Beach Days & Family Stays: Your Crystal Beach Adventure Awaits!

Escape to paradise at our Crystal Beach getaway! Just a short stroll from the sparkling shores of Bolivar Peninsula, our charming 3-bedroom beach house in the Holiday Beach subdivision is the perfect spot for family vacations, girls' weekends, or any coastal escape. Imagine relaxing on the decks, soaking in breathtaking ocean views and feeling the refreshing Gulf breeze. Down below, an inviting outdoor space awaits for entertaining and creating lasting memories.

Our home comfortably sleeps 8, with room for up to 10 (just bring an air mattress for the living room). Inside, you'll find a fully furnished retreat equipped with everything you need, including Wi-Fi, plush bath and beach towels, and crisp linens. Need to catch up on work while you're away? No problem! We've set up a convenient workspace in the master bedroom with a desk, computer monitor, keyboard, and mouse. (Our Wi-Fi is great, but we also recommend bringing a personal hotspot as a backup, just in case!) Enjoy movie nights with our outdoor projector and screen, or relax with our selection of books and games. While we don't have cable, streaming services are readily available for your entertainment.

We love making your stay as enjoyable as possible, so we provide tons of extras! Think swings, a hammock, a high chair, a Pack 'n Play travel crib, and even kids' plates and cups. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials, and we also provide a starter pack of supplies including trash bags, dishwasher pods, soaps, laundry pods, paper towels, and toilet paper. We also provide all the linens you'll need: one sheet set per bed, bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, kitchen towels, and hot pads.

And because we know furry family members deserve vacations too, we welcome pets under 20 lbs for an additional fee. We can't wait to share our family beach house with you and yours!

For your peace of mind, we have security cameras monitoring the front door and garage

The Tipsy Turtle was perfect. It had everything we needed to make it feel like home. I’ve stayed at several Crystal Beach properties and will never stay at any other. By far, this was the best.

We had such a wonderful stay. They truly had everything you needed and the house was beautiful and in excellent condition. We had a minor issues with the cooling of the fridge, but they host got someone out ASAP and fixed the issues. Would book again with this host and this house.

Very Family Friendly

We enjoyed our short trip. The house was incredibly family friendly, and with 2 you g boys, that is always a plus. Having plastic cups, bowls, plates made things more relaxing for me as a momma. The patio and downstairs area was great for hanging out, again the boys loved the hammock and swing. It was a great place and we really appreciated you sharing your home with us.

Wonderful House!

Definitely enjoyed our stay at this house! We had 8 people staying in the home and it was big enough for us. The only downfall is the third room (bunkbed room) does not have a closet so there isn't anywhere to keep suitcases and clothes. That room got pretty tight with multiple people but otherwise the house had plenty of room! The owners have it very well stocked in the kitchen with pots, pans, cooking sheets, etc and the starter kit for laundry, dishes, and trash is perfect! If you have children staying in the top bunk and they need the ladder, message the owner because they keep that locked up. Communication with the owner was very quick and always polite and helpful! I would definitely recommend this home to a family.

Great property for a family!

This was a great property for our family. We had a wonderful time. It was my husband and myself, our grown son, and our grown daughter, her husband, and our granddaughter. There was plenty of room for all of us. It was close enough to walk to the beach, but a golf cart would have been handy if we had had one. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very organized. The owner was attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I recommend this property.

Tipsy Turtle Beach House

This was our first time staying in a beach house and The Tipsy Turtle surpassed ALL expectations! The beach house was very clean and had plenty of accommodations that were very handy during our stay. The Tipsy Turtle set the bar high for our family vacation to Galveston! Looking forward to our next stay!

A great long weekend!!!

Second time to stay at the Tipsy Turtle and we had a great time. The house is awesome and my girlfriend loves it. Our friends first time there and they said they will definitely rent again. Karen and Tim are very accommodating and very quick to respond if you should have any questions.

Memorial Day weekend and was quite around us at night which was nice. Figured out how to access internet by restarting network on the tv and it worked. Other then that I will always keep this place in mind when booking a trip to bolivar

Perfect for any size family

My husband and I along with our 3 kids decided to take a trip and out of the places to chose from (which were also a lot higher) we thought this would be the best fit for us. WE WERE RIGHT! This home is amazing and providing everything we were looking for. It is spacious with an open kitchen/living room. It has 3 good sized bedrooms and 2 baths. Everything is provided for you like the basics of towels, kitchenware, down to even laundry detergent. Which brings me to the fact of having a washer and dryer was a bonus because it was nice to wash some clothes that were still wet from the beach. There is a wrap around porch upstairs which has a view of the ocean in the distance. The beach is only a 5 minute walk or you can drive down to it which was also nice. The parking pass was only $10 and is good for all year long! Downstairs is an outside shower which was much needed to wash all the sand off of us so we wouldn't track it inside the house cause noone wants sand everywhere lol. There is also a swing and hammock which my boys loved. There is also a huge picnic table that was perfect for the outdoor projector they provide you with to watch movies! Karen was so helpful for any questions I had. She made me feel more like family then a guest. I never leave reviews but we had such a wonderful experience I had to leave one. We are going to take another vacation next year and will definitely be staying at the Tipsy Turtle again.

A beautiful home!

When I walked I was so excited because I immediately felt like I walked into a home, not a rental. It was beautifully decorated, warm, comforting, and inviting. Awesome location, we can’t wait to stay there again next summer! Karen kept in contact with us the whole time to ensure our needs were being addressed!

Perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

We have always stayed in Galveston… never again. If you want to have a relaxing atmosphere, this is the place to be! We walked to the beach a couple times and rented a golf cart too. I’d recommend either one! The property was super nice and in a good neighborhood close enough to the grocery store in town. The owners are above and beyond helpful and nice about everything we communicated about. They have provided everything necessary for the perfect getaway with extras as a cherry on top! Beach toys, tiki bar, outdoor projector, giant connect four, awesome outdoor furniture and tiki bar. Book it!!!!!

The Tipsy Turtle- Perfect for family fun

Our family had the best vacation at the Tipsy Turtle! We had everything that we needed, plenty of room, close to the beach, and enjoyed a family movie night with the outdoor movie screen and projector! The breeze at the downstairs tiki bar and on the second level deck was great. We normally have issues with mosquitos at Crystal Beach and didn’t have any this year at this property! Karen is available to answers all questions and was great about communicating during our stay. Our family highly recommends staying at the Tipsy Turtle! It felt like a home away from home!

If you are looking for a great house in a wonderful neighborhood I definitely recommend this one! Karen is an awesome host and the house fit our family perfect--was clean, decorated so nicely and a short walk / drive to the beach. We will be back soon!

We had a great vacation, my girlfriend loved the house and all the great decorations. My grandkids said it was the best vacation ever!!!! Location is perfect close everything you need. Karen was great, she answered emails and calls. The experience was really nice and stress free. Will definitely go back!!!!
