Welcome to Gullwing Resort #606, your elegant yet beachy/contemporary gulf-front address in paradise. This resort-style condo is unquestionably one of the more luxurious on the island, and has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with very generous square footage. It has the ambience of a home rather than the usual condo layout, and is very nicely decorated and furnished, including wall art and potted indoor plants. There is tile flooring with the exception of carpet in the bedrooms and living area. The kitchen is a chef's delight with plenty of counterspace and well-stocked cabinets. Appliances include a 2-door refrigerator, freezer drawer with ice-maker, glasstop range with self-cleaning oven, dishwasher, and built-in above range microwave oven. The kitchen has tray ceilings with ceiling fan, recessed lighting, under-counter lighting, a large pantry, and pass through to the living area, with three high-boy upholstered bar stools on the living area side. There is a double European style kitchen sink with disposal.

This resort is located at the quiet southern end of Estero Island and is within walking distance of a myriad of amenities that include a public marina, movie theatre, and restaurants. There is also quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and SWFL International Airport. The beach at this portion of the island is expansive, connecting its guests to 7 miles of white sugar sand beach. Trolley service is available from directly in front of the resort to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is an extended fishing pier and too numerous to count clubs, restaurants, and boutiques. Also located at this end of the island is the Key West Express, a high-speed boat providing 2 daily round-trips to Key West in just under 4 hours. The trolley can also take you south to the secluded Lover's Key park.

Amenities at Gullwing include a heated pool and spa area, gas barbecue grill area, and ample parking. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a 2 mile drive away.

Entry at ground level is through a secure, air conditioned lobby where an elevator takes you to the 6th floor, then to your left down an enclosed, air conditioned and carpeted hallway to the end, then #606 is to the right, and is a corner unit. There are luggage carts and bellman's trolleys available to simplify your arrival. For your convenience there is another elevator just steps from your condo taking you down to pool area and beach access.

Walk into an entry foyer and hallway with architectural tray ceiling, sconce lighting, and recessed mirror niche with lighting.

Immediately to your right is a hallway from the entry foyer leading to the 2 guest bedrooms and bath. To the right is a linen closet, then the first guest bedroom furnished with a queen bed, night stands and lamps, a corner overstuffed chair, and double dresser with wall mirror and flat screen TV. There is ample closet space, a ceiling fan, and the window from this bedroom looks out to the lush tropical landscaping and the beach and Gulf beyond.

The second guest bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds, night stand and lamp, as well as corner overstuffed chair. There is a double dresser in here with wall mirror and flat screen TV, as well as ceiling fan. The window here provides the same view as the previous bedroom, and there is also ample closet space.

The shared guest bath is nicely tiled, and also has a doorless, tiled walk-in shower with ceiling rain shower head, commode, and granite-top vanity with lavatory and wall mirror.

Back out into the entry hallway and foyer and to the right takes us towards the kitchen, but first to the left this condo has its own extremely convenient laundry/utility room with full size washer and dryer behind a pocket sliding door. Just think, should you so desire you can return home with suitcases full of clean clothes!

Across from the laundry room is the spacious bright and airy kitchen area as described above. The views from the kitchen are multi-focal. First into the dining area with bay windows, then into the living area where you can see the gulf through the sliding glass doors just past the living area. From the kitchen we walk into the dining room surrounded by a bay window and plantation shutters. The view from here is also of the beach and gulf, as well as toward the front of the resort overlooking the boulevard and a canal leading out to the back bay. There is a large, round glass-top table seating four, with two extra chairs.

Adjacent to the dining area, before entering the living area, is a wet bar with sink, under counter cabinets, with four upholstered barstools on the living room side, as well as a chair for the bartender. There is also cannister lighting in the wet bar area.

Past the wet bar area is the large living area. On one side next to the wet bar there are windows with plantation shutters overlooking the gulf and the lush tropical grounds, and a sitting area with over-stuffed chair, table, and lamp. The rest of the living room is nicely furnished with a queen-size sleeper sofa with matching loveseat with corner end table, a square glass-top coffee table, another overstuffed chair to the left of the sliding glass doors, and there is also a credenza with large flat screen TV for your viewing pleasure, and floor lamps on each side. The living room also has a ceiling fan.

Expansive sliding glass doors lead out to the tiled and screened in corner balcony overlooking the resort pool and spa area, as well as the boardwalk down to the sands of the beach, the barbecue area to the right, and all the lush tropical landscaping. Furnishings include a round patio table seating four, and two extra patio chairs. The view from here extends basically 180 degrees, with Sanibel Island in the distance on the right, straight out is the Gulf of Mexico, and to the left looks further down the beach from a 6th floor vantage point.

Back into the living room and around to the right is the entrance to the master suite with en suite bath. Upon entering the master suite, immediately to the left is the bathroom area with architectural tray ceilings and recessed lighting. There is a separate commode room, a corner garden jacuzzi tub, and a nicely tiled walk-in shower with glass door and shower head as well as body sprays. There are dual lavatories with granite-top vanity and wall mirrors, with plenty of cupboard and storage space, and linen closet. Walking back towards the entrance of the bedroom and to the left is a large walk-in closet. Continuing on is the master bedroom very nicely furnished with a king-size bed with night stands and lamps, a corner sitting area with overstuffed chair and plant, and a large double dresser with flat screen TV and wall mirror. There is also a door providing private access to the balcony. The windows here are wall to wall and floor to ceiling, providing the same commanding view of the gulf and the pool and spa area below from a 6th floor vantage point. There is also a ceiling fan for your further comfort.

The island has numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing. Water activities abound. There's parasailing, jet ski rentals, and fishing charters to name a few. Your stay at Gullwing will definitely provide the potential for an unforgettable getaway!
