Had a great time on our vacation. The property was beautiful and our host was great and communicated quickly to our questions. The rooms were very clean and the view from our balcony was amazing.

This property is gorgeous. I love staying here so much, I already booked another trip for next year! Crystal is a fantastic host, not only was she incredibly helpful and so quick to respond, she remembered me from my previous stay. She was so kind and gracious, knew that I liked cotton towels and even met me on the property to help me check in while the resort didn’t have power. Everything about my stay was fantastic, I cannot say enough good things about it!

We had an incredible time. Check in was smooth and the room was exactly as described. Hotel staff were friendly and the pools were great. It was also nice to have a bar and restaurant on site as it made grabbing a quick bite super easy. Thanks for an amazing time and we look forward to coming back!

Crystal was amazing she answered any questions we had promptly.The only thing is that the original website description of the room noted was the room had two queen beds and was an end too so you only had one neighboring guest. The bed was actually a king bed which was ok. The room had guests on both sides. Thought here was this was changed when the hurricane hit in August so contractors were fixing the end rooms. But Al in all great stay would recommend to anybody visiting this island.Thank you Crystal

The room was clean and spacious with many conveniences. There is an ocean view from the lanai. The pool and restaurant/bar area was well maintained and staffed. This is a conveniently located and well-run resort.

The pools are fantastic, along with the poolside bar and grill. Lots of comfortable lounge chairs all around so it’s easy to find a place to relax, enjoy the ocean breeze, and have a bite. Easy beach access, too. Our host was great and the room with the ocean-view balcony was a great place to unwind after each day of sightseeing or sitting by the pool.

The view was great and as described but the room needed updating. There was one small hook for a towel, but no real towel racks. For a place at the beach, towel racks are a must. The overhead light in the bathroom did not work, nor was there any fans in there. The snorkel equipment was covered in sand. The towels were really old and threadbare. The room was clean and the host gave a complimentary mid-week clean and towel refresh, which was much appreciated. The location was convenient and the grounds at the resort were beautiful.

Other than the ongoing lobby refurbishment that has been ongoing everything was terrific. Our room was exactly as described. Was a real help having the dehumidifier in the room! We enjoyed the restaurant on property many times and the pool side bar. Wish the beach on property could be used for swimming/snorkeling but that was a very small inconvenience. The staff was outstanding. Yours is a wonderful property! JT

Friendly staff, well maintained property, restaurant construction was a bit of a pain with long routes to your room. Pool was also not heated. Breakfast was great dinner was sub par. All in all we will be back

Beautiful location

This resort is older and a bit dated but we found it clean, comfortable and absolutely gorgeous! Sunrise every morning on the beach was the best. Partial ocean view from this room. Pool area is fantastic. Nice restaurant on site. Definitely would stay here again.

Kauai Beach Resort vacation

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at KBR, the rooms were clean and well kept, food at the restaurants was great and decent sized for the price compared to some other locations on the island. Pools are large and could easily accommodate the guests there without feeling crowded. Great place to stay for a relaxing vacation in the sun, there is an onsite Hertz car rental available if you want to get out and about around Kauai that is very convenient.

Lovely Stay

The property pool and restaurant was very nice. We really enjoyed the pool and having breakfast at the restaurant. The overall property is dated but charming. The room was as described but a little dated. The property manager communicated well and respinded quickly to my emails. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay.

The room needed cleaned better. No hairdryer in the bathroom. And the TV didn’t work until we called for service.. The came immediately.. We loved the restaurant and the entertainment every night!!! The staff was wonderful!!!

Perfect vacation

This resort is perfect for people wanting a central location to explore the island. 30 minutes to drive to both the North and south shores. The resort is clean and has everything needed to relax and stay put as well- several pools, 3 restaurants and sits on miles of walkable beachfront. All of the resort staff was so friendly and helpful. The host was spectacular with timely communication and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Resort retreat

The property is dated but still beautiful. The restaurant was convenient. The room was comfortable and quiet. There were elements of the resort that could use attention but overall it was as stated and we had a wonderful time. Being close to the airport at the end of our trip was a great decision and we caught a last minute seat on a helicopter tour that ended up being a top highlight!
