Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed your stay 😊
This cabin is so chic and cozy! We stayed for memorial weekend and even tho the weather was lousy, we all enjoyed ourselves! The house is stocked with anything you may want and then some. The host was amazingly accessible especially when we had questions on a holiday weekend!

Denise,
Thank you for the wonderful review, and taking such good care of my cabin!
I’m sorry you had bad weather but I’m glad you all still had a great weekend
We loved hosting you 😃
It was a relaxing getaway for our family. Love that everything was provided for us so if you forgot something no worries she literally has everything for you! from the coffee bar to the s’mores bar we enjoyed it all. Thank you for sharing your home!
Our family was looking for a place big enough for all of us to hang out comfortably while spending some time in the woods! This place was absolutely perfect! It had everything that you could ever imagine for a holiday away from the normal grind!
Our hostess, Christina, was amazing and answered every question without hesitation and had the home fully stocked for any and all situations! We didn’t have to worry about a thing while we were there for the week!
We loved it so much, we are already talking about planning next year’s visit!
First time using VRBO and it was a great stay. Cabin was exactly as pictured. My communication with Christina was very pleasant and she always responded very quickly. Cabin was stocked with anything and everything you could imagine. Plenty of space both inside and out and so very relaxing. The only downside would be that our 18 month granddaughter would have loved to say hello to the dogs that reside there instead of just seeing them in pictures. We had a great family vacation here.
Absolutely amazing stay! Anything you ever wanted in a vacation spot was provided, amenities, games, and the most gathering spaces we've ever experienced at a rental location. A quote from one of our group members, "I've never felt so cared for outside of my own home." The only sort of bummer was getting in and out of the river, however the water just seems to be high and nothing can be done about that. 10/10, would recommend. Thank you for an amazing trip!
Gorgeous views for comfortable privacy. I love this place! Extremely private, I saw at least 500 different shades of green in the gorgeous canopy that shades the upper deck. The quiet, peaceful sounds of birds and nature soothe the heart and soul. The yard is a great space for dogs to roam freely. Large enough for a small group, it's also cozy enough for quiet solitude as well. The view from each of the seating areas is gorgeous. It is so relaxing to watch the river go by.The cabin does not have A/C, which I neglected to notice before arrival but, I never missed it. The mornings and evenings cool way down. There is a beautiful, large, comfortable living area with a huge TV and a bedroom in the basement and it's quite cool down there. Lots of fans are provided. I wouldn't consider this a negative because I truly never needed it. The cabin is very comfortably furnished. You can relax and feel right at home. There's even a screen door to slam closed! A 25 minute drive to anywhere, the drive is easy and pleasant. It's central location makes it easy for a day trip to so many places! Explore small towns, everyone is so welcoming and friendly! See upper, lower Michigan!
We had a wonderful time staying in this cute cabin nestled back on the banks of the Muskegon River. Accommodated four adults, six kids and a dog beautifully. It was so cozy, beds were comfy and has a great rustic, farmhouse-ish, up-north decor. We loved all the little extras - and there were many! From a coffee bar, all the fixings for smores, and tons of games to kayaks, firewood, and plenty of bug spray, the host ensures you have everything need - including my favorite Aveda Shampoo! ;-) It was so well stocked, we even made some homemade cookies. The river was great - kids were able to swim and fish without too much current (this, of course, could change with the water level, but it was perfect when we were there!). The host was extremely responsive and kind. I appreciated that she also sent a nearby neighbor over to help us out, who too was also very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this wonderful cabin and would certainly stay here again!
This property was amazing! The pictures do not do it justice! -The listing pictures make it seem on the smaller side, but we didn’t care because we are typically outdoorsy people. There was more than enough room for our group of 9 to spend some quality time together as well as spread out when the teenagers were not getting along with the younger kids. We were stuck indoors quite a bit during our stay because of the cold rain, and the wood burning stove downstairs with the game nook was our favorite place to be! Books, games, and movies galore!!
And when I tell you about accommodations, it will blow your mind. If you forgot something, chances are they have it stocked for you to use! -We have rented several properties over the years, and this is the most “stocked” house we have ever been to! The condiments in the fridge, spices to use for cooking, the coffee bar and s’more bar!!! -Heaven!
The host was very friendly and quick to respond and the location was perfect! It is “away from it all” but conveniently close to shopping and dining needs! For us, it was so close to family, I think we finally found our go to rental property while we are in MI!!!! ❤️
100% recommend!!

If you're looking for an amazing cabin, quiet private location on the river, somewhere to kick back and relax, with everything you could ever possibly need while traveling, you've found it!
The amazing weekend started right from the booking where every question I had was immediately answered by the owner. Booking was simple, communication was excellent, and the cabin was simply amazing!
Pulling into the driveway down the private road, after a long drive and seeing the beautiful cabin, 4 kayaks and canoe, multiple firepits with fabulous views of the river, we knew we were in for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend!
If outside wasn't already enough, we were blown away when walking inside. Previous reviews mentioned the owners provide everything, and when they said everything, they meant EVERYTHING! I could go on for pages about what is provided and offered to guests, but if you and the family or friends want to pack up a couple pairs of clothes, food, and the dog with nothing else, you've got everything you need for the length of your stay and you'll be fully prepared for every meal, a relaxing stay, or any adventure. The fully stocked coffee and smore bars were a big hit too, but we were all overly impressed by everything the owner provides for their guests!
White Birch sell out of river trips for the day? No problem, the owners provide 4 kayaks, 1 canoe, 3 tubes, and you can drop them in the water right at the cabin, or strap them into your truck and trailer, drop at your location of choice and float right back to the cabin (5 min drive north of White Birch). Just be sure to bring a pump for the tubes.
Rain or cold day ruin your river trip? No problem, light a fire in the downstairs wood burning stove, cuddle on the comfortable furniture and watch any of the provided dvd's. If movie's aren't your thing, play one (or several) of the many many games that can be found on the bookshelf behind the dining room table in the basement. The poker table on the screened in porch is a great place to play cards/games, even when chilly since there's a small heater in the room.
Overall this was an excellent experience and stay! Christina has a fabulous cabin and really makes you feel at home!

Jon,
I’m so happy you enjoyed the cabin, thank you so much for the review, it’s the best review I’ve ever seen, people might think I paid you. Lol 😂
You were a joy to host and you’re welcome back anytime!!!!!
Cabin was great, pictures on the site do not do it justice. It has everything you need incase you forget something. Kayaks and Canoe were included and were a great joy, you could probably spend all day going up and down the river.
Rooms were clean and cozy, deck and patio were great and the poker table was a great addition.
Don't forget to take your trash to the dumpster, cleaning fee is !!!!
We had a great stay, Christina was very helpful and made us feel right at home. Her home had everything you could need and more. Now I want to redecorate my home.
