Perfect place to experience Zion! Away from park busyness in a cute little town. Super clean, with a great view and hot tub which was great at the end of a long day. Recommendations for activities (e-bike rentals, UTV tour) were fantastic! Communication was superb and would totally stay here again if in the area.
Place was as advertised. We enjoyed the location, view, and was perfect size for small family (3 people) with most of our time being spent in the outdoors/national parks.
Cleanest most organized place we have ever stayed. Super impressed that everything was so well thought out by the hosts. They made our stay so peaceful.

Painted Cliffs Casita is the peefect place for a couple or a family of 3 to 4. It is well stocked and tastefully decorated. Beds are very comfortable and the place has amazing views. It is perfectly situated for visiting Bruce Canyon, Zion National Park and other amazing areas like the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park and Kanab.
We stayed two nights at this lovely casita the home was beautiful and the hot tub on the deck was great.

Hi Vanessa, We would definitely welcome you back again and glad that hot tub made your stay special!! Alex & Vanessa
AMAZING. From great communication, an app provided by the owners with all the needed information to the residence itself. So clean and well appointed, hot tub on the porch to watch the sunset. Easy drive to Zion's east entrance for sightseeing and hiking and then relaxing in the hot tub. Perfect time. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at both the main house and the casita and it was everything we had hoped for! The pictures definitely do not do it justice— the views are incredible and the house is top notch. Only 20 minutes to the east entrance of Zion so it is super convenient for visitors. Would definitely stay again!

Great place!
We had a lovely time at Painted Cliffs! The location is absolutely perfect—right between Zion and Bryce Canyon, making it an ideal base for exploring both parks and everything in between. The views are stunning, and we especially enjoyed relaxing by the bonfires in the evening and soaking in the hot tub under the stars. The property was immaculately clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again in the future and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Suited my needs perfectly!
Beautiful views from every window and the balcony, well-appointed and clean, convenient location yet private, Painted Cliffs was the ideal accommodation for my solo 10 day stay.
What you see is exactly what you get here - a beautiful, quiet, fully furnished place. We loved the kitchen, the living room, the rooms, the hot tub, we enjoyed the entire space! The views are gorgeous both from the kitchen and the deck. Hosts were easy to reach and happy to help if needed. We will for sure be back!

Second stay
We chose to stay at this property a second stay as we thoroughly enjoyed our first stay. This property is so enjoyable with the amazing views, awesome amenities, cleanliness, comfort, communication w/ owners, etc. I could go on and on. Much pride goes into this property for people to enjoy and we thank you!!
We came from several geographic locations, Texas, Oklahoma , Hawaii and Utah for a quick get together. The accommodations were outstanding, tastefully decorated and everything was in immaculate condition. There are so many things to do in Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and further west towards Hurricane. Would highly recommend this VRBO, the owners are very responsive and kept van us informed.

Centrally located to a mass of recreational activities
The property was as beautiful as expected, exceptionally clean and inviting. Its centrally located to several national and state parks which makes it easy to travel for a day hike, returning for a comfortable soak in the hot tub. The management was quick to response and attentive to all needs. If you’re still questioning it, go for it. You will not be disappointed!
This spot was the perfect place for our trip to Zion and Bryce National Parks. It was close to both parks but was located in secluded area that we could enjoy the outdoors.
We found the home very clean and well supplied. It was all that we could ask for.
There was a problem with the washing machine which Alex corrected very quickly and professionally.
Great Place!!!

Hey Gary,
Thanks for the great review. It was nice to meet you and your wife while you were here. So glad you enjoyed your stay.
What a wonderful space! La Casita was exactly as described. Beautifully designed and decorated. Perfect space for a family of 4. Kitchen was well stocked and very spacious. The Fire Pit was a great addition where the family could gather during the cool summer evenings. Conveniently located for visits to Zion National, Sand Dunes State Park, Bryce Canyon and more. Close to great eating spots in the town of Kanab. We had an overall magnificent and magical vacation in the desert.

Just perfect
We had a great stay as a family at painted cliffs casita in august 2024. Astonishing views, house is clean and with all you need (AC inclusive) between Zion and Bryce. You have a lot of things to do in the surroundings of the casita. Spectacular sunsets to see from the jacuzzi or from the fireplace. And even rabbits or deers to see around the place. We definitely are coming back.
Our family of four loved this spot! Our two teen kids slept really well in the “cubby bunks” tucked in the bedroom. The bed space seemed bigger than a twin to us. Everything is new and nice. We loved having the hot tub on the deck with easy access and a great view. We originally thought we wanted to stay closer to the south entrance to Zion but glad for light traffic and a more quiet location nearer to the east entrance. Highly recommend!!
Very nice accommodation and very well appointed. Much less crowded than Springdale. A tiny bit on the tight side for family of 4 with bigger teenagers but still worked pretty well. Hot tub was great.
Please note that although only 20 minutes to east entrance of Zion, it’s a good 45 minutes to get to the visitor center where Zion Canyon shuttle stops to go to the more popular trail heads. It’s a gorgeous drive though.

Perfecf
The property location is stunning and perfect for exploring Zion and Bryce. The Casita was immaculate, cosy, well equipped, warm and had the perfect view. We enjoyed eating on the deck and s'mores by the fire pit. We wanted to stay longer and wish we had booked a week. The whole stay was perfect, the hosts were helpful and answered all questions quickly. Thank you, we will definitely book again.

About the host
Hosted by Alex and Vanessa Pavlides
Vanessa’s family built their vacation cabin on the borderline of Zion National Park in the mid-1970’s. As a child, she spent many summers hiking, exploring & enjoying the magical land of Zion. The area created special memories with family and friends; holding a special place in her heart. When Vanessa started a family of her own it was no surprise she brought them to the area; sharing the magic of her childhood with her own family. Hiking familiar trails and discovering new secrets became harder and harder to leave. Soon she and her husband, Alex, realized each visit was never long enough. In 2020 it was time to make Zion their home. Their love & knowledge of the area ensures their guests experience the magic of the Zion area just like a local. No matter how long or short the stay; everyone is guaranteed a unique experience. Breathtaking vistas, towering cliffs cast in rainbow patterns, sand in your shoes, canyons that wind on in maze-like patterns… it’s all here. Waiting to become unforgettable memories.
