Comfortable apartment and very responsive owner

  • 5 of 5

Gianmarco's apartment looks exactly like the photos. The location was very handy being right next to Trastevere Station. It is really easy to get to from the airport. We like to walk, and were able to do so from this location, but if you are not a good walker, then the tram or buses are convenient. The owner recommended a wonderful local restaurant and had easy to follow written instructions explaining the best way to get to the important sights in Rome. This is a relatively quiet part of Trastevere. We appreciated the groceries and wine that were left for us. Comfortable bed and very clean. Would stay here again.

Amazing apartment

  • 5 of 5

Gianmarco was a great host. The apartment is very centrally located and has all of the amenities you may need. It was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Gianmarco even has a list of what public transit you need to take to get to the major attractions.

Well maintained & equipped apartment.

  • 5 of 5

Great experience, the apt. is well equipped & very clean. Owner is very accommodating & shares knowledge of area. Apartment is close to travestre train station & bus/tram stops. Easy to go anywhere in Rome. Only negative is if nice out & windows open can be a bit of “city noise”. We enjoyed our stay.

Great apartment near many of Romes attractions !

  • 5 of 5

Great smal apartment near train station, which facilitates transport to any attraction in Rome. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I stayed with my husband and 3 teenage kids. It was kind of tight for 5 (and my kids are tall, so we take a lot of space...). For 2-4 people it is a perfect apartment. Would definitely go back. Previous communication with owner was perfect and smooth. Thank you Gianmarco!

PERFECT in every way.

  • 5 of 5

This property was the perfect location for my husband and I while we visited Rome for 3 days. The apartment was located close to train, tram, restaurants, shopping, etc. Most of the tourist attractions were accessible by either tram or train, but definitely walkable within 25-35 minutes.

Our host, Gianmarco, met us upon our arrival and left us with great information, maps, etc. The bottle of wine and breakfast snacks were a nice surprise.

Be sure to visit the bakery that is attached to the building, on the first floor!!!!

We will visit Rome again and will definitely plan to stay at this property.

Entertainment in Trastevere:

A favorite place among many is Big Mama, where you can enjoy concerts playing jazz, rock and blues. Big Mama is a place where aspiring young singers hit the stage in the hopes of becoming famous. This is also a great area to go out for dinner. Not only are there plenty of authentic Italian restaurants with high-quality pizza and pasta dishes, but many of the restaurants open earlier than in other parts of Rome to cater to tourists. In other parts of Rome, it is rare to find Romans who eat before 8 p.m.

Trastevere Restaurants:

The Trastevere is known for delicious food and some of the best restaurants in Rome. The La Fraschetta is considered to have the best gnocchi in town and offers customers four different sauces to go with the gnocchi. Another restaurant, Ristorante Asinocotto, has dishes made with fresh produce, sourced at the owner's own farm.
