I really like the Piedmont and Lake Merritt neighborhoods because they have everything close by — great food spots, a lively farmers’ market, and even a classic movie theater. Piedmont is quiet and family-friendly, while Lake Merritt has a fun, energetic vibe with beautiful lake views. On weekends, I love walking by the lake, grabbing brunch nearby, or visiting the Grand Lake Farmers’ Market and catching a movie at the Grand Lake Theatre. It’s such a nice mix of calm and convenience.
