Best Location in Oakland

Walk to local hospitals, Temescal & Piedmont Ave for shopping and dining, and the MacArthur BART station to get to downtown San Francisco in just 17 minutes. Whether you're in town for work, visiting friends or family, or exploring a new city, this apartment offers a bright and spacious retreat after a day of adventure.

The apartment features a fully stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, and off-street parking for one car.

Pets are welcome with a $150 fee per pet.

Please note there are 5 steps outside the building to reach the front door. Once inside, the apartment is all on one level.

As you enter, you can drop your keys or bag on the console table. To the left, you'll find the bright living and dining area, complete with a couch, coffee table, and a 50" smart TV. This space also includes a dining table for 4 and a workspace for remote work.

Down the hallway, the primary bedroom is on the left, featuring a California King-sized bed, a desk and chair, a closet with hangers, a dresser, and a luggage rack. Further down the hallway is the fully stocked kitchen, followed by the second bedroom with a queen-sized bed.

At the back of the apartment, the bathroom includes a bathtub, shower, vanity, and toilet, along with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

The rear door leads to the laundry area, which connects to the driveway and parking area. There are steps down to the parking area, and behind the building, another unit may be occupied by other short-term rental guests.

There are ring doorbell cameras at each exterior door entrance of the unit which are on 24/7 and record exterior video & sound when activated by motion at or near the doors.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All bookings are required to purchase rental damage protection without exception.

We enjoyed an 8 day stay here, (hosted by the amazingly responsive hosts Riza & Miguel), as we were visiting our daughter for Christmas.  This rental fulfilled our needs as a very functional space, convenient to Oakland/Berkeley, and while not luxurious, worked well for us.  The nicely laid out floor plan, the parking spot in the rear, the comfortable beds, and the fairly well-stocked kitchen allowed us ample relaxation time when we were not out and about. Again, while not fancy, a solid stay.

Great stay, I only wish couch was more comfy or that there was a recliner & wish garbage recepticals were labeled, we had to guess what went in what bin, as we dont have them where we came from. Easy access to places

Wonderful and responsive hosts, easy check-in with clear instructions. The off-street parking was a great a great bonus and imo is required in this downtown-adjacent area. The hosts met all our needs for our stay and we were happy to have everything we needed conveniently located within a short walk or drive.

Cozy Pill Hill Stay

Riza and Miguel are excellent hosts! We stayed 2.5 months at their place in Pill Hill, and it was absolutely a "home away from home" situation. They were incredibly communicative throughout the stay. Riza chatted with me through the app and helped navigate extending our stay and working out parking when there were some street closures. Miguel came and did minor fixes/repairs as needed (door locks, cat door, toilet seat, etc.). My dog Meryl LOVES Miguel - it was very cute to watch that friendship develop. :) Meryl and I took a lot of walks in the area. As an Oakland resident, I was surprised how close so many parts of town are - since I'd always driven to them separately. We walked over to restaurants (and the marathon) on Piedmont, to restaurants up Telegraph (checkout Co Nam and TallBoy), and Home Room off 40th. Another plus - the person that cleans the apartment is lovely (also made friends with Meryl) and she does a great job.Highly recommend Riza and Miguel's stay in Pill Hill!

A most Excellent stay in Oakland CA

We flew out from Maryland to attend a college graduation at UC Berkeley. The clean, uncluttered, well provided property was the perfect location for all the wonderful things we did during our stay. I could walk to a local grocery store, drive to Berkeley in 2 minutes, hop on the highway to Monterey etc...The neighborhood was excellent and there was a designated parking place for our rental car. It all added up to a great experience! The host communication was also excellent!

Convenient & central spot in Oakland

We enjoyed staying here with our two kiddos while visiting family in the area. The duplex was clean and stocked with all the necessary basic amenities. Its central location made it convenient to get around and the host was attentive and thoughtful. Thank you!

Sweet and immaculate stay in Oakland

I am so grateful for this property. I’m excited to have a place to stay in Oakland that is clean, bright and fresh. When you look at a map, you may be concerned about the neighborhood… the property is on a well-maintained street. I felt perfectly safe in this sweet little house. Everything was well-maintained and clean, bright and open. The owners were responsive and fantastic. I will stay here again and again.

Clean modern home in a great location

Riza's is an amazing host and her place is clean, modern, and comfortable. Riza was super responsive to messages and checked it with us to make sure we checked in okay. The check in process was easy and the off street parking was a plus. The home is located near a lot of shops and restaurants, but still located on a quite street. The beds were comfortable and made for great rest after a long day of activities. Our family would stay at Riza's place again and recommend it to anyone traveling to the Oakland area.

Conveniently located

We enjoyed our stay in Pill Hill. Easy access to the MacArthur BART station and walking distance to several restaurants. Riza was responsive and access was easy.

We are in the Mosswood neighborhood next to Temescal. Four blocks to the MacArthur BART station which will get you to San Francisco’s Financial District in 17 minutes. 8 minute walk to Kaiser Oakland & Alta Bates Summit Medical Center. 15 minute walk to Piedmont Avenue and Temescal shops & restaurants. We are very close to everything a person could need. Plenty of grocery stores, a great variety of restaurants, pharmacies, dry cleaners and tons of entertainment. Easy access to San Francisco. The Oakland Airport is close and UC Berkeley is only a few miles away.
