Welcome to our Modern Mountain Escape. A stunning 2-bd, 1-bath couples retreat located above the prestigious Mt. Crested Butte Ski Resort. Imagine skiing right down to the lift and getting fresh tracks on a power day. Meet up with your group in the afternoon at the umbrella bar and ski right back to the guesthouse. This luxurious, contemporary mountain chalet offers unparalleled views, a private hot tub, ski in/out access and free on call transportation to the base area making it a premium destination for your winter adventure. Our surf-themed guesthouse has exceptional amenities with easy access in a quiet residential neighborhood that always gets rave reviews.

First of all great location! Next, very nice place, and very well appointed and supplied guest house. From all the short-term rentals we’ve stayed at, these are the nicest most accommodating hosts we’ve ever encountered. We never had any issues but communication was easy and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and more - like making sure we knew all ski options and transportation options, along with restaurant recommendations. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is excellent and it was. Thank you, Gloria and David. It was a real treat to stay in your home.

Gloria and David are great hosts. They have a beautiful place with a beautiful view. Close to everything you need. The listing information is accurate. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow. They also provided very helpful information about the resort and the town. We would definitely stay here again.

Mt Crested Butte Gem!

This place is amazing. Newer build, very clean, private deck that has a view of it all! Ev charger , full size laundry, kitchen is amazing, grill outside, lots of area outside unit but inside to store skis, boots etc. beds were great. By far the best place we’ve stayed in in CB. Host was communicative and very responsive. If you’re looking for a modern mt crested butte stay with incredible views (not to mention location to hiking trails) this is it!

Fabulous mountain retreat

Great place tucked away adjacent to the ski slope for Easy hiking access. A quick drive into town. Exceptionally clean and comfortable especially the beds. Tastefully decorated with everything that you need! Fabulous deck chairs for star gazing with extra blankets available for early summer cool nights. Would definitely stay again

Only Positive Things To Say . . .

We visited Teo 1 with our 10 year old daughter and had a fabulous time. The unit is clean and comfortable and the ski in / ski out situation is as advertised (i.e., extremely convenient). David and Gloria are fantastic hosts and communicated with us throughout our stay. We have already booked the unit for next year.

This property is conveniently located just minutes from the base area via first tracks or ski out, but can’t comment on that since we didn’t actually try it. The unit itself is well appointed and roomy enough for the two of us. Sitting on the balcony in late afternoon provides beautiful mountain and sunset views. The owners, Gloria and David, were very welcoming and gracious in offering assistance should we need anything. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Awesome location and wonderful hosts.

Cannot go wrong with this recently constructed, skiing/ski out home. Our only challenge was that we were not successful finding our way back to the home from the slopes. First time I brought my family to Crested Butte and they loved it. Will be back, this year and hopefully staying with this host again.

Amazing!

We really loved this rental and surrounding area! Dave & Gloria are fantastic hosts and property owners. This was our first time to Colorado, and Dave took the time to go on a mountain bike ride with us, to show us around. They definitely go above and beyond to make sure that all your needs are met. They even had a humidifier in the rental which we used at bedtime and gave us electrolyte powder to help us adjust to altitude. House was modern but very comfortable. Great location to resort and used the free taxi service to free bus shuttle to town. Loved having acces to a washer/ dryer, and mudroom. Would stay here again in a heart beat!

Awesome place to enjoy fall colors and MTB

Had a terrific stay at Dave and Grace’s place. Awesome MTB/eMTB access right from there front door. An internal spot to secure our bikes and access to EV charging. Highly recommend.

We have stayed at this property twice. Can’t beat the location. The property itself is so well done. The owners are incredible. This is the best place in Crested Butte!

Perfect!

Adorable property in a perfect location. The new free town shuttle makes access as easy as being next to the town bus depot. The views from the property are phenomial. The beds were super comfortable, I only wish I could have slept in. When VRBOing you do not typically have a lot of contact with the hosts but in this case it was a pleasure to speak with them several times. The hosts were gracious and welcoming. I highly recommend this property if you are staying in Crested Butte for any reason summer or winter. Thank you.

Great Owners

Guest house was extremely nice and clean. Had issues checking in with door codes, but was called immediately by the owner after I texted them. She was able to fix the issue quickly and comped us use of the main house hot tub. Very genuine and nice people!

Great stay in lovely guest house

First, owners Gloria and David were wonderful. They were extremely responsive when I asked for information. They wanted to make sure we had a great stay. The home is lovely, well equipped, in a beautiful and quiet location, and not too far from town. The bedding is very comfortable and the home has a cozy feel. Gloria and David were generous with "starter coffee" supply and other comforts like heated towel racks. We spent over an hour talking to them prior to leaving CB because they were so welcoming. Stay here, you'll love it.

mixed feelings

Overall pretty happy with our stay. One big negative is that I specifically screened for properties in my search on VRBO for properties that had a hot tub. The listing has "Pool & spa: Spa whirlpool" listed as an amenity. When we arrived we found out that the hot tub is private to the adjacent property. Another issue is there was a wasp nest right next to the deck and we had a wasp get inside the property on our first day. Property is very modern and its hard to beat the location but our experience left us with mixed feelings.

Great location

Bike and hiking trip with my wife. Great location. We were able to ride and hike from the house. Had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Hosts were nice and easy to communicate with…they shared trail recommendations and it was greatly appreciated.

Enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our week-long stay in this guest house. It is in a great location with easy walkable access to the mountain trails or coffee/ ice cream at the Mt Crested Butte base. It is as depicted in the photos with a nice size deck, fully equipped kitchen, and additional storage in the mud room just outside the entry. Our daughter used the stair landing as a WFH space for a few days (using a self-provided table/desk). We will definitely visit again!

Amazing week in Crested Butte

Wonderful getaway in Crested Butte!! This beautiful property was amazing!! Very clean, supplied with extra towels, linens, and a great kitchen to cook in! The views were fabulous….morning coffee on the porch was my favorite!! We are planning our next trip because we can’t wait to get back there!! Our hosts were great!! Friendly and helpful in every way!!

Mountain guest house

My daughter and I stayed here for a week in the summer. Very cozy guest house next to the owners home. Every thing was new and very clean. Laundry and everything we needed in kitchen made stay very convenient. Plenty of sights and activities to do in this area.

The best of both worlds! Located high up above the ski resort allows for stellar views of the surrounding mountains, easy access to hiking and mountain biking (directly across the street) and short walk to resort base area and free transportation to historic Crested Butte and Gunnison. The residential location offers a quiet environment and large yard away from the noise of the base area and properties in town.

We love all the wildlife that visit us during the summer including foxes, deer, humming birds, birds of prey, and amazing insects. Crested Butte is the Wildflower Capitol of Colorado and has a wildflower festival in July. Just a short walk above the house through the Aspen forest you will find fields of purple Lupine or Yellow wildflowers. Fall is also an amazing time to come visit to see the beautiful fall foliage.
