-old mini golden doodle with us.

The cabin is wonderful. Everything we needed for a week. Blairesville is very close for groceries, and all the other towns we wanted to visit are within an hour. Brasstown Bald is a must, such beautiful views! The beds were very comfortable, the house is very clean, with plenty of room to spread out. Thank you for the hospitality Michelle!

Very quiet and peaceful location. Cabin was exactly as expected based on the photos. Nicely decorated and very well stocked! Kids loved the game room! If arriving at night, can be difficult to find the driveway. Definitely would stay again!

Beautiful serene place!!!

We totally enjoyed our stay at Michele’s cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains! So cozy and decorated perfectly! Well stocked and full of things to do!!! Great Experience

This property is a great cabin for experiencing the amazing north Georgia geography. Located super close to Vogel state park which has amazing hiking. The cabin had nice decorating and very functional kitchen for cooking big meals. The cabin had all sorts of neat features like games, comfortable living room and a gas fireplace great for fall weather. Clean, cozy and relaxing, I only wish I would have stayed longer. Great experience.

We stayed here while hiking the AT nearby. Great location close to Vogel state park and lots of hikes. Blairsville is about 20 min away has a good selection of restaurants and grocery. The cabin was cute and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. There seemed to be an issue with water pressure, but we alerted our host and she was very apologetic. I’m assuming that is a temporary problem. Overall we had a great stay!

Excellent, mountain getaway!

My family and I had a very relaxing stay at this cabin. My wife, four boys and our dog all enjoyed the property. The boys loved exploring the woods and creek right on the property. They found countless salamanders and craw fish. We enjoyed nightly fires in the fire pit and even cooked a meal on the crate provided. The hot tub was relaxing, the games in the basement/garage were all a hit. Highly recommend for a family getaway! The host is very responsive to any questions you may have as well!

Long Weekend Stay

Our family loved this getaway! We had a great time with our daughter and her friend who thoroughly enjoyed the game room and hot tub. The cabin had all of the amenities we needed. I recommend making sure your arrival time is during sunlight hours as the winding roads can be tough to navigate. Town is about a 20 minute drive and arriving in the evening with a car full meant another drive out for groceries, so I suggest making your grocery run prior to arrival or try to arrive during daylight hours. I would definitely recommend this cabin stay to friends and family!

Make sure you drive something with FWD! The gravel road to the house is very long and winding. We were surprised to see a deck under construction when we arrived. There were building materials left out, including nails on the ground. It would have been helpful to know beforehand as we had our 3 small children with us. When we first arrived, the water was not working. I messaged the host and got a quick response and she sent a neighbor over who was able to find the problem and fix it quickly. We noticed the water backing up in the shower and toilets if two or more people shower back to back. The basement (where the daybed is) was too cold for anyone to sleep down there at night. It’s controlled by the same thermostat as the main floor, but we couldn’t get it warm enough without it being too hot on the main floor. Turns out it was for the best, since we found mouse poop in the sheets later. The hot tub was nice, but beware of screws sticking up on the deck/back porch! Overall we had a good time, but probably won’t book this house again.

Family Vacation

Stayed end of May 2023 with five adults and One small dog. Communication w/host was top notch. She even offered suggestions for things to do. We did have a few hiccups during the stay. The picture of the place is spot on but, the drive up to the home was a little tough with my SUV (gravel drive at a steep grade) and spun the tires each time we wanted to go to the front door so a regular car might have an issue without four wheel drive. There are two ways to enter the driveway, one is steep(30 degrees) and the other is 25 degrees but at least you have a running start to go up the latter, just be careful of the rocks on both sides of the driveway (needs to be wider). The hot tub was a nice place to relax after a day of hiking to soothe achy muscles but it did block access to the picnic table and grill on the porch which required slight acrobatics to maneuver around. All in all, a great vacation to get away from it all. Other issues were discussed with the host and those things will hopefully be addressed for future renters.

Great Christmas Getaway in the Mountains!!

What a wonderful getaway this was for us and right at Christmas time! We love the location of the cabin….Vogel State Park and Helton Creek Falls are in short driving distance. The property was very clean and we love the set up of the cabin. Communication with property manager was very seamless and she does a phenomenal job! As far as the cabin goes we absolutely loved the “bear decor”, especially enjoyed the game room and ended our nights in the hot tub. Definitely what we needed….lots of wonderful memories made!

We rented this cabin to attend a wedding at a venue just down the road. It was clean and had much to entertain the family. My kids are teens/young adults but they enjoyed the game room. We did not get to take advantage of the hot tub but it looked relaxing. Michele was a great host, very responsive and helpful. We would stay there again if in the area.

Very quiet and beautiful!

We had a great time with our son and fiancé. We sat out on the porch and listened to the birds and wild life! It very peaceful and Michele was very quick to respond to any questions. Very beautiful home.

Over all good stay

In the description said there was a pool table in game room but was not. Other than that had a great stay it is nice place.

It has a 2-in-1 ping pong table and air hockey table and in the game room, a basketball arcade and a dart board as well as numerous board games, card games, puzzles, and coloring books. I’m the VRBO check off it only has a box for pool table and not for other tables so I checked it off. I’m my description I was more detailed. Thank you and I am glad you enjoyed your stay!

My name is Michele, also known as Mom to my two kids, Tristan and Sienna. We love coming to our mountain house in all 4 seasons and have favorite outdoor activities to do here depending on the time of year! We have had lots of fun in our game room, which has recently become the Bear Cave Arcade! We have had so much fun creating our scavenger hunt and creating our 3 resident bears, Sunny, Scout and Ranger! My son had the brilliant idea for the Bear Hunt Challenge and helped to create the treasure chest prizes as well! The Explorer Scrapbook has also been a favorite for my kids to create and use and we love seeing other families posting their adventures as well! We have spent hours around the Monopoly board! We love going on nature walks and have seen a baby bear recently and several deer! We love sunsets at Brasstown Bald, just 15 min away! We love going to Vogel State Park across the street and every time we come we go straight to Helton Creek Falls to soak in the pretty two level waterfall and picturesque scenery that is far different than the Florida landscape we live in! We usually go ziplining while we are here. (Check out Sunburst Stables)
I love to hear about our guests’ adventures and it makes us so happy to see guests posting their photos in our Explorer Scrapbook! One day my kids will bring their kids here and we will look back at all the memories made here which will bring us so much joy for generations!

My dad always dreamt of building his own log cabin in the mountains, and when he met his 2nd wife they would always visit her family who all had cabins, here in Cindy Cove. Lucky for my dad, his wife's uncle worked for Lennar building homes for many years and he and my dad built this amazing cabin! After all Cindy Cove is the perfect location in the North Georgia Mountains to hike, view waterfalls, and splash and play at Vogel State Park across the street!
