Hi, so happy to meet you. We are Gary and Irma. We moved to Maine from sunny Southern California in 1996 and fell in love with Maine. We hope you’ll experience our local beauty and year round “vacation state of mind”!
Why they chose this property
Maine is beautiful! We invite you to join us and see for yourself why we chose to make it our home. You’ll enjoy leisurely walks along our semi rural neighborhood. Be alert for deer sightings along with other wildlife. The large spring-fed pond on sight makes for a refreshing spot to picnic and soak up some sun while watching the seasonal waterfowl, including Canada geese, blue heron and ducks. Our rental is clean, cozy and very relaxing. If you like to cook, you’ll enjoy our fully stocked kitchen. Afterward you can head out to the local winery for a tasting, or take a 10 minute drive to our neighboring city of Waterville for the Downtown nightlife! Be sure to reserve a night for The Waterville Opera House! (Book in advance) We look forward to meeting you!

Our location is near both Colby and Thomas colleges, we have excellent non-chain restaurants, and lot’s of shopping in the State Capitol of Augusta - a 15 minute drive.
For antique lovers, we have 3 excellent stores nearby, but you could certainly make a day of it if you care to widen your horizons!
