Anna Maria vacation

This is a beautiful house, we vacation in Anna Maria every year and could not book our usual home because it was already booked. We were a little disappointed by a few things. The furniture as stated in a previous review is old and uncomfortable, the sofas reminded me of my college sofa, shabby and old. There are the metal chairs which are also uncomfortable. Then there’s the beds, very uncomfortable. Another disappointment was the fact there was no cooler and only 4 beach chairs. There’s also the alarms that you have to press EVERY time you go out to the pool, a total pain in the neck.The house was clean and has great potential. Comfort is not on the agenda apparently. It’s a great location, walking distance to the beach and the canal in the back was fun for fishing. For the outrageous price we expected more. The management company was very helpful and responsive with a hot water issue.

North End IKEA

The location is nice. Quiet neighborhood, secluded from neighbors, close 1-2 block walk to the beach and many of the shops and restaurants. The property was clean and well kept other than some cracks in appliances and tubs. It could use a deep cleaning to get the vents and nooks and crannies better. Most of the beds are comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels for bathrooms and beds. The bunk beds are questionable. Very shaky and seemed like they really needed tightened and anchored. The hammock just needs replaced. The furnishings are all IKEA so if you’re in love with that, you’ll love it. A couple suggestions, supply a vacuum for hard floors or a swiffer. The vinyl floor gets very sandy and brooming all that flooring takes a while. An electric blower for the pool deck would be great. Along with gutters on the back of the house. Rain washes a LOT of granules from the roof that end up all over the pool deck and the trees drop a lot of leaves. A little blower to clean up would be great. The pool is nice. It’s private and well landscaped for privacy. It’s a nice place to stay. Not too fancy, definitely cleaned and comfortable. With a few tweaks it would be a great place. The location is great for being able to get to the North End shops and beach.

Perfect Location

This home was very nice with plenty of space for our family of 7. Walking distance to main road shops, pier and beach. Having the pool was a big hit with the kids. I would highly recommend this home and would return if we come back to the island for another stay.

Loved Anna Maria Island

It's a great island.....north end was to our liking, not as commercial. The house worked, tho' to call it a zen house is way off. It's all plastic, floors, kitchen,bathrooms, sparsely furnished w/old old couches and metal chairs. No character, as we saw in most other houses. But probably perfect for a big family with lots of kids. The description was not at all what it was......better to be honest about that. we'll return to the island to a different house and definitely different Rental/ property managers(AMI), they were rude from the get go and offered no Covid safety. The people who work for them and came to fix the pool and television were really nice and appreciated.

North End Zen

Really enjoyed our week at North End Zen on AMI. Our family of 5 had more than enough room to spread out and then some in this property. Two families could fit easily. The house had what we needed, very clean and a nice touch of modern with comfort. The dock was a bonus, and the pool area was great. We had a boat tied up in back and rented a kayak. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes down Coconut. Very little noise on the north end. Beach in that area is mostly renters and was not crowded. Easy walk to shops and donut experiment on Pine Ave. Check out the North Shore Cafe. Good stuff. See you next summer AMI.

Beautiful, relaxing home!

This property is very conveniently located to both shores (Gulf and Bay) Gulf is in walking distance, and bay side is a short drive. Restaurant and shops are close. My children 17 and 14 greatly enjoyed the pool and dock. The home is spacious and very relaxing. Previous posts concerned me about the ability to cool (air conditioning concerns) the home but we had ZERO problems with this. Over all great vacation! This was our first time staying on Anna Marie Island, it was a little crowded feeling for us, but did have a close nit beachy feel. We felt safe and welcomed by everyone on the island. Traffic in and out of the island can be long! I would recommend going, no experiences were terrible or greatly unpleasant. Beautiful vacation!

We spent two great weeks at "North End Zen". The location is unbeatable, it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the beach, so even our children didn´t mind walking. You´re one minute away from Pine Street with loads of nice Shops like the Donut Experiment and J Burns Pizza, but there´s no traffic as it´s a dead end. The rental has a beautiful open layout, you step out of the kitchen right to the pool area. There´s sunshine as well as shady spots in the garden depending on what you prefer. Our Boys loved the little dock and spent hours fishing (for the first time in their lives). We had to catch our daughter to get her out of the pool at night... . We rented kayaks and loved to paddel along the waterways and even out to the bay for a swim. The Aircondition works a little inconsistent, the bedrooms too far away (northern side) didn´t really cool down but still allowed a good sleep. The views out of the kitchen area are stunning. You feel like you´re right in the mangroves. Anna Maria Island Accommodations (AnnaMariaParadise) did a great Job, everthing was clean and taken care of. They were very friendly, something we hadn´t experienced a year ago with a rental company further south on the Island. We´ll definitely come back.

Had great experience of staying in this property last week, hopefully we can go back some day. House is really well kept, plenty roomy, updated and decorated very tastefully. Has pretty much all you need with great backyard that has a very nice pool and gas grill. Has the dock in the back perfect for fishing or to access canal with say a kayak. Location is also very good, very quiet and secluded but with easy access to beach either walking, bike or golf cart. The only negatives or things to improve: could use new beach towels, the ones available are worned out. Also, need new beach chairs and umbrella. Had like 4 beach chairs but maybe one was useable and the umbrella was also falling apart. Other than that the property was basically perfect.

very nice property and great location but a few things need to be addressed

The house was very spacious and the pool was great but the management/owner missed a few things that should have been repaired or replaced: 1. Towels were old and grey and not enough available. (White towels that were old and grey in color should have been replaced with some new towels. Towels were stained and very old that we didn't even want to use.) 2. Beach chairs were rusty, broken and old. It would have been better not to have beach chairs available to the guests than to have them at the pool that were dirty, broken and rusted. Other than the above, the house was very nice and location was great!

Stunning and beautiful

We absolutely loved the house. We were 7 people and we had lots of room. The kitchen is very well equipped and the interior of the house is beautiful. We all loved the pool and the little garden (with lots of geckos). Anna Maria is beautiful with amazing beaches. We would definitely come back.

The house is beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, the pool is great, the location is awesome. You can walk to a lot of different places for food and coffee, get pizzas right at the end of the street. The house is very comfortable, if you're traveling with a group that needs privacy, like two separate families or people that don't all live in the same household together, all four of the bedrooms are separated on the corners of the house, so a lot of privacy, everything was very comfortable, we loved it!

Best vacation ever!

We had 2 families staying for the week. The house was gorgeous! It was so well-equipped that we didn't need anything else. We cooked most dinners at the house and had plenty of room in the dining room for all 7 of us to eat together. The walk to the beach was a little long for my special needs niece. But a quick jump in the car and we were there! We drove to a different beach every day, but decided the one closest to the house was the best! My usually poker-faced nephew (18 years old), was even sad to leave! Can't wait to come back! The sooner the better!

A dream come true!

The pictures do not begin to do this home justice! It is absolutely gorgeous and perfect. From the stunning pool area, to the view from the kitchen windows out into the bay, the comfortable and beautiful furnishings, the 2 block stroll to the beach and the ability to walk or bike anywhere on the north end of the island. We gathered the female members of our family here for a pre-wedding celebration and had the time of our lives! It was the perfect vacation spot and a vacation dream come true! We will be back as soon as we can!
