Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains, it is less than a 2-hr drive from DC and Baltimore (2.5 hrs from Pittsburgh)—close enough to get there quickly, but far enough to feel like a whole different world. Located at The Woods, there are plenty of amenities (like a full-service spa and 36 holes of golf), or fire up the hot tub, chill out, and relax!

Loved it!!! It was romantic and cozy. Once we arrived we never left the property. Would stay there again and may bring some friends next time. I’m so glad we went by ourselves though for the first time, we were like a gritty young couple . Excellent property ,property manger was very warm a, kind and inviting. In one word our weekend was “PERFECT!”

Couch could use replacing, needed a couple more kitchen gadgets such as mixing bowls and cookie sheets. Replace deck chair cushions and clean up the outside around house. Overall the stay was enjoyable and we would stay there again. Thank you.

Perfect pre-Christmas weekend

Absolutly love this cabin. It was super clean. Well stocked. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. We relaxed and enjoyed things in the area. The host was amazing and kept in contact with us. We will be back!!

Great weekend getaway

Nicely furnished. Well equipped kitchen. Nice outdoor space. Fun drives to Berkeley springs and martinsburg for dinners. Community rec center and pool was great on a rainy morning.

The host’s attention to detail is awesome. Not only was the cabin well appointed, comfortable, and relaxing… the host decorated with a Christmas tree and holiday decor.Although it wasn’t our home, it felt like home. Very appreciative of the details and cleanliness of the cabin.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway!

It was the most perfect little cabin to get away for the weekend with friends and celebrate birthdays and life events! We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit right outside. The enclosed deck and screened in porch were perfect for the dogs to hang out in. The kitchen was stocked with all of the things you might need to make meals. Overall, it was such a relaxing trip and we definitely hope to be back soon!

Quiet get-a-way with lots of space

Great screened in porch! Our favorite place on the property! Spacious kitchen and great room lovely for lounging while we cooked. The hiking trails were easily accessible and the neighborhood so quiet. Hot tub was a bonus. Fire pit was fun to sit around at night. Plenty of wood provided. Owners communicated well and were accommodating.

MICE

Went there for a couple days and the place was dirty. Hair and dust throughout the unit under tables, chairs, corners. Dirty dog food and water bowls in the kitchen. Mice live in this home. We saw a couple our first night run through the kitchen and it was difficult to feel comfortable the rest of the trip. Host denied a refund of the cleaning fee, even though she was the one that “cleaned” the place. Definitely will not book again. Do NOT Recommend.

Not too satisfied

I didn't receive the email for entering the property so I had to call to get it. I was told I couldn't get pool passes that I requested the week before my stay - but she did get them for me.The dryer wouldn't get hot - which was HUGE issue because I had a 3 year old and a 8 week old baby with me and a washer/dryer was one of the main things I needed.The outback deck was nasty - all the cushions were thrown into the sunroom on the floor and stained.The hot tub top and black bar was rusted.NONE of the bedrooms have lights in them, they all have lamps. The couch is old and needs to be replaced - you literally fall into it like your sitting on the floor.The sunroom was nice - but needed a good cleaning.The hot water didn't last after 2 showers it was cold.I would not stay here again!

Great weekend girls trip with everything you need!

My 2 girlfriends and I stayed for the weekend as a reunion. We haven't seen each other since college, about 13 years ago. It had everything we possibly could have needed. A great new washer and dryer, some condiments and seasonings, and tons of kitchen utensils. The listing is a bit confusing because it shows two pictures of the same master but looks different. Also, the description says the master bedroom has a twin bed but it's a queen and on the first floor. It has a jacuzzi tub but a little outdated and a broken tile. The closets were very big and the master had tons of extra towels and beach towels plus so many games (which we did enjoy)! The lighting was kind of dark which made it a little tough to see our games. The fireplace was so nice since it was raining outside, they even included fire starter logs and tons of wood! The beds were all incredibly comfortable and I'm usually picky about beds! The side porch was so comfortable and relaxing. The deck, hot tub, firepit was really pretty! Had stuff to make smores too! Great wifi service as well. I recommend bringing a speaker (luckily we did) to play music. I do suggest not using the master bedroom fan because it's extremely loud, kept us upstairs up all night the first night. It is also about 30 min drive to Berkley Springs and a bit of a drive to groceries but a dollar general was 10 min away. Thank you again for sharing this wonderful cabin, we had such an amazing time!

Wonderful place!

This place was GREAT! It was very clean and the outdoor area was beautifully done. My favorite area was the enclosed porch area where I sat, drank coffee, and read, enjoying the fresh air and quiet. There are other homes nearby, but it was still very quiet. We had two small issues the owner addressed immediately and was very responsive the entire time we were there. My friends and I look forward to staying again in the future!
