Beautiful cozy house with a deck and patio overlooking the amazing Rock River and Lake Koshkonong! This fully remodeled home can accommodate up to 5 couples or 2 families with it's 2 large bedrooms with king size beds, and a third smaller open concept bedroom/gaming room with a full sized futon couch/bed! The living area has a couch that is attached to a queen sized Murphey bed, and a futon for extra sleeping space! The kitchen and living area are fully open concept with all of the amenities you could ask for! Our kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to fix amazing meals for your family, or sit at the table and breakfast bar and order take out from any one of the great take out/delivery places in the area! We offer a charcoal grill on the back patio for the grill master in your group! There is also both casual restaurants and fine dining supper clubs close by! Many bars full of night life and frequent live music all accessible by both boat or car! Have your morning coffee out on the deck, patio or pier and watch the beautiful Rock River flow by! BE SURE TO ASK ABOUT OUR PONTOON FOR RENT! You could explore more of the river, or head on up to the very spacious and recreational Lake Koshkonong! Enjoy amazing fishing from the pier, boating, or just relaxing! This house has it all! Wifi is included. Each bedroom, and the living room are all equipped with smart TV's that will accommodate your netflix, amazon, etc accounts! House has central air for your comfort and also has a washer and dryer so you won't ever have to hit the laundromat! Each booking comes with a complimentary Old Fashion or Bloody Mary Kit (alcohol not included), and 4 bags of free ice per day, and 4 passes for unlimited golf from our local golf course Creekview Par Three! Great week with the family

The house was clean and communication with the property owners was quick and efficient. Nice location with plenty of eating options. Golf at Creekside Par 3 was fun! Would stay here again!

our annual family lakehouse vacation. We all enjoyed the Rock River and Lake Koshkonong. My children and grandchildren enjoyed the golf at Creekview Par three. Recommend the facility and very good owners.

Beautiful Lake Home Getaway

Perfect location right on the river/lake with all the amenities needed. Beautifully newly remodeled and clean and spacious. Kayaks were a plus! The free golf included was great and fun! The owners were very kind and prompt in responding to any questions, we will definitely going back every summer!

A great place for a family of 5. Perfect location, down the street from a few boat rental shops and bars. You are 5 feet from the Rock River that leads out to Lake Kosh. We had more than enough beds for 5 of us, kitchen was clean and modern. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Great place for you and a few people or your family. Enjoy!

View is Beautiful

We very much enjoyed the property. The view of the Rock River was just as described. And our family of 6 adults were able to fit nicely into the house. We also rented the pontoon boat and spend time on the river and lake. We were given the best places to go on the lake and it was as described. Overall our experience went as planned and we were very happy with every day there.

Water and golf

My family really enjoyed our stay at the house. It's on a less busy part of the river leading to the lake. The kids enjoyed swimming off the dock and it was great to take the boat to the sand bars on the actual lake. The golf course is a nice added amenity and more challenging than a typical par three. Great area with lots of restaurants and things to do, but not overly crowded like more well known vacation spots. Highly recommend!

Great Stay at the River house

We recently rented this lovely property on the Rock River in Newville WI. The house is newly remodeled with a very nice lake house style and plenty of room to spread out and relax- inside and out. The location is excellent- near the local riverside restaurants and not far off I-90- but in a very peaceful neighborhood setting. The host Nicole was excellent and had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in the Madison/ Janesville WI area . We will surely be back!

VRBO # 2563707 - 2BR & 2 Bath Waterfront House

We recently stayed 4 nights at the Newville house. As stated in the listing the entire property was recently remodeled and was fresh, clean, and well equipped. The house is perfectly located just about 1/4 mile down the Rock River so if you rent a boat or jet ski you can enjoy both the lake and the river. The owners, Nicky & Aaron, are terrific friendly people and very easy to work with. They are very attentive and quick to respond to any questions or needs. We would highly recommend this property. Family Time

We enjoyed our family vacation! The house was great and had everything we needed for our family of 8, 4 adults, 3 teenagers and 1 kid. We rented the pontoon and brought our own boat too. The dock was perfect for both boats. Beautiful views super quite area. Easy check in process. You couldn’t have better hosts! They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable and just want you to enjoy your stay! The added perks of ice, golf, use of the kayaks and the old fashioned kit along with recommendations for the area to eat/drink were icing on the cake to their hospitality, friendliness and responsiveness. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful lake front property

Fantastic property right on lake Koshkonong. The home was very clean and had all the essentials needed. The two bedrooms on the lower level where a good size and the beds were comfortable. We also used the Murphy bed on the main floor which was also comfortable. Both bathrooms were very neat and clean with great water pressure. During our stay the temperature ranged from 95 to 100 degrees. The house stayed cool and the ceiling fan kept the air moving so it was very comfortable. We also rented Aaron and Nicoles pontoon boat which turned out to be brand new! We spent two days exploring the lake and swimming. Also used the kayaks in the channel off the dock. Aaron and Nicole were very nice and accommodating. My family had a great time and would love to return.

Amazing Family Get Away

Amazing location, amazing property, amazing hosts! I would love to keep this gem a secret! The home is cozy, comfortable and provided plenty of room for our family (2 couples, 4 adult children and a 2 year old granddaughter) to spread out and enjoy a bit of lake life for the 4th of July. Everything you would need and want to enjoy a fun and relaxing time away. The kitchen has all the essentials and the beds, including the futons were very comfortable, the home decorated nicely and impeccably clean. Morning coffee on the dock, family fun floating in the water, grilling and chilling by the fire pit … not to mention the amazing views of the fireworks! Perfect spot! We rented the pontoon as well and could not believe how nice it was … brand new!!! You also could not ask for any better hosts! They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable and just want you to enjoy your stay! The added perks of ice, golf, use of the kayaks and the old fashioned kit along with recommendations for the area to eat/drink were icing on the cake to their hospitality, friendliness and responsiveness. We will definitely be back!

A great trip

Beautiful spot on the Rock River. Very nice dock with kayaks to use. We used the pontoon boat one day (extra cost) and it was a lot of fun. We used the two bedrooms with the king beds. Very comfortable beds and very nice cotton linens and blankets. The other beds are not in actual bedrooms but in the living room and in a little side room downstairs with no door. Living room furnishings could be more comfortable (but they were beds).The kitchen was very clean and new and had very nice cookware. A lot of spices were provided. Bring a cheese grater and bring distilled water for the coffee maker. Also bring your own laundry detergent (not supplied). The backyard is nice with a nice fire pit right on the water front. Neighborhood is very cute and sweet and quiet and well groomed. We enjoyed the gas grill. Owners were very nice and flexible when we changed the day of boat rental. We had a very good week. We also swam in the river but it is about 73 degrees only so a little cool.

Cozy Waterfront with Great Lake Access

We had a great family stay at this cozy cottage with adult kids and my granddaughter (infant). The cottage is cute (lake theme) decorated and clean with a reasonably well appointed kitchen. We prepared several meals including two on the charcoal grill and found everything we needed. The location is the star for this property as it's directly on the river but only a short boat ride from the lake. We were able to take out the pontoon boat on three separate days and I kayaked twice. Close to many restaurants as well, from fast food to fancy. Communication with our host was great. We tried out the fling golf that comes included with the rental and had a fun new experience. It was important to us to be able to bring our dogs and we were able to do that here. The footprint of the place is pretty small but the beds were very comfy and the Murphy bed was SOOO much better than your typical futon or pull out sofa. Really nice. Also, this may seem small but the towels, bed linens and pillows were really high quality. I've been at a lot of places that skimp on these. If you plan to be mostly outside or sleeping, this place is perfect. If we had 6 of us inside for many days of rain, it might have been less fun :). We were also able to do a couple of loads of laundry in the lovely stackable unit since we had wet lake clothes and bathing suits. All in all, a really great stay.

Great location, attentive hosts!

We loved our time at this property and hope to return in the future. We had everything we needed for our group which included two teenage boys – plenty of space to be together and share a meal and play cards, yet room to find our own spaces to read a book or watch a movie during down time. We rented the pontoon from the owners, it was perfect for enjoying both the river and the lake! The owners were attentive and thoughtful, would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our vacation on the rock river. The house is awesome and the hosts were great!! Very clean property and right on the river. Can't say enough about our hosts, friendly, responsive. Their main focus was for us to have the best vacation possible. We would highly recommend this property.
