The cabin was private and very relaxing. Perfect place to go and relax. Very clean And the kitchen was a nice size. The rooms were all very nice.

Celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary. Entire process was very easy and we found the cabin on the first try. Much needed R&R in a beautiful, relaxing setting. Rental was very clean and well taken care of. This place has all the amenities of home! We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Cute cabin

Cute, has some charm, peaceful, well appointed and affordable. Stayed there because I was having new flooring installed in my home. It was great to have someplace to stay only 5 minutes drive to my home if I was needed by the work crew. So unfortunately, because of my situation not necessarily relaxing. There are a few things in the cabin that do need to be addressed, but nothing major.

Mountain Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whispering Woods. The home was immaculate. The kitchen is well appointed. Comfortable seating awaits you in the living room. The balcony overlooking secluded woods and a small stream is bucolic. Access to the community pools and health facilities is an added bonus. We look forward to another visit soon!

The property was adorable and very, very clean. All the things that you would need for a lovely stay and beautiful surroundings. The beds were not quite as comfortable as we would hope they might be and we did have an issue one day with getting the door to unlock. Took us 10 minutes to finally be able to get the door unlocked. I did let the host know immediately after we did get in that it had happened. Roxanna was very responsive. All in all, it was a good stay.

Secluded with a view

Just an amazing location. Wooded on all sides, no street noise, no people. Close to a golf course. Wall of glass doors, and the main living area has high ceilings.The only thing that kept it from being perfect was the beds weren’t great. But they weren’t awful either, just could have been better. We would stay there again and again, it was that nice.

Wonderful Getaway

This cozy cabin was the perfect getaway for our 3 year anniversary. We enjoyed playing golf on The Woods’ beautiful greens, hiked in some breathtaking areas, worked out and swam at the sports complex center and cuddled around the fireplace in the evenings. It was perfect!

nice stay at and in The Woods

Very much enjoyed my two week stay while riding the C&O canal towpath trail. It was very quiet. Saw multiple squirrels and birds hanging out around the house. Got to watch a buck, doe and its fawn that were pretty close to the house, unfortunately my camera was inside at the time. Wish it would have been cooler so that i could have enjoyed meals on the deck. The homeowner cut down just enough trees to build the driveway and house so the house is surrounded by and mostly shaded by very tall trees.The check-in process was very simple once I called the rental contact. Was a little hard to find the box with the key when the box blends into what it was attached to in gloomy conditions. Based on the conversation with the rental contact, I'm not the first one to have this issue.The house does have a mini-split HVAC system. Did end up buying a small box fan to help get some air movement into the bedroom I was using. Having two box fans at the house for guests to use would be a nice touch.The grill did have a buildup of something that was catching on fire which I did cleanup after the grill cooled. Several of the pots had loose handles and the skillet has seen better days.Would stay here again if/when I'm back in the area.
