Location, Location, Location:

One of the highlights of this beautiful beach house is its location at the extreme west end of Galveston Island. Located at the westernmost tip of Galveston island, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this home is surrounded by water on three sides (The Gulf, Galveston Bay and San Luis Pass).

Much of the land on this part of the island has been designated as 'protected' areas for wildlife. The birding and other wildlife viewing is great. San Luis Pass is well known as the best fishing in the Galveston area and one of the top fishing spots on all of the Texas Coast, and it can be seen right out the window.

Surrounded by Water:

If your idea of a great vacation is being close to the water, then you will fall in love with Seahorse Shores.

In addition, Pointe West has done an amazing job landscaping the resort and there are several ponds throughout that are great for fishing, or kayaking. The Seahorse Shores property backs up against one of the ponds. There are fabulous views of the water from every window in the house.

Everything about this property was great! The kitchen, living area, and back balcony were wonderful, and the kitchen accessories are well above level. The place was incredibly well-stocked, though the grill isn't quite as luxurious as the rest of the accommodations.The layout took a little getting used to (bedrooms on the entry level, living space upstairs), but it worked fine. Communication with the owner was stellar—so good and prompt! I highly recommend renting a golf cart for the pool; it's an extra charge but the best value for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

Perfect for multiple families

The house is well represented in the photos. We loved having two mirrored primary suites. The shared spaces were spacious especially the kitchen. And we enjoyed having extended family over each evening for dinner. Jordan was attentive with any questions/concerns during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Summer time shine

This beach house in particular was in line to many homes I’ve been in Point West. The common areas in this house were A1. The kitchen had plenty of space to cook an entertain. The fact that this home had 2 primary bedrooms were a huge plus for a family. Great beach house would highly recommend it!

Great family beach vacation!

Our family of 12 thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this property. The view of the bay and pond were a great way to start and end the day. We rented a golf cart to drive to the beach and pointe west beach club, so much easier and fun for the littles. If you go to the beach club, there are two different pools, the main one has bar/restaurant service and the other one has the small lazy river. The property has a great main living space for everyone to hang out. Thank you Jordan for a memorable 4th of July trip!

Beautiful on the Bah

This is one of the best VRBO homes we have rented. The home was beautiful and sparkling clean. It was so well stocked we stayed in and cooked most of the time. The whole family wants to stay here again. There is great visibility to the bay with no houses directly front. Also a lovely view of the ocean side through kitchen window. 6hw house has close proximity to the tunnel to the resort side. We can’t wait to come back.

Family beach trip

We had an amazing time and the house is beautiful and well stocked. We had everything we needed for a fun family vacation. My only issue was with the balconies and a few loose boards on the railings. We had small kids and we were afraid they might fall through. That’s our only issue. We enjoyed beach and bay fishing. Hostess was excellent.

One of the best homes we have ever experienced!

We enjoyed a long weekend in Galveston with our family of six. The home was so spacious! Plenty of room for the teenage girls to hang out and adults to enjoy the outdoor patio as well as spacious kitchen. We have stayed in many VRBO‘s over the years and this by far was the cleanest and well stocked home we have ever experienced. (And I’m picky). It was spotless indoors and out. Lots of beach toys, beach, chairs, Floaties for the pool and a grill. The resort accommodations were nothing but exceptional. Everything was reasonably priced and a true delight! You will not be disappointed with this home and hosts. Nothing but exceptional! Strongly recommend!

Great Place

The house was everything we hoped for. Plenty of bedrooms for kids, ourselves and in laws. The two master suits were a plus! My only complaint was the stairs. Be prepared to walk three flight of stairs. Its not bad if you are used to it but we are accustomed to a one level house. Not a deal breaker by any means just be prepared. Couldn't have asked for a better location either. We have stayed at Pointe West before and staying on the lazy river side is always our favorite.

House was great

Property was excellent as well as the owner. The check in with the Property Owners Association was not good. We were given a blue check in bag with no explanation. We went to beach for 2 days not knowing to keep the wristbands after the ocean. Went to the pool on the last day for 4 hours and were told we would have to pay the $25 replacement fee for 6 people. So we paid another $150 for the 4 hours. Who wants to wear the same wristband for a 5 day stay? The POA would not deviate form the policy even when we did not understand the policy from the beginning.

Nice quiet get away on the end of the island!

We had a large group of 12 ranging from 1year to 33 years old and the place the the perfect fit for all ages! The house was completely stocked above and beyond! You are a ways from the sea wall so eating out wasn’t a quick option so having the kitchen stocked was a great plus all we needed were groceries! They club house on the ocean gave the best of both worlds for those who don’t love the sea! The host was so quick to respond to any questions! We had a fantastic week and would definitely recommend this listing to others!

Great family vacation spot!

We loved our stay! Access to the Beach Club pool and workout facilities were great for our family. And easy access to the beach as well! We just wished we would’ve rented a golf cart - would have made the trips to the beach club easier and a little more fun:) Definitely recommend this property!
